Forums > RP Ideas Interest Query > Werewolves, but not White Wolf

Before I realized what exactly White Wolf was, thank you Caelin, I had posted a topic in the wrong area. It was suggested that I see if it will catch before I go through the bother of re-typing it and having it moved to the general forum. So, here goes...

The basic outline:

My character is a Lycan that has left a Virginia pack that had some members go wild, breaking the ban on eating humans. He has headed north into Vermont where he found a very secluded small time town. The idea was that after his arrival, he finds out that there is a clan living in the town. The goal of the line, in my mind, was for my character to decide whether or not to stay. If so, finding his place in the town (work, home, ect...) and possibly challenging for leadership of the clan.

My primary character:

Logan Richards is 23. He's never had a serious relationship, and despite beeing part of a pack, he tends to be solitary. I'm hoping that if this thread picks up, there will be a character that will be able to change that. Further info., he is just shy of six feet tall, short brown hair, green eyes, and very well built.

Characters wanted:

Humans as townspeople; Some ideas, and some may be lesser roles so you may want more than one, a bartender, a grocery store owner, a mechanic(automobile).

Pack members; Someone needs to be the current leader.

This is open to pretty much everyone. I am new to the site, but not to rping. I would like to have a good mix of male and female characters and I can take other roles to fill in some of the gaps. I'm sure it goes without saying, but please post questions and interest here.

sounds interesting, i wouldn't mind playing the female or whatever, (if that makes any sense). What sort of races will their be apart from humans and Lycans, if any? Also are there any rules within the pack. Sort of things that can and cannot be done?

I wouldn't put it 'the female,' but yeah it makes sense. I'm not really sure about other races, I'm not looking to start a war. It is, generally speaking, more or less modern day Earth. As far as Pack Rules, for the most part, they would be up to the pack leader, whom ever takes that role. I only ask that they be posted on OOC and that they are realistic. I wouldn't want something like 'No chasing someone elses tail.'

Something I forgot. I do adhere to my own guidlines as far as what a Lycan can and can't do. I will post in full detail in OOC if we get that far, but it is reletivly simple things. For instance, can change whenever, but must change during the three days of the full moon. Also, you wouldn't have to change fully. EX.: grow claws to slash, put on added muscle to intimidate someone... And please, no super wolves. I really don't want to see fire balls and lightning. There can however be a healer among the pack. That is something that isn't really far fetched. Keep in mind, the setting takes place in a very wooded area, so it leaves room to roam in fur.

bah getting my point across isn't one of my fortes, people know what i mean but my choice of wording isn't the best.
when you post the details and stuff i'll add my character description, and then wait till more people, (hoping there will be more) before posting.
i know what you mean by super wolves. Twisting things so that your character can be invincible, they should have some sort of weakness otherwise its kind of pointless. Don't worry i shan't be having a fireball throwing Lycan!

It's all good, but I suppose unless a few more people show interest, it's not going anywhere.

You know, ordinarily I wouldn't join a newbie thread (nothing against newbies, just prefer they prove themselves first), but for you I'll make an exception. Because it just so happens that I have a werewolf character that doesn't get used much (the previous thread she was in died...no fault of my own). I would love to use her again.

You would be very welcome. And I understand the need for someone new to prove their skills. I assure you I'll try to give my best. I'll probably wait untill Monday yet and go ahead and start. I'd like to have a little more backing, but it's possible that the thread will speak better for itself to draw interest.

It isn't monday, but I'm going to go ahead and start up the thread anyway. Perhaps the entries will spawn intrest. It will at least start with three of us.

It's been labeled Which Way is Home
