…The falling rain flowed in rust colored rivulets amongst the sodden earth churned and torn by the passing of a massive behemoth of metal and glass that had carved great gouges out of the earth and snapped through trees with its final lurching journey. The lightning flashed, a vicious primal thing, like the teeth of some great predator waiting in the darkness to tear pale flesh from the bone.

The twisting water ran its way in streams until it came to the twisted wreckage of a car, once black and white, now covered in mud its wheels skyward like some great beast dead and left to rot in the night, smoke lazily rising from its broken chassis.

The smoke struggled valiantly against the torrential rain, snaking its way through the shattered tree-line before settling itself in a haze around the now smoldering crash site. Broken trunks rose shattered from the broken earth like long forgotten skeletal fingers trying to reclaim their life once again. All about lay the portents of death.

Almost twenty meters from the wreck of the patrol car rested the hulk of a coach its silver metal and now shattered windows exposed to the night sky as it rested on its side, the front panel torn away and lying almost forty meters up the embankment amongst the ruined stumps of the trees that had slowed its course before its own weight and momentum rolled it viciously.

Nothing moved amongst the scene. No sound breached the eerie scene save for the monotonous drone of the rain, its constant pattering a monotonous drone that buzzed in the back of one’s skull, and the squeaking screeching sound of one of the bus tires as it spun slowly on a broken axle grinding metal against metal…

* * *

…Pain.

A seering, blinding pain then a spiral into nothing.

A numb feeling. A sickening memory swirls into view a wall of silver and light, the words ‘greyhound’ then again the darkness…

* * *

…Something stirred amongst the wreckage. A twitch of a trembling hand, then the sudden shudder of wakefulness and the long, painful intake of breath. With a groan of pain, a figure dragged themselves to their knees, fingers clawing their way through mud with a slow determination. Clotted blood ran anew from a wound at the temple as the figure dragged itself forward, heavily favoring his right hand side, through the mud before pulling themselves slowly up along side the wreck of the black and white..

Another pain-filled, shuddering breath and a staccato of coughs wracked the figure as they looked around the scene, gingerly raising a trembling hand to probe the throbbing pain of his head injury.

Blue eyes surveyed the scene, looking for any signs of movement or for anything that could help. Nothing. Sweet Jesus. He blinked rapidly to clear the water from his eyes as he struggled to remember what had happened minutes earlier.

The rain had soaked his dark hair and he ran a hand across his face and through his fringe to clear his vision. Sucking in his bottom lip against the pain, he ducked and looked back into the patrol car…

Rexx opened slowly her eyes and found herself staring at the bloody face of the guy that had been sitting beside her during the bus trip. She suppressed a scream whilst memories of the crash bloomed in her mind. She had been drinking and listening to music and then it had happened, sudden and unexpected. She didn't remember much about it though, she had lost consciousness very quickly.

She pushed the lifeless body of the poor man aside and got up to a sitting position. Her mind still clouded, her head aching badly. She touched her temples and her fingers met something wet and sticky. Blood.... She examined herself the best she could and found out that she was unharmed. She had only a deep gash in her upper arm and a smaller one on her forehead.

She figured that the wounds had been caused by the bottle of whiskey she had been drinking. The bottle had been smashed in the crash. The glasses were all around her, some of them were buried in her flesh and the carpet stank of alcohol.

She closed her eyes. There was no talking, no shouting, no crying, nothing but the noise of the rain outside. Maybe they are all dead she thought shuddering. She didn't really want to open her eyes again and face suffering, death and disaster. But staying crouched between the seats wouldn't help. She knew that for sure, but that knowledge didn't give her any courage.

Finally she did it. Not knowing where she was or what had happened was even worse than her fear. She staggered to her feet and looked around. Her eyes widened in horror. It looked like the bus was lying on its right side, people hung half out of the shattered windows with their bodies half severed, others lay on the floor or across the seats in unnatural positions.

Rexx felt the panic grow inside her and try to suffocate her. She had to get out. It was not possible to get out through the doors. She had to crawl out through one of the windows pushing one of the corpses out of the way. The storm was raging and she was soaked even before she finally got out. She sank to her knees and threw up. The fresh memory of what she had just seen sickened her deeply. She didn't want to open her eyes and see the bodies again.

She stayed on her knees until her stomach had settled again. Her long blue hair stuck to her head and her short skirt and sleeveless top were torn and bloodied. Shivering and cursing she got to her feet. Someone in the bus could be alive and in need of help, but she didn't want to get back inside, no, she just wanted to run away, as far away as possible. And then she wanted a drink, a large one. Oh yes, she could kill for a drink.

