I post on other forums and have had no difficulty with the sig settings. On this Forum not only can I not find the place to make my sig, I can't even see other people's sigs. Methinks somethings amiss

Not everyone, myself included, has a signature, so that might be one problem you are having. About making a signature, I think that they have been shut down temporarily, though I am not sure if they were reopened yet.

Ok, it sounds like they are shut down still on this portion of the forums. I went to the sig. test thread, and didn't see any sigs, so I guessing someportion of the forums is broken or overloaded.

Signatures are shut down in these FFRP forums.
