The dusktime skyline was purple beneath the carpet of black sky and luminescent stars. Candlelit rooms poured light out into the darkness illuminating the cobbled streets as people went about there closing there shops or opening up there premises for the nocturnal consumers.

In the cold evening air the pirouettes of smoke from chimneys spiralled upwards into the sky were the moon was visible, lit up by the tri-suns. The quiet of the night meant the sound of bards playing out there hearts in crowded inns and taverns could be heard.

On the Avenue of Wizards where the street was lined with tree's from far off corners of Faerun as it led up to the large tower that stood overlooking this quarter of Westbridge. At points along the length of the astheleticaly pleasing street standing against premises of business as well peoples abodes, were the shadowy figures who stood among the darkness gained from the alleys and small pockets of blackness in front of buildings.

The slim man looked from the street he had been gazing at back into the bar room where he sat, the patrons of the establishment were not the normal rawkus mobs found in the working half of Westbridge, but instead they were generally merchants, scholars, clerics, mages and philosophers.

They would sit perusing the books stacked neatly whilst conversing with other learned drinkers, who would sip wine from crystal glasses.

Looking around at his enviroment the slender man absorbed the scene, commiting it to mind and all its participants.

Sitting quietly and comfortably alone at the far end of The Netheril and the Scholar, the spectator viewed the swarthy figure robed in the habit of a holy man. Smiling at the discovery, Senerel finished his glass of elven wine before fluidly moving from the beautifuly carved chair he had just sat upon.

Confidently striding across the large open room of the intellectual Tavern. Senerel sat opposite the man whos face was covered by the shadow of his wide brimmed hat as he relaxed reading an unknown written work.

"Well Met Young Cleric" Senerel spoke with an even tone that carried a slight accent of his heritage from Cormyr.

Damien tipped his hat to the man sitting opposite him. "And to you, also," he replied. The surroundings of the tavern were more plush than he was used to, but it was by no means an unpleasant surprise. He took a sip of mead and smiled. "How may I be of service?"

A smile grew across the face of Senerel at the invitation to elaborate on the reason he was sitting opposite the young cleric.

"Well young Damien our meeting wasnt merely by chance, more effort on me and my brethrens part in fact. I have been following you for some time for you appear to be unknowingly part of a bigger plan"

Looking around, Senerel made sure of his and his new companions privacy before continuing.

"The has been planar, cosmic and populace movements over the last few weeks that are inline with prophesised events that in there singular are small....insignificant but together could signal the coming of something terrible"

Taking to looking at the tavern and its drinkers to eleviate any paranoia, Senerel looked back at the green eyed Cleric.

"We arent one hundred percent sure of all the connotations as all of the necessary knowledge is still in transit from the sites of there discovery. Our most gifted sages have met untimely ends before there gift could gleam anymore than what we already know"

Looking past the dark skinned Cleric at the barman who looked over and nodded.

"Young Damien, I know your meeting of me is sudden and in part baffling but I ask for your trust and for you to follow me as the agents who move against us move already, We must leave for our safety"

Senerel slipped from his seat opposite Damien towards the bar where the barman had lifted the counter..............................

Damien felt a tinge in his chest as a smile passed over his lips quickly. He took another drag on his cigarette and, looking to Senerel, said, "If you have been following me, then you know that this sort of thing isn't much out of the ordinary for me." Damien arose, finished his mead and followed Seneral, wondering what trick the Dark Prince had up his sleeve....

Moving through the opening in the mahogany counter Senerel strided into the kitchens at the rear of the elaborate drinking establishment.

White marble worktops gleamed as the chefs prepared exotic meals from far across Faerun. The artisans of food didnt batter and eye lid to the strangers moving through there place of work.

Senerel opened the large steel door at the rear of the kitchen, its mechanism fluid as if the door was weightless. Through the portal to the outside world the slender man stepped his cloak flowing behind him.

At the rear of the Tavern extended a lavish and exquisite garden, in the centre of the beautiful scene rose a synthetic waterfall. Its wonder not hindered by its creation by magics. Heady scents from exotic plants filled the cool air as Senerel walked briskly towards the waterfall.