She saw a movement with the corner of her eye and turned to see what it was. She noticed the wreckage of a patrol car and a dark figure. A man...
"Hey you... Are you alright?"

Chara woke up, the taste of blood in her mouth. She was lying quite uncomfortably on the roof of the patrol car, the seat above her. The metal cage of the back seat designed to keep those under arrest from harming the officers had sustained the general design of this part of the car, and thus kept her from the better part of harm.

The nineteen-year-old let a small moan escape her lips as she tremblingly pushed herself off the ceiling with her hands. What the hell happened?! She wondered to herself as she looked around the interior of the cop car. Oh yeah… she sighed to herself, recognition and memory flooding back to her.

The rusty smell of blood filled her nostrils and she realized that somehow the silver ring that usually adorned her right nostril was missing. She found it lying near her on the ceiling, a little bit of flesh and a lot of blood surrounding it. She shifted her weight to her left hand, raising her right to her face and touching her nose gingerly. The ring had been completely ripped from her nose, and there was a split where it had pulled itself out. She looked at the wire wall in front of her. It must’ve come out when I hit the cage, she realized as she took a ragged breath, a sharp pain rolling through her as she did so. Damn it! She swore out in her own mind in pain, quickly putting her hand on her side.

“Officer…” she began, pain numbing her for a moment. “Somebody, please…” With those words, Chara lay back down, her strength running out as all the numerous bumps and bruises made themselves apparent.

David was jogging back to the wreckage. He always sat near the emergancy exit on a bus, always. It had finally paid off. He reached the bus and patrol car. He ran to the patrol car kneeling down,"Hello! Is anyone in there?" David looked up at the downpoor hopefully there would be survivors.

Chara looked out the window, barely being able to see through the cracked safety glass to beyond the patrol car. "Yeah, help me out of here!" She said as loud as she could. "The pack of this dam cop car's got me trapped!"

Rain dripped in through the shattered windows on the bus, landing on a teenage girls face.
drip...drip...drip...
Mark...please let me rest....I'm in a lot of pain
drip....drip....drip

Becky scrunched her eyes closed tightly and then opened them slowly. It took her a moment to realize where she was. She was on the bus...not at home where her stepfather was. She sat up and winced in pain. Her head hurt, as did her wrist. Aside from that, she seemed to be fine.

She looked around her, and saw what had seemed like a horrible nightmare moments before. The wreckage that was the Greyhound bus. She slowly rose to her feet, the rain seeming to come down harder now, if that was at all possible. That's when she noticed woman outside, a fellow passenger with long blue hair. She was calling to someone, but who it was, Becky couldn't tell.

The young girl gingerly made her way around bodies and out of the bus. Once out, she looked back, and wondered how she had made it through that crash. She shook her head, and winced in pain once more. It hurt to do that. Raising a hand to her short brown hair, she walked up to the woman with the long blue hair.

"Hey, are we the only ones who made it out of there alive?"

Rexx turned slowly hearing a voice. She noticed a young girl and managed a faint smile.
"There are a couple of guys over there... Maybe there are more in the bus, but I don't really want to go back inside..." she glanced shortly at the wreckage and shivered. "Let's go talk to them... We need to get some help here..."

She bit her lip and brushed her wet hair away from her pale face and after a short hesitation she started walking towards the patrol car. After the first steps she realized that she was barefoot and remembered she had taken her boots off in the bus. She looked down to her feet and watched the rain wash the blood away. She was feeling sick again, but she took a deep breath and tried to ignore the bad taste in her mouth.

Her legs felt soft like butter but she forced herself to walk on, her eyes wide open and fixed on the patrol car and the two men who stood close to it. After what felt like ages she reached the car and put a hand on the shoulder of the man who looked like a police offer. She opened her mouth but could not speak, so she just bowed her head and waited for the man to look at her and say something.

Drew looked around at the wreckage inside of the bus. He had only been awake for a couple of moments when he remembered what had happened and began to look around. Death, death everywhere he looked, he had to get out of there. He felt some pain in his head, he remembered that his head had slammed against the window when the crash began. As he looked around he saw blood and bodies everywhere, yet no place big enough for him to get out.

