Im used to RPing in different kinds of sites, so I have one main question here.
How do you customize your character and stuff, because I didnt see any of what I normally do here. (I know Ill probably figure this out soon, but any help would still be appreciated...)

You create each character individually for the different RPs that you're in, using a character sheet.
I'm not sure what you mean by customizing...?

I think he means using one character for ALL RP's.
Well, my problem, I think, is the thing that Ive checked out a couple RolePlaying threads, and it seems like they have no profile, they just kind of are THERE. I think its probably because Im used to GaiaOnline.com, if any of you know that.

No offense, but this is absolutely NOTHING like GaiaOnline.
Uber bad comparison.
Here, roleplaying isn't about a little person you have created for yourself and then you roleplay with him. Its about a character you develop and create for the purpose of the plot/thread that you want to be involved in. sure you recycle them sometimes, but for the most part they are your own complete creation. As far as profiles go, when you seek to join a thread you put together a profile for that character, but it stands (in most cases) alone.

I could be wrong but it sounds like maybe you haven't checked the OoC part of the threads?
Each game thread has two parts, the RP for the actual story, and the OoC for posting character sheets (usually the DM will put a sample one up) and any game queries.
OoC can be reached either from the main menu of the particular forum or from the RP part using a drop down menu.

Once you access a roleplaying thread, you will notice at the top and bottom of it next to the page number selector is a silver/gray box labelled "OOC/RECR PAGE:" I suspect this might be what you are missing. It gives access to the OOC (Out Of Character) pages which should give detailed information posted by the DM/GM about that individual Roleplaying thread, as well as character sheets etc.
I hope that helps. :)
