Come and hear,
Hear and come,
Listen to the tales of

The melodious voice of a bard echoes through the night air as you stumble upon the doorsteps of the inn. A cozy fire and a few travellers greet you as you make your way to the barkeep.

"Greetings! I am Morthrond Half-Elven, proprietor and barkeep of this fine inn. Have a seat and enjoy the ale! Would that be a bottle or two?"And darkness took his soul and made it it's own, forever trapped in the endless nothingness that is the heart of darkness...

The barkeep obliged and she went and sat down in a cosy chair by the fire, enjoying the wine, the warmth and the sound of the bard as he played and sang.Ray: It looks like a giant Jello mould!!

Garrick laughed heartily at the foppish bard. The bear like Ranger had a voice to mach his size and some of the guests who prefered it quieter gave him stares. Of course they looked away quickly when the giant caught their eye. The Ranger took no offense however, he was not quick to anger.

Turning his attention back to the bard he guffawed once more with laughter. The man was now waving his arms wildly doing acrobatics and juggling while telling a very serious story about the great cataclysm. All the while he kept a very serious look on his face. Garrick couldn't imagine how though.

Noticing the pretty young elf Garrick caught himself in midsentence as he was yelling for more from the bard. The ranger always got faint of heart and light headed when elf maidens were around, and he never knew why. Approaching the bar, he asked the bartender what she had been drinking and bought a bottle of it. Moving with belied grace for one his size he made his way to the table and placed the wine next to her. Bowing he said
"A maiden with your beauty must have a voice to match. I hope this is fee enough to buy a kind word from your mouth." Smiling he filled her glass back to the top.Arthur- Camelot!

Justin Swyftsword sat in the corner of the inn, listing to the bard playing. He wasn't much for singing himself but he enjoyed listening to others. He sat and sipped a glass of dwarf spirits, watching the ranger and mage converse. "He's going to have a handful with her," he said quietly. He smiled and listened to sounds of the travelers in the room. It's not the game you play but the how you play it.

Joe stops strumming the harp strings and waves goodbye to the crowd, despite the cries of disapontment. He sits at a table and sighs. Playing always brought back memory's of days gone by, innocent days... next thing, he'd be juggling! But it was fun. He was content when he played.
In fact, the ever scheming man was tired of schemes. He had steel in his pouch from playing, and a thirst in his mouth from singing. He wanted mead, a woman, and a good game for money. Dice, or any sort of gambling he could think of.
But despite not lacking money, old habits are hard to break. "I need a drink to clear my parched throat." he says to the room at large. "I can't sing without my voice..." Joe then smiles as four large mugs of mead arrive next to him. "Thank you all, i'll return to the stage later." he says to those who ordered the drinks.
The com man sips, and watches to see if his two other wishes would come true as well."I should become a lesbian"- Quiralanthalasa ,in a moment of deep reflection on her life.

A man wearing a strange greenish scale armor entered the inn and made his way towards a secluded corner of the room. He was roughly a few inches above six feet and has a long, golden hair. I slowly made my way through the press of people around me. This place has changed a lot since I was banished by my accursed cousin. This inn seems to be a good place to stay for a while.

Taking the look in her eyes to be invitation, Garrick sat, "So miss, do you come here often." He clenched his eyes shut. Dumb question Garrick, she's an adventurer no doubt she's simply stopping by. He would have slapped himself if she wasn't watching.

A considerable amount of commotion happens outside as a large brown dragon flies toward the inn and settles itself outside, allowing a strangely dressed man to dismount. The dragon then flies up to sleep on a nearby cliff. The man walks into the bar (ouch :D ) . "Greetings!" The dragonrider announced. "J'mes!" was the reply of the few that knew him. He then walked over and sat by the barkeep. "So, how about some stories for my paper on this planet? Anyone?"Free the flame and sear the grasses,

An older man leaned back in his stool between Mirror and Garrick, "Aye you are lad, more of a Vagrant really." The geezer smiled, "How many times are we going to have to kick you out of this place?" This brought forth a chuckle from all the regulars.
Garrick grinned "Farom, the day anyone here can force me out the door is the day I hang up my sword and cloak!"

Ghostbuster Lillypad, kender cleric of fizban extra-ordinare, Hero of the Scroll Quest (well, not yet,but eventually), and really handsome guy, enters the inn. He walks towards Torminius purposely, not even stopping to pick up a really shiny pebble from the floor. Ok, yes stopping. But not for very long!
He happily shakes the hand of his seeker, absently pulling off the green gauntlet and trying it on. "Hiya there! I was a'hearing you were looking for me and a few of my old buddies. You should know, my adventuring days are a whiles back, wanderlust is hitting me far less powerfully now-adays."

Garrick sighed and slumped back in his chair. Before he had been able to say, "of course go ahead." the elf maiden had been up and gone. To each their own, he thought. Damn! And I thought I was doing well. Oh well, I suppose this bear of a man will have to find a woman to match. Farmer's duaghter was about the best he'd ever do. Ghostbuster takes a seat after shaking Torminius's hand. He gets into storyteller mode. "Well, you see nephew, a long long long time ago, there were no kender. There were gnomes, and elves, and ogre's, and humans. And all of them kept losing things, humans especially!"
"Paladine saw this, and he was really upset. He was giving all these gifts to the people on Kyrnn, and they kept losing them! So, old Fizzy went to Reorx and told him his problem. After a while of discussing the problem, they discovered how to solve it! Reorx created a new race of beings, fast, cute, and always ready to find things for the humans and other races who lost them!"
Ghostbuster smiles at his nephew, and at the crowd which had gathered, listening agape to the tale of creation. "So, you see nephew? If it wasn't for human's losing things, us kender wouldn't exist. Be grateful they lose things!"

Garrick couldn't let this go... his grandfather had been a storyteller of sorts, a well travelled bard, and hearing this kender twist the story was disgusting. Getting up he walked over to the table just as the kender finished. Shaking his head he said, "Little one, have you never heard the story of the Greygem?" Looking around Garrick said,

"Gather 'round friends and hear the true story of the creation of the kender, and dwarves, goblins, horn-heads and the like. Now the kender was truthfull in that Ansalon was once only made up of elves, humans, and ogres later the gnomes came into the picture. Torminius closed his eyes, letting his memories wash over him like a tide, bringing with it the memories conjured up by the god that has been contracted by his father, Mertonius, the presence of the god of white magic, Solinari.

He can see vividly as the two ancient towers of magic were rent apart by the forces unleashed by the mages to protect their secrets from the attack of the angry mobs. He can see the various magical artifacts, stored within the dark and dank confines of the magicaly protected mazes beneath the towers. And their, he can see, as one can see through clear glass, the paths and byways the mages took to avoid the traps.

He opened his eyes again, returning to the present. I thought I was alone in the dark... Now, I Know I am Alone In the Dark... Marc
