So I'm new and I just wanted to know how things are done here. I've done some minor roleplaying on other forums, and lately I've found myself craving a little more. So here I am. I have a character in mind, most likely applies more to Fantasy than the other genres, so what should I do? I'd like to jump into a game as soon as possible!

One character? Bah, you can have as many as you like!
Games, hmm? Well, I'd recommend trying out the Training Grounds RP here in this forum first, just to warm-up, so to speak. After that, well, browse the forums, see if any topics interest you.
At the risk of being attacked, I'd recommend Fernwood Festival in the Dragonlance RP forum, it's a certified newcomer-friendly thread, especially made to help newcomers sharpen up and work on interacting. Not to mention we only have three members posting at the moment, besides me, so you're not really gonna get lost in the shuffle!:D

Hodilly-Doodilly to you too!

Glad to have you aboard.

It's a great feeling isn't it? If you're really into free form rp, I bet it doesn't go away for a long long time...

Cheers.

AvA, I'm not going to attack you, but I am going to say that if one has never rp'd before, then they should run amok in the Training Grounds first, just to get some friendly pointers and learn how things work.
