((Ack how could i have ever doubted you creative abilities o great one *bows mockingly before alexia* Though it seems Keo has lots of competition for Christine's love. Now we have a new character, a vamp maybe, who also wants her. Cool!))

Keo laughed at her discomfort, “You know as best I do.”
“You know I love to tease you!” he grinned at her, getting up and walking over to her. But the smile was wiped from his face at the sudden change. The night seemed to chill and Keo wrapped his arms around himself, shivering, desperately trying to keep himself warm. He could see Christine was in the same predicament so he stood besides her and wrapped her in his warm embrace, taking comfort from her closeness. Resting his chin on her head, being a good deal taller, he sighed, “What’s happening? It has to be the necromancers damn them! Can’t they leave us alone for once.”

His fingers brushed the hilt of his dagger as he stared into the distance, watching the necromancers cold power grip the land. Smoke poured forth from the castle walls, “I think it best we go see what’s happening over in the castle. Something’s obviously wrong and I want to find out what!”

OOC: Well competition in love is the best thing sometimes…keeps the game- fun! Mahwah!

IC:
She could feel his anger rising which kept the heat there. Her body was freezing over and if they remained still long enough they could possibly die. She frowned at the option and looked up at Keo. She wanted to slap a smile on him with his determination but felt it best not to. This was life or death. Sighing she nodded her head, looking towards the castle and began walking forward.

((i'm not sure if the castle's on fire but if it wasn't suppossed to be it is now))

Keo ran ahead of Christine, ignoring her for the moment, as he neared the castle, he could see just how bad the fire was. It smelled of sulfur, and Keo knew that the fumes that spewed forth could be deadly. So removing his shirt he tore it in two, dousing it in water from the water nearby which the people were using in a desperate attempt to control the flames. One of the torn pieces he gave to Christine, instructing her to use it to cover her mouth and nose. The other piece he used himself, “I’m going in!” he mumbled from beneath the wet cloth, “Stay here please. I don’t want you in harms way.” Before she had a change to respond he rushed to the entrance and dashed inside. People gestured wildly at him, telling him to go back but he pushed on. He didn’t know what made him do it. But something drew him forward, something about that fire wasn’t natural and he wanted to find out what.

By the time he reached Christine’s room, he was almost chocking, fortunately the fire appeared to be at the other end of the castle and had not spread this far but the fumes still reached him, and he gagged beneath the rapidly drying cloth. He could see a figure standing there and he walked towards it blades drawn.

((bah Keo's not normally this stupid - Running into a burning castle, not too bright))

OOC: Kudos more adventure! Please feel free to do more things! Mwahaha… J

IC:
Christine nodded and followed his instructions. People shoved around, closing in on her- the guards pulled her out of the crowd and showed her a different route. Not thinking too clearly she followed anyways, the crowd reaching further from the distance, shivering. It was nice to feel the heat against her body, but the guards quickly ushered her the opposite way.

Taking one moment to look at the guards, she widened her green eyes, wanting to scream but couldn’t find the voice to do it. One guard in black waved his hand in front of her face as Christine frowned, removing the cloth to speak. “What’s the meaning of all this?” Her voice was low and threatening, keeping her guard up. She wanted to take out Keo’s dagger- grunting softly she remembered it was gone when she changed attire earlier this morning.

Looking back at the castle, a loud bang came her ears before turning around and blackening out.

~*~*~

The figure moved out of the shadows, nothing came indifferent except soot on his shoulders. He could breathe the sulfured air and see the young lad gripping a weapon. “Put it away boy. I have no need for your stupidity. Tell me where Christine went and you shall live.” His voice was low and in a growl. If needed to defend himself, he would gladly kill this boy. He looked back, ancient dark eyes glittering menacingly off the flickers of oncoming fire.

“Put it away boy. I have no need for your stupidity. Tell me where Christine went and you shall live.” The shadow said, voice low but Keo grinned, seemingly undaunted, “Being prepared is not being stupid. But now don’t be a fool, do you really think I’d tell you where she is? Shame on you; no threaten all you want I don’t fear death, not now that I’ve lived life. Never presume things stranger, it will be your undoing!”

