(OOC: This topic takes place during Loracs nightmare that entrapped Silvanesti. Not much is said about Silvanesti during this time period with the exception of the beginning of the nightmare and the end of the nightmare . Lets see what could happen while the elves battle away to rid the land of the evils of Loracs nightmare. Of course this mission is meant to fail, but we can have a little fun before our characters die. We cant lift the curse, that privilage is left to my inspiration, Raistlin.)

Langulund stood on a hill overlooking the city of Silvanesti. The view was hideous. The trees bled and were contorted into grotesque forms that made a tear come to his eye. The wildlife had been killed off, or mutated just as badly as the trees. And in the center of it all, the Tower of the Stars, the source of the plague of the land. From this place originated Loracs nightmare, the king who destroyed the world in which Langulud lived his whole life. He could remember when the land was not like this, Silvanesti was beautiful then. But now his only hope was to fight plague with his greatest weapon...magic.

Langulund Strongtree was not as old as he seemed, the years of fighting this curse had left him tired, but not without hope. A few wrinkles marred his face, unheard of by an elf of two hundred years, but his long beautiful silver hair and his deep sapphire eyes showed his age better than the rest of his body.

When the nightmare hit, Langulund was one of the few mages in Silvanesti who had been permitted to take the test at the Tower of High Sorcery, this made him a great asset to the elves. At the time, his magic was rivaled only by King Loracs, but now over years of full usage he was much more powerful. He could cast a spell without even thinking of the words, they just came to him. He was now a general among his people, but he was growing tired of fighting the curse, whenever he cleared an area the curse just came back and destroyed the land again. He knew what he had to do, he had to assault the Tower of the Stars and wake Lorac from the nightmare.

Pulling his sword from its sheath, Langulund walked slowly down the hill towards the city he once loved. He had to kill the dragon,Cyan Bloodbane, and free the land from this evil. You cannot run from the darkness, when it comes to you, it will consume you.

She screamed out her pain, the pain of the trees coursed through her....through her blood of all her house...the house of the woodshapers. "I WILL DESTROY YOU....OR DIE TRYING!!" she screamed again.may all those lost in the tragedy of 9-11-01 forever remiain in our hearts...

Gifan had wandered all through the dreadful forest wondering what had went wrong. "Hmmm this looks interesting." Picking up a dead bird he sighed, "poor bird..........what is going on here?" Deciding he could spend a whole just investigating he kept on his way. Hearing the scream of a woman he turned hurridley in that direction. The magic of the mind is within you all. Do you have the power to harness it?

Langulund heard the scream and went running in its direction. There he saw a female elf, a beautiful sight in this horrendous forest. "Dear lady, what ever is wrong? Did you see something?" Just as he approached her a creature jumped out of the bushes and attacked him. It looked as if it was a wolf at one time, but its features were twisted like everything else in the forest. It had six legs that were all as long as a humans, and its fangs were nearly a foot long reaching out of its mouth, dripping with saliva that seemed to burn the ground. Langulund pulled out his sword and lashed at the beasts head. It leapt back a few feet and charged him. The creatures weight pushed Langulund to the ground, and it had him pinned, its saliva burning the skin on his face. "That is enough beast." He growled at the creature. A bright flash of light surged out of Lang's hands and fired through the beast leaving two gaping holes in its chest. Pushing the carcass off his body he slowly stood up and scanned the area for more beasts. There were none that he could detect and he again approached the woman. You cannot run from the darkness, when it comes to you, it will consume you.

Melethka scanned the horrors that were the forest of Silvanesti with startling blue eyes. Her auburn hair flew in a sudden breeze, a cold dark breeze filled with dread. Tears filled her eyes, twisting her beautiful features with sorrow.

A scream sounded in the distance and all the sadness left the elven mage. Drawing twin silver scimitars, Melethka ran towards the sound just in time to see a mutilated wolf spring at a man approaching from the other direction. Melethka broke into a run but she feared she would be too late. A flash of light ended the battle suddenly, much to the mage's relief. She watched the man go to the woman, the one who had presumably screamed. Approaching with the silence of her namesake, Melethka pulled her red robes around her and walked towards the pair. Langulund felt the presence of another mage nearby and he turned around and motioned her forward. "Now that some people have arrived, I hope the two of you could assist me somewhat. I need to get into the Tower of the Stars and destroy that dragon. If we dont our efforts to restore the forest will all be in vain. I hope the two of you could help me to defeat him." With that Langulund patiently awaited their responses. You cannot run from the darkness, when it comes to you, it will consume you.

Melethka sheathed her twin blades and bowed to the mage.

"The Order of Melethka is at your disposal." She said with a wry smile, as if at a secret joke.Good becomes ignorant.

Langulund almost completely ignored the others around him. He was still enraged from the battle with the grotesque beast he had just fought. His only goal was to kill that damned dragon, Bloodbane. He pushed his way through the perverted forest, hacking away at anything that moved with his longsword. He wanted to kill the dragon, or take out as many of his creations that he could before he would inevitably be killed himself. He was about a mile away from the castle when they attacked. The looked like elves, but they had died long since. Their bodies were distorted, and oozing blood from every cut and opening on their bodies. He had never seen elves infected with the nightmare, at least not whole bodies like these. They looked as if they had only been dead a few weeks, the flesh still solid on their bodies. He was shocked and in fear of what he could become if he perished here. He mustered all his courage and charged the abominations, but he knew that without help he would surely die at their hands. You cannot run from the darkness, when it comes to you, it will consume you.

Silar frowned, her own shock and anger at what had happened to her beloved homeland, had unfocused her mind. her violet eyes focused once more, then ran after Langulund. She stopped in shock as she saw the distorted nighmarish creatures that where attacking them. She cried out and charged them herself, drawing her sword and dagger. She would not allow another Elf die alone in this cursed place."The world is not enough, but it is such a perfect place to start"

"No one ever died from wanting too much"

"theres no point in living if you can't feel alive"

"If we can't have it all...then nobody will"

((OOC: Hm? ....Oh, are we continuing? Yay.))

Melethka ran next to Silar, drawing her twin scimitars from her belt. She moved automatically to brush her red robes back into place for the fight and then frowned when she realized she was wearing the clothes of a ranger to her normal red. Sighing, she looked ahead to the battle, her blue eyes weary.

"Any idea how to kill these things?" she muttered to Silar, staring defiently at the monstrosities as she stood in between her two fellow elves and adopted a battle stance.

((OOC: I'm going to change what I said before and say that Melethka is not wearing her robes. That way, she can be revealed later as a red robe and elves don't like red robes...k?))Good becomes ignorant.

(OOC: I started this one back up to see if anyone would bite, and I guess it was a good idea. Thank you Kalia and Starlite for helping. Now back to the chaos >:).)

Langulund was not afraid anymore, mainly because his fellow elves were pulling together to fight this horrible plague. He raised his sword high and brought it down on one of the creatures heads, and it easily cleaved the monsters head in two. "Their bodies are softer than normal due to their decomposed state. Just swing hard and youll have no problems fighting them." Another one approached him and grabbed his arm, its nails digging deep into his flesh. Langulund watched the creature as it tried to drink the blood from his arm. "You will never drink from me you foul beast." he screamed at it. Before it could drink he brought his sword around and sliced its body in two, right through its torso. It fell lifelessly to the ground next to its fellow. "Only a couple more to go."