Being much bigger than most people he had to find another way out. So in his panic he started to rip out seats and punch out the windows so he could get out. He didn't care about the bodies or the blood that he had on him, he just wanted to get out of this horrible place. Soon he had made a hole big enough for him. He jumped outside and fell to the ground. The blow had made him clumsy.

He then stood up and looked down at some of the people who had seemed to have made it from the crash. He then looked further down to see a police car turned over. He followed the 2 girls who went to the police car. He hoped that he could help in some way yet, he didn't know how. He just waited until someone talked...

David shouted back to the girl,"Hold on I'll get you out." He went to the front making a note that the girl was in the back. He slammed his feet into the window his shoes squished against his wet socks. After several tries he managed to knock most of the glass away. IT was then he felt a hand on his shoudler.

He turned,"Great, more people survived. I might need your help getting this girl out one sec," David crawled into the car window. He looked at the gate. One side had been almost completely knocked out. He pulled on it and bent the already bent fence back.

He dragged himself closer to the girl,"Alright, now let's get you outta here." David scanned the cop car looking for the best way to get the girl out.

Chara sighed deeply and mumured a few words of thanks to the man. "Well, if you have that blasted cage a little dismembered, then I think I might be able to crawl out the way you came in, with a little help." She managed, fighting the urge to not say that last part--she hated to admit when she needed help.

Becky followed the blue haired woman over to the cop car. She took her time, finding it difficult to move in her soaking wet jeans. Thankfully her black combat style boots were water-proof. Her black shirt was torn in one place, and also soaked through, but she didn't care. There were people, living people, and they needed help.

As she and the other woman got closer, she noticed that there was somebody trapped in the back of the cop car. She also saw that the cop and another man were trying to get the woman out. She was relieved to see more living people out there. It had been really creepy waking up in a bus full of dead people.

"Hey, what can I do to help?" she asked as she got to the cop car.

…The police officer jumped as he felt fingers on his shoulder, looking to the two figures which materialized out of the gray wall of rain, cut and bleeding and pale, like the ghosts of the dead hungry for the life of the living. He stared for a moment and then started, shaking his head and touching his fingers to his temple as a wave of nausea threatened to force him to empty his black coffee and toast. He sucked in a breath and looked to the women, the lightning flashing and illuminating the lettering BLAKE on his badge.

“Are the two of you alright?” He said, his voice raised against the drone of the rain and the sudden ominous peal of thunder. His eyes scanned them quickly looking for any serious injuries, he held hands up and made eye contact with the blue haired woman.

“Just wait here a moment. My partner and someone we were transporting are still in the car. I’ve got to get them out. Are there any other folks that need medical attention in the bus?” he said over annunciating the words in case the woman was in shock

The officer fought the sickening dizziness he felt as he bent low and looked back within the ruined cabin of the black and white. He sucked in a ragged breath and crawled inside, seeing the others as hazy apparitions in the cold, angry night. The windscreen glass crunched like bleached bones upon the cabins roof that now was soaked with water.

He looked to his partner behind the wheel, his eyes wide open and staring sightlessly as his head hung limply, twisted at a misshapen angle, the shattered collarbone and spine at the base of his skull pressing sickly against the paling flesh and blue black stain of broken blood vessels. The figure shook his head and swore to himself.

”Hang on I’ll see if the locking release is still working.” He said to the other man, as he pressed a button on the patrol car’s console a few times, swearing again to himself at the lack of any reaction from the broken vehicle. He tried the radio but all was silent, the water trickled in through the broken windscreen, runnels of water winding their way into the cabin across the console dashboard.

“Damn! You'll have to crawl out of there and through the front, think you can manage that Ice?" he asked the young prisoner in the back of the car. "Can you do me a favor miss? We’re going to need the aid kit from the trunk, and the blankets and the storm weather gear. What’s your names?” He said as he leant across his dead partner and gingerly removed the keys from the ignition and handed them to the blue haired woman.

He glanced over his shoulder and then once more at the prisoner and shot her a reassuring smile that he hoped looked more confident than he felt and pulled himself back out into the rain looking at the bedraggled figures, straightening his uniform with a wince and then zipping up his windbreaker, and adjusting the collar to cover his exposed neck and checking his sidearm.

“Okay, I need you to do me a favor.” He said to the big guy with a glance to the woman working the key in the trunk as he ran a hand though his hair to keep the water from running into his eyes. I need you to help get that cage open and get Ice out of the back of that car. I’m going to see if there is anyone who needs help in the bus.” He looked at the man, trying to judge whether he had understood or not…

“Damn! You'll have to crawl out of there and through the front, think you can manage that Ice?" he asked the young prisoner in the back of the car.