Keo re-sheathed his blades, and held out his arms, “There stranger I have done as you asked now it’s your turn to do as I ask. Answer me these questions; did the necromancers send you and what do they want? Answer me if you choose to, I feel you owe me an answer but you may not. If you do not tell me I shall have to leave and that may lead to my death. No stranger, whether you know it or not, I’m more useful to you alive!” Keo looked at him fearlessly; he had long since banished fear, since the time in the caves.

There came a glare as he stepped out from the shadows. He was twice Keo’s size, giving three times Christine’s. He was well built and there was no smile across his face. “You fool! If you left her alone those damn fools are going to take her!” Gritting between his teeth he quickly flipped his robe and kicked the burning door down. He was angry at the boys stupidity to leave the girl alone. He wasn’t too exceptional to the criticism of being a Necromancer.

“You fool! If you left her alone those damn fools are going to take her!” the stranger cursed and for an instant Keo was confused but it was instantly replaced with anger. “Do not speak of things you know nothing about. I may have been wrong but I presumed it safer to leave her in the midst of a crowd than bring her into a burning building with me.”

Keo followed the stranger out of the door, “why do you care anyway? Please tell me you don’t love her as well! And who are these people of which you speak. You are in league with the necromancers are you not so who else could be after her or am I wrong in presuming that?”

OOC: Ash, just wanted to let you know, I’m leaving for a week tonight, I wont be able to respond until the 11th of July. Thanks!

IC:
He wheeled around on one foot as wood started to crumble next to him. “Love her? They don’t love her. They love her power.” A scowl came across his dangerous face as he brushed back he long black hair with thick fingers. His eyes searched the floor and then looked up at the dumbfounded boy. “Let’s get one things straight, don’t compare me to such ignorant fools called Necromancers. You don’t know what you’ve done. You’re going to be the death of her one day.” Turning around he kicked the wooden block and made his way, walking flawlessly towards the exit.

((s'ok i think i've got a friend over from Dubai coming at some point soon so i will be posting less often, (she is staying here for a week or so)))

Keo looked at him, hatred showing clearly in his eyes but it was not directed towards the stranger, “I didn’t ask whether they loved her, I asked whether you loved her. So then if you are not in league with them, what were you doing in Christine’s room?” It was a simple question, one he would answer or not, Keo let the question hang. Closing his mouth he followed the stranger, not trusting him but having no other choice.

OOC: I’ll be back on Sunday- not sure when but I’ll be checking again on this Sunday!

IC:
“I don’t have time for your foolishness or your arrogant questions. You love her, she loves you. That’s all that should matter.” With that, a grunt escaped his throat as they reached the exit and he peered out to search for Christine. He could feel her presence as it was traveling- her sleep was the only thing keeping him unsure of her location. Night was cool against his flesh as he looked out, eyes wide and grinned at Keo.

Black dust soon clouded his body as he shape-shifted into a black bird, setting off to find Christine.

Keo did not return the strangers grin but glared at him in response, watching as he shifted into a black bird. Keo looked at him in exasperation, how was he to follow now?
“Great, you know you make things very difficult for me to follow and I’m determined to follow. Also I’m not afraid to admit that I need your help to do so!” he shouted to the bird above him.

Grabbing the reins of the nearby horse, he leapt astride it (I know very conveniently placed), and tried to follow the stranger, I don’t care if I make a complete fool out of myself I have to find her.

OOC: I’m back!

IC:
He listened and in an echo response to his mind he replied: ‘Follow the white wings. You’ve seen the angel- follow them. If you truly love her, you will find her! The bird flew off towards the distance where the sky didn’t darken but the night was pure and starry. He was trailing the Necromancers solemnly, ducking low and mixing in with a few of the other black birds- losing Keo’s trail.

“See, I told you! All you had to do was be patient Mathias!” A toothy grin came from the elderly Necromancer. Mathias gave a grunt in arrogance and agreement. He looked down to see Christine stirring softly. Her brow frowned together as her green eyes slowly shifted to where she was. She was nothing more than a mere light weight, almost feeling fragile under his brute strength. She tried to shove him and didn’t succeed. She then seemed flustered when she pushed hard, he held her harder- breaking in his own victory and her weakness.

