Why the battlefield? Well, to put it simply there are people who like to just sit here and write out battles against each other. It's not roleplaying but a form of roleplaying. A good example would be the WWE forums out there.

RPing battles can not only be fun but it can help you hone your battle wirting skills. So use this forum for such purpose. If you want to hold a tournorment then do so. If you want to have a referee to judge hits and death, go for it. :) All up to you. Use the OOC thread function to set up your battles or tourneys. :)

Hmm. Pretty good idea. I'll try to start something, but does the thread have to be fighting pvp or can it be a big battle we are all in, like Helms Deep. :P

Up to you. It's basically for rping battling without a direct plotline to follow. To recreate a battle from historical or fantasical events would be cool too. :)

I think that we need an OOC thread for these topics also. Just a suggestion.

Oops. My bad. I thought I turned that feature on for this forum. It's on now.

Question: Just how many of you people battle with actual character bios? I'm planning on starting an 'inter-forum' RPB tournament. This battle will involve 4 RPers from a number of forums. Each forum will have two teams, and each team battles two-on-two. So far there MAY be about 6 other forums participating. It'd be great to have you guys involved too. :)

I just needed to say... I was reading through all the battles.. and I have only rare seen more pathetic "fights." It was laughable.

(And yes, I do have the experience to make such a judgement. Back before MSN Chat was a pay feature, I was undefeated - having won over 300 battles, and I was a member of other online-based freeform RPs before that... been doing it for over 10 years. So.. I spit in your general direction, people.)

Now, now....let's be nice...besides, it's not going to get better if they don't practice!;)

At least you have soon more pathetic fights then.

I don't feel as bad now. :)

I know some fellow freeform RPers who, after like 10 years, still aren't very good at writing out combat. So whether or not they'll get better is a matter of opinion.

Glad I could help.

Perhaps the learned one should give a demonstration of the proper way to do things then, it would certainly be more productive (and hygienic) than spitting in public.
