I didn't want to fill the OOC section of The Traveler's Rest with this topic, so I just started a new thread. :) Caelin explained how to do italics, bold, underline, etc. but said there's also a way to put some colors in. Can someone put a cheat sheet here on how to do all that stuff? I don't want to get obnoxious with it when posting, but the plain print sure could use a little sprucing. Thanks ;)

THe easiest way to put color into your text is this...

[font color=*Insert color name here... IE Red, Blue, Gray*] only replace the [] with :) K?

Same goes with font sizes.... [font size=*insert number here*] I normally only alter one point in either direction of what is already set here on the consortium, which is font level 2.

also I think there is one in the general discussions... a whole bunch of different things you can do... I don't have time at the moment to play hide and seek, but I'll look when I get home from work. :) That help?

Whooo boy, I've not finished my 1st cup of coffee yet, so let's see if my brain cells can rattle together enough to try this.

Purple
Blue
Red

And if I want to do a couple together, do they have to be under separate thingies?

That'd be great if you could find that listing in General Discussions - I poked around all over the place for something but wasn't able to find it. ;)

Drat, coffee's cold...

HEY! How come my RED came out green??

I cheat and use the auto code link at the top right of the text window. Its kinda bulky but its efficient.

Shallandra

Ohh, I guess I can impact the color by using this. Well, that makes it easier! RED

Okay, I know what I was doing - I actually put in the * when I think you meant for that to be a space.

Ah - Hello!
Could anyone tell me how to turn italics, bold or underline OFF? (Affect only selected text.)

Kalia_Majere

Enter Text Here

That will work...only remove the spaces between the It will look like This

Its the same for bold or underline, just change the 'I' that I have there, and replace with either B (bold) or U (underline)

That help?

OoOOo you can do shades of colors?? I love the LIGHT PURPLE

Well pooh, the light purple doesn't show up so well on a black background!

for color shades, you may find using the auto code link easier...

See??

Shallandra

Color Shades
Light Purple So you have to put the code in first, then type what you want?

And it automatically shuts off the previous color?

Woops, that 2nd sentence was supposed to be light green. Hey - there's no Auto Code thingie when you're in Edit Mode.

Why doesn't the Role Play NOW! section have the bold, italic, and underline buttons? All of this html is confusing and tedious.

The RP NOW Forums will have the same options as the other forums when they get upgraded.
