I'm quite new to roleplay, so if anyone has any tips which would clue me in a bit, that'd be great. :D
By the way, who likes my avatar? I made it myself.
It's hard to see though, it's not zoomed in.

Hello Amazon_Angel.

Yes I like your avatar. If I right click on it and view image, I can see it in it's full glory. :)

The best tip I can give you is to suggest that you do the thing I did when I first joined, which was to read a few of the existing RP's which should give you a feel for how things are done here. There are also usually Newbie Adventure RP's, in which you can join without having to worry about being yelled at for doing things wrong. Kalia and the Roleplaying Sages should be there to help you out if necessary.

If you encounter any problems, or want any more specific tips, don't be afraid to ask as most people here are really friendly and helpful.

See you around...

Yeah, here's a tip. Don't butt into other peoples threads without permission. You are new so I will try and be nice about this.

If you look at the top right of some of the threads next to where it says what page you on, i.e. 1 of 1, there will be a little box with a drop down for going to an OOC page. Before posting in any thread, check to see if there is an OOC section. If so, you need to read what is there. You may have to get a character sheet approved, or it may be for only a certain level of rp'er, as well as (most likely) giving more information about the thread and the story.

In our case with Beyond the Forest's Edge, I'll quote something from the OOC:

This is a two-person RP for Wolfie and me. We might open it to other characters once we get some momentum going - but for right now, just the two of us will be RPing here.

At the very least you should ask before joining any rp that is already in progress.

I failed to mention something. It's nothing personal, but don't be surprised if your post is deleted after Shall and I talk. It's not an attack on you or any relation to what we think your posting ability is. It was simply a the wrong place to start.