“Come child. No need. You are safe.” The elderly Necromancer scratched his scruff of a beard and looked down at her. Her mind was clouded with thoughts that had no ending. She was questioning him in her mind and he smiled, reading it and her expression. “Rest, you have a nasty blood clot on your head.

~*~*~

Christine woke with pain and vibrations coursing through her body. She couldn’t move and when she did, it felt horrible as Mathias held her even more tightly. She screamed out in her mind for Keo but her mind went hazy from a headache. The Necromancer spoke and when he did is sounded of nothing but a slurring blob. She could only hear rest. As if is made much sense the haziness swept over as she thought of Keo, holding her and keeping away any danger. Yes, danger...

((Yay!!))

Follow the white wing. You’ve seen the angel- follow them. If you truly love her, you will find her. the voice called in his mind and Keo cursed silently, how was he to find this angel he’d never met? Maybe if he was lucky, something would appear but he doubted it.
Keo watched as the stranger disappeared off in a flock of similar black birds, disappearing from sight. He stayed for a moment, perched atop the horse, racking his brains in an attempt to understand the strangers words.

Christine was in panic and shock. She was lying on a black marble alter. Her lip quivered as she bit on it to remain calm. She looked up and saw a small light, candle light to be that. She looked around, green eyes desperately searching- nothing. She swallowed and laid down, watching the candle come closer. She glared at it, watching it come towards her and then it was gone, but the smell remained...

~*~*~

Mathias was in a tizzy himself, waiting in the graveyard. The cold air seemed appropriate as he waited for any sight of movement- he would surely kill. The graveyard died down- no fog, no light, darkness. The stars were his only light, he grinned.

Keo sat for a long time but no matter how he tried he could not understand the stranger’s message. He knew of no angel nor of this white wing? or perhaps they are one and the same in which case why did he say ‘them’? Is there more than one angel? And why couldn’t that damned man take me with him in the first place instead of leaving me to puzzle of riddles. I’m of no use like this!, cursing loudly he set of for Nat’s home where he ordered him to set about arranging spies around the city. He doubted this would do any good as he had used this ploy against the necromancers last time. They wouldn’t fall for it again yet Keo could not sit there and do nothing.

OOC: Hey I got my own website! Check it out it’s: tantalusbellus.proboards51.com

IC:
“Come, time is now.” He old Necromancer cooed softly to Mathias. He reluctantly turned around and headed inside the death rooms. Christine was asleep and the only thing she would have been able to see was that candle trick taught by many Necromancer’s before hand. There was a book, large, thick and dusty book. A spell book. Mathias folded his arms and watched for any movement Christine might have. They wanted her to sleep.

The old man quickly looked at her, raised his arms, and flipped the thick pages, dusting them off to read the old script. When he found the right one, his arms were raised once more, eyes closed, body relaxed. A white light flashed from Christine, starting with the center of her throat. It grew throughout her body as Mathias shifted her body into a ‘T’ form. Once done, he stepped back to let the old man do what needed to be done.

Christine’s soul emerged from her body. It was in an angelic form as it continued to rise, separating from her body. Once this happened, Christine would be pronounced dead by all. As for her spirit, it was captured in a small vile and pocketed to the side of Mathias. Mathias grunted and picked up Christine’s body, carrying her to the doctors.

It was a plan. Christine announced dead throughout the city and reigned under the Necromancers. As Mathias carried her body, he held it out so everyone could see it, their eyes wide with concern.