Chara heard Officer Blake's voice and grinned slightly, nodding her head. "Yeah, I can manage if you can find me a way out of this damned cage you like putting me in so much!" She growled, flashing one of her infamous glares with a sigh. She listened to the rest of his ordering around of the others and smiled back at him, which was a rare occurance in itself, though she had a beautiful one. Hmm, she thought to herself as she waited for the big guy to tear her a hole in the cage, he's trying awful damned hard... but then, chaos is a cop's element... putting it back to order.

Rexx blinked and cocked her head to one side.
"Yeah... I am alright... I think..." she muttered.
She looked around trying to focus on the figures around her. They were trying to help a girl trapped inside the police car. She wanted to be helpful too, but thinking and moving seemed to be almost impossible.

She kept staring at them until the officer put the car keys in her hand. His voice woke her from her temporary trance.
"My name's Sexxy Rexx... Not so sexy right now though" she answered attempting a smile "I will get those things for you".
Slowly she went to the back of the car and tried to open the trunk, but her hands were shaking so much that she let the keys fall. She cursed under her breath, took a deep breath and tried again.

It was hard, the rain made the keys slippery and her hands were so cold that she barely could move them. She gritted her teeth and concentrated on the task. Click. She finally managed to open the trunk. She took the blankets and the first aid kit and went back to the front when the others were still trying to free the girl.

She looked down at the blankets that were getting soaked and shook her head. She let them fall to the ground and spread her arms wide and started laughing hysterically. The blankets had to keep people warm and now they were cold and wet. She kept laughing, then she sank to her knees, braced herself and started crying.
"Give me a drink, please give me a drink..." she hummed on the edge of madness.

"Ok then I'll do that. Stand back." As he said this he reached in with his left hand. He gripped the cage and pulled. The cage seemed to want to stay in place and then after a couple tries he wrenched the cage off.

He then threw it out onto the ground. With his right hand he offered his help to the lady named Ice. "You need some help Ice?" He waited to see if she needed some help.

Chara nodded her head to the man as he pulled the cage loose. "Nah, just get out of my way and I'll be fine," she said, flashing a glare in his direction before climbing out of the back of the car, climbing over the dead police officer without so much as a pause and out onto the pavement. She turned then, placing a hand on the downed officer's heart. "Blessed be, Smith," she murmured before standing up and straightening herself out.

David moved back falling near the dead officer. He wasn't used to dead bodies but in the situation he didn't have time to be scared. He reached down unsnapped the gun and checked to make sure the safety was on before he placed it between his belt and jeans. He hoped the cop didn't notice. In this storm somethign was sure to happen. He pulled out the shotgun and handed back to Blake.

He crawled out,"Does anyone have a cell phone. Mine broke when I hit the ground," he kept out the fact he bailed early without warning anyone. He didn't want to worry anyone. He was glad at least one of the cops had survived. At least this would all be behidn them as soon as the storm cleared.

Becky shook her head at the man's request of a cell phone. She had ran away from home, and left everything except for the money she saved up for this trip, and a backpack of clothing.

"Sorry dude, can't help you," she said. "By the way, I'm Becky."

She rubbed her hands on her jeans and held her hand out to whoever would shake it first.

"Uh, are we the only survivors of this wreck?"

He moved back as Chara got out. He then looked at all the other survivors. He noticed that there weren't many. Atleast your not all alone. He thought to himself then, noticing the one named Becky was holding out her hand.

He looked down at her and smiled. "Hi, I'm Drew, but most people just call me Tank." He then grasped her tiny hand and shook it.

Drew looked over to Chara. "I'm not sure. Last thing I remember was being on the bus, then...." He couldn't finish the sentence, remembering the gruesome inside of the bus was too much for him right now. He then looked around at the others to see if they had any ideas.

Becky looked at everyone. There were only a small group of them, but that didn't matter. At least they had been lucky enough to survive. She started back to the bus, patting Rexx on the shoulder as she passed her. The blue haired woman looked the most shocked out of all of them.

"I'm going to get my bag from out of that wreck over there," she told everyone. "My money is in there, as well as some clothing."

The young girl climbed back into the bus, and made her way back to where her seat had been. Her backpack was right where she had left it. She grabbed it and started to make her way back out. As she left the bus, she took one more look back at all the dead bodies. She couldn't believe how lucky she had been.

