I'm thinking of starting a thread somewhat like Fernwood, but set somewhere like L.A. Sort of a welcome thread, where characters can be introduced, or have some sort of home.
Any problems or ideas to be brought up would be greatly appreciated.

This is an interesting idea...
Could you be a little more specific though?

I was thinking of a big city setting, with maybe a coffee shop or apartment building being the main focus, and characters could meet their, and people could get more of a feeling of this forum, and a good thread for those that already know. I have basic post all written, but not with me right now. I'll do my best to get back to you.

This sounds interesting. :) It sounds like a good way to break in a new char or give an old one new life. I'll have to give it a try when you start it up. ;)

It sounds like a great idea! I'm in :) Is there any specific kind of character you need?

Nope. Treat this thread like fernwood. Anything you want.
(I just need to find the original post I had written. I left the paper in the car. :P)

Cool beaners! I'm going to think of a few chars to play. This is going to be fun. I'll post as soon as I got something written. :)