((sorry it took so long i have been busy and have only had time to respond to a few threads being a very slow typer))

Keo was talking with Nat when one of his younger lookouts entered the room, he instantly identified him as Kaimi.
I think theres something you should see boss! he said, his expression grave.
What is it? he asked urgently, but the boy refused to say any more on the subject. Leaping from his chair he followed the boy as he lead him through the winding streets. Around him the villagers looked cheerless. Gone was the normal hustle and bustle that normally surrounded the place and in its place a silence descended over all who stood there.
What is it? What arent you telling me? he cried but Kaimi, shook his head and beckoned him with his hand as he moved towards the tall column. Slowly he pointed to the figure their

Keo froze as he read its words, no! It cant be, not after all weve gone through. Tears started to trickle down his cheek as Nat reached them, wordlessly he looked at the pillar and moved towards Keo to comfort him but Keo just shrugged him off and stood their shaking his head slowly in disbelief. Its not true! he whispered mostly to himself.
Im so sorry Keo! Nat said but Keo ignored him,
Who brought her here? he asked the crowds and they described the figure that had held her aloft proclaiming her dead, the necromancer! he snarled. Keo reached forward and picked up her body, ignoring the crowds startled looks, What are you doing? the asked and Keo smiled sadly at them,
Im taking her where she belongs! he responded before walking back to his home.

When he arrived there his parents stared at him in shock but he shrugged them off, promising to explain everything later. Walking up the staircase he turned right at the top and entered his own room, placing her on his bed as he entered. Nat followed him into the room flanked by Loki, Nik, Griffin, Brash and Trina.
What now boss? they asked and Keo grinned at them, before speaking one word.
Revenge!

((i hope i got this right?))

OOC: Welcoming back! You're always right! <3

IC:
Christine shivered. Not her body- her soul. The inner being. Everything that made her, her. She was gone, lingering in a cold and desolate place. The room frightened her and at the same time she kept a solid face. She was bound by shackles. Not shackles given to humans- the kind where they rip your body from your soul. Pain started burning in her wrists but soon the pain vibrations felt like numbing sensations. There came another burning sensation. Someone was toying with her body. It hurt as a spirit, she could feel everything as if it were going on. The spirit let out a sigh. Soon she would be claimed as a ghost if her body wasn't returned within a four days time. She had three. The Necromancer's were impatient though their faces were tamed...

They were waiting for that. Her body. Once she became ghost there was no turning back- she would 'haunt' people while her body became their toy with their mind. They could awaken her and rule the throne as they pleased. She would become the pawn she was destined for...

"Captain." Orsk called out. His broad shoulders and rather large frame stood out amungst his soldiers. Captain Yale turned his horse around to meet the Giant General. "Yes." He called out. "I have word that the Princess has died. Shall we continue on?" The Captain thought about it. Though Orsk was known to be a General and give orders, he stood back and asked his father many questions before making his next move. "My, the Princess is dead. Where is her body?" Orsk thought about it. "Rumor has it that a boy stole it." "Good Spirits! Isn't that girl already in pity?" The Captain ruffled his white beard, it had been a day since last he'd shaven. "Do you know the boy's name, General?" Orsk was dumbfounded. "It starts with a K. Shall we move on?" "Yes. Head for the city. I have something special to ask of you.."

Orsk bellowed out the commands, watching as nearly 4 million soliers marching on, humming their sole song. Orsk looked at his father in the left flank. "Captain. What is it?" Orsk came out bluntly. The captain turned. "I want you to lay low. Find this man and return the girls body. We shall intercept it and give her a good creamation. The most we can do for that beloved girl." Orsk nodded. He pittied the Princess but it came to him she was nothing more than a brat. Another rumor snagged his attention- hauntingly beautiful...

Christine let out a wale, her voice carrying down the blackness. She moaned loudly as the pain became unbearable. It drained her and her light. She was bright. She was. Her color faded to a dim, still she did not let go of her mourning. "What's wrong little one." A voice cooed from the darkness. Again, Christine waled out. She wanted her body. This wasn't fair. "Shh." The voice continued on. Large droplets cascaded down her dim cheeks- tears. Ghost Tears. She waled in a high pitched tone again, this time no echo. "There there." The darkness said. "There's no use crying over spoiled milk. My name Warden, what's yours? Been here for nearly 14,000 years!" Christine stopped, her color draining. "There there, you will get use to it." The darkness cooed once more.

"I want my body." Christine said finally. The darkness seemed to nodd. "There is no use anymore. You can befriend me!" He saild cheerfully. Christine feel the vibrations drain her soul. Soon she would wander this place with her 'friend.' The darkness seemed to smile as it surrounded Christine.