Just before she turned away from the sight before her eyes, she saw movement. Or she thought she had. Becky shook her head, and blamed what she had seen on nerves. She rejoined the group, shouldering her bag as she neared them.

"Well, we should probably find a place to dry off, eat, and call the cops," she said. "No point in us waiting around here. Officer, do you know of any place nearby where we can go?"

David looked down the road. They had been heading for that town, (*insert name here), "Well, I guess we can walk the rest of the bus route. We'll get pretty soaked but at least we wont get lost. Unless you have a better idea?" He ask the officer.

...The officer walked back to the group, the bottom of his uniform sodden with mud and water as he made his way, ashen faced from viewing the carnage that was the silvered wreckage of the coach, now broken and battered and lying like some long dead behemoth on its side.

The rain plastered his hair against his forehead and he scrubbed a hand across it, wincing a little as he brushed the purpling bruise that covered his temple and made his head pound with the monotonous rhythm of his own heart beat amplified by the steady jolt of pain. Out of habit Blake adjusted his slippery grip on the shotgun, making sure he had a tight hold of the weapon, the hair on the back of his neck was standing on ends and an eerie feeling had crept into the dark reaches of his thoughts.

He looked across the others in the small group and noticed that more than a few of them were looking to him for some form of guidance, though his own head was hazy with the events and his heart was hammering in his chest, Blake forced himself to remain calm and took a deep breath, looking over the crash scene once more before looking back to the collected survivors.

“Hamilton’s the nearest town from here, but there is a farmyard about a mile down the road, the old Henderson place, I think. We can use the phone there. I guess it would be somewhere dry and at least out of this damn rain.” He said, his voice loud against the drone of the rain as he watched to see the reaction from the other survivors…

Chara stood a little apart from the rest of the group, her arms crossed against her black tank top. The shirt said something to the effect of ‘I hear voices … and they don’t like you’ plastered in white, zigzagging script across the front. Her tanned arms were bruised and cut in various places from her too-close encounter with the inside of the cop car and her loose, baggy black jeans hung loosely on her hips. Ice-blue eyes peeked through wisps of ebon hair to watch Officer Blake return to the group of survivors.

When he mentioned the Henderson place, Chara merely shrugged. “If it’s a mile away, we’d better start walking… I don’t know about all of you but this damned rain is driving me insane…” She said, looking at each person in the group for a moment before her eyes returned to Blake.

Seeing no one else move, she broke free from the group and began walking towards the farm that she’d stolen items from more than once in her life. Her arms remained tightly across her chest and she shivered slightly as a drop of cold rain ran down her arm. She did not look back to the group, but kept walking at her naturally-quick pace until she almost disappeared in the darkness. She hated just standing around, no matter what the reason.

Becky looked at the rest of the group. If there was a farm nearby, then they had to get moving. She watched as Chara walked away from everyone and on down the road. Shaking herself, she ran after the woman in the black tank top.

"Hey, wait up!" she called out.

She was panting and trying to catch her breath when she finally caught up. Noticing the other woman shaking with cold, Becky opened her bag and rummaged through it while walking. She found a sweater and offered it to Chara.

"Here, you look like you could use this," she said.

A dark-skinned woman appeared, wearing a shirt and ragged jeans instead of her usual purple robes. To make up for this, her shirt was purple tie-dyed and read "Thread-Enders Inc." on the background. Jazara grinned malevolently. It had been a while since she had thread-ended.

"I hijack this thread in the name of Thread-Enders Inc.!"
And, went busily to her thread ending. Unfortunately for THESE particular teenagers, this was going to be like every single slasher-teen movie starting with people going towards a farmhouse in the middle of the night.....

The group reached the farmhouse near midnight. As was usual with horror-movie teens, they barged in after knocking once. David tried the phone in the kitchen which, of course, didn't work, while the rest sat around whining.
"Ok, the phone doesn't work." he said, playing Mr. Exposition for the moment.
"So what are we going to do now?" whined Random Whiny Teenage Girl.

"Well, I would say that our best bet is to start running around in circles screaming and waving our hands over our heads. Then somebody dies, we all go looking for something, absolutely do NOT turn on the lights or use any semi-practical weapons. We WILL split up, and be offed one-by-one, ending with the guy who predicted something bad would happen, and only the most visually appealing now-reformed teenage girl will live."

