Is there a way to delete a failed thread? I need to know.

Not that I'm aware of.
I know people have tried before but I think only mods can do it.
Usually if it's inactive it's just left to sink gradually and sadly to the end of the page and then disappear forever.

All threads inactive for a period of six months will be removed and placed in the Roleplay Now! archives.

Deleting threads will penalize all the players for their posts, and even more so for the thread master. I can lock it if you like, but I won't delete it.