Looking around before negotiating the grey granite that the waterfall was created from, Senerel walked through the flowing water and into the darkness beyond.............

Damien followed the man through the plush garden, almost feeling bad for smoking in it...almost. Damien was quick to step through the portal behind Senerel before it closed on him.

The teleportation spell ended with the signature rush of air and tug on there physical bodies as they rematerialised in thick tar-like darkness.

The air was cool and fresh within the midnight bleakness, Senerel spoke quietly words of archaic power that brought about the creation of magical light.

As the light increased in intensity and filled the once dark void it it was possible to see where the spell of transportation had delivered them to, a masterfuly crafted corridor of ancient architecture that bore an age of misuse as dust and cobwebs covered the length of the white and black flagstoned surface.

Senerel turned to Damien

"Are you still ready to follow me and trust me, For now the time has come to learn the scale of which is to be asked of you?"

Damien paused for a moment, looking at his newfound surroundings. "I didn't come this far for idle banter," he said, a smile forming of his lips. "Tell me, what task am I to perform?"

Senerel smiled back at the confidence that the Cleric demostrated so readily.

The cloaked man turned and signaled for the cleric to follow him

"I will take you to view what we have in our possession as well as meet our men of knowledge"

Walking briskly along the corridor before turning and striding into what appeared the solid marble wall............

Damien watched Senerel passed through the "wall with the greatest of ease. "Illusions," Damien muttered as he followed suit.

With Damien following behind him Senerel walked briskly along the narrow corridor, the architecture was perfect as if it had just been created by the dwarven smiths.

The marble corridor slanted towards the left as Senerel walked along its length.

Fifteen minutes passed as he walked in silence

Natural light could be seen as they neared the end of the descending corridor. The light became blinding as they moved closer to its source, from the position at the corridors entrance it was possible to see a monolithic hall that rose up on both sides and stretched out into the distance. Both sides were tiered in what appeared like steps but were in fact seating for tens if not hundreds of thousands of people. At various increments along the walled sides were steps that reached into up into the balconys.

Senerel lead Damien up a set of the stairs to the third tier were he moved from the stairs into the body of the seating. The chairs were of red suede leather and dark ebony wood, on the suede embossed in cream leather was a small harp.

As Senerel sat, the sound of movement from the very rear of the huge hall echoed as precessions of people moved from large steel doors and slowly filtered into the various delegated seating areas. Various races were among assembled parties...........

On the other side of the huge hall the same was occuring

Thirty minutes passed as the hall filled up, the commotion came to an end as the large doors closed silently. In the channel that separated the two sides walking from an opening to the left came a group, the height of there position made identifying them impossible.

Silence fell over the hall as the group stopped and looked around at the assembly to address them. Instantaneously in front of all attendees manifested a small crystal ball with its view being centred on the group standing between what appeared as two huge stone waves that erupted around them.

Damien watched the spectacle intently. Even with all the supernatural wonders he'd seen, never had he witnessed something so beautiful. But despite the beauty, he could still feel Grazz't watching like a vigilant guard.

The group arrayed stood while one of them spoke, his voice could be heard everywhere within the halls confines as if by some feat of magic. The voice speaking was clear to everyone who sat spectating as it became translated before its arrival at listeners ears.

The orator was cloaked in dark folds of leather as he stood looking down as he spoke.

"You all know why you are here" The voice was booming and commanded to be heard.

"We as the free people of Faerun are under threat, our lives and destiny may not be for us to choose any longer if we do not move to quell the rising threat that threatens to engulf us all"

The hall erupted with the talk of threats and implied epic size of the danger.

Humans, Elves, Dwarves and all present races spoke among themselves in tones of panic and anguish.

"Fellow Faerunians this situation is grave but we must not deteriate into panic for we must unite and take the threat head on"

From the opposite tiers shouting could be heard...........

"How can we fight a threat that you havent even disclosed details about?" The words were filled with panic driven venom. The halfling prince gesturing aggressively as he spoke to the cloaked creature.

The cloaked spokesman turned and spoke in perfect halfling

"Prince Anafor, the responsibility of the disclosure of such details was to be taken by my friend...............

(OOC: Sorry for the delay)

Damien nudged his companion's ribcage slightly. "I think that's your cue."
