It's Nana's 85th Birthday tomorrow, so we're heading up today for the party tomorrow. They have dial-up, so internet access is limited since there is only one computer in their house, and they don't like people on it during the day since it blocks the phone line, so I can't guarantee that I'll get online. I'll try, though.

If not, I'll be back either late tomorrow night or midday Sunday.

Enjoy yourself- with 3 posts in Exceptions in a very short space of time I think you can be allowed the break ;)

I'm here, decided to jump on the computer now that nobody else is awake.

Let me tell you, nothing will make you appreciate your broadband internet connection more than visiting grandparents who are using a Dial-Up connection with a computer running on 254 MB of RAM. It makes me shed tears of electronic pain. :'(

Stoic, if you're reading this, I may be interested in joining your Sith Happens thread (love the title, by the way), if I think I can put the time in. I'd post in that thread, but I think I'm going to call this slow-motion adventure to an end. It only took me 3 minutes to load the first page, then 8 minutes to load the initial "Processing Log In, Please Wait..." page, then 5 minutes to load the home page once I was logged in, then 7 minutes to load the Roleplaying Forums....

Need I continue?

I'll be home soon enough. I would like to get a proper introduction into the Star Wars universe, it seems like it'd be fun. The little taste I got of the Dark Side in that one thread was good, so I think I'm ready to take a bigger bite. :)

We only got broadband in the last year, so I remember the pain well, oh so well.
I used to have a couple of pages loading AND a book with me so I'd have something to do while waiting.
