This is no new problem for anyone person, but still. I have given advice to ppl for may years about how to handle situations but dont see to be able to find them my self when I have them. So: What do you do when you really fucked up a friendship? When saying "Im sorry" really isnt enough. I know time will help but if any one else can give put in an idea of how to earn a friend's trust back that would be helpful! Thank you much!
It's hard to give advice when we know nothing about the situation. Like you've already said, time usually helps, but I wouldn't know what to suggest without knowing what you did to upset your friend. If I had to make a wild guess about what you did, I'd bet there is a girl involved, yes?

You know, you'd probably have better luck posting this in the Relationships forum in the Community area:)

Good call, Flark. I was thinking something along those lines.
When it comes to something like that, there's usually not much you can do. A broken promise that involves a girl is something that most people deem unforgivable... For a while. Time is your best ally in this situation. Make sure that person knows that you're truly sorry, then just give them some time. Aside from that, all I can suggest is that you rely on what you know about said friend and trust your instincts.

Watch the show, "My Name is Earl". Since your freind probably refuses to have anything to do with you, you'll have to work in on the people who deal with your freind on a daily basis. By earning a good reputation with these people word will get back to your freind who will sooner or later give in.

In time, she'll come around. Don't worry. :) Everyone is right, time is your best ally in your battle to win her trust and friendship back. I don't know if stalking her friends will help, with respect to Novaximus. And also I don't believe you'll earn a very good reputation by following them, some people find it irritating.
Prove to her that you really are truly and deeply sorry. Give her flowers, or chocolate, or take her out somewhere. Those are just some things that work with me, but I'm not sure if they'll work for her.
Good luck. ;)