At that moment a random creepy child jumped out of the cupboard.
"I see dead people!" it screeched.
"Agh! It's the Ominous Seeing-Things child! Everybody freak out!" David yelled, freaking out.

The kid stared at him.
"No, seriously, I see a dead guy over there."
He pointed and they all noticed that one of them had been killed.
"Oh. Whew." David whewed.
"But I'm the Ominously Seeing-Things child too. Run around in circles screaming time."

"Aggh!" they aghed, running around in circles screaming, while the serial killer fruitlessly tried to get their attention from where he was standing by the dead body, revving a combination chain-saw and serial killer knife he'd found in the sale-bin at wal-mart, which actually was a bread-knife. Unfortunately the knife went out of control and cut a hole in the serial killer mask and he collapsed on the floor shrieking.

After about five minutes they stopped running around in circles screaming, while the serial killer writhed around on the floor howling, unnoticed.
"Okay, so now what do we do?" Ominously Seeing-Things Child asked.
"I have no idea. I'm Mr. Exposition, you're the Ominously-Seeing Things Child."

Jazara grinned gleefully, hoping fellow Thread-Enders would come help her end the thread.

Eliar Swiftfire appeared with a POOF! "Well, I've banned Lucas from ending any thread for the next two weeks because of this rather tasteless action in the 'Pawns of Darkness' thread. So, yeah, just go on with what you want to do. And I'll officiate things here."

Nat appeared with a black, menacing POOF! "SIMILARLY. LEGOLAS HAS BEEN SENT TO A SANITARIUM AFTER SUFFERING MENTAL TRAUMA FROM PARTICIPATING IN THE SAME THREAD. I HAVE THEREFORE BEEN DISPATCHED TO PLAY THE PART OF GENERIC HOROR MOVIE MONSTER THAT IS INVULNERABLE TO STABBING, BURNING, DROWNING, FALLING FROM HIGH PLACES AND BEING RUN OVER BY HEAVY, FAST MOVING VEHICLES. THIS MIGHT BE BECAUSE I AM INDEED INVULNERABLE TO STABBING, BURNING, DROWNING, FALLING FROM HIGH PLACES AND BEING RUN OVER BY HEAVY, FAST MOVING VEHICLES."

It turned to address the assembled people. "SO WHO HERE HAS HAD SEX? ACCORDING TO HORROR MOVIE CONVENTIONS, I AM OBLIGED TO KILL ALL SLUTS AND STUDS, SO OWN UP NOW, AND I'll MAKE YOUR DEATHS AS PAINLESS AS I CAN."

"SO WHO HERE HAS HAD SEX? ACCORDING TO HORROR MOVIE CONVENTIONS, I AM OBLIGED TO KILL ALL SLUTS AND STUDS, SO OWN UP NOW, AND I'll MAKE YOUR DEATHS AS PAINLESS AS I CAN."

Almost all the people in the room mumbled something to the effect of "Well, crap" under their breath, including the serial killer, causing the three people who didn't to step back.
David, Ominously Seeing Things Child, and Random Whiny Teenage Heroine, the three people needed to play hero, though one of them, probably David would die-
"Crap." David muttered
-or Ominously Seeing Things Child would turn out to be evil and die-
"Cr-Wait, what movie did THAT happen in??" Ominously Seeing Things Child demanded.
-shut up, it just does, you aren't supposed to be able to hear the voice of exposition-
"But I'm Mr Exposition!" David whined
-well, not anymore, for crying out loud, I'm the bloody flippin' VOICE of exposition.
"Hmph." they both Hmphed.

"OKAY. THAT'S GOOD."

David, Ominously Seeing Things Child, and Random Whiny Teenage Heroine,

"NOW YOU THREE START RUNNING, AND WHICHEVER ONE OF YOU TWO GUYS WANTS TO LIVE HAD BETTER MAKE SURE YOU COPULATE WITH THE STILL VIRGINOUS HEROINE IN AN ACT OF INTIMATE, MEANINGFUL, AND SAPPY GODWAFUL LOVE, OTHERWISE YOU BOTH DIE AND SHE LIVES TO GET CHASED AROUND BY ME IN THE AWFULLY OVERBUDGETED AND MEANINGLESS SEQUEL. DAVID, I GUESS THAT MEANS YOU GET TO LIVE IF YOU WORK FAST, SINCE NO CHILD SEX IS ALLOWED ON AMERICAN PROGRAMMING. TOUGH LUCK KIDDO."

Then Nat turned to address the rest. "RIGHT, BEFORE I KILL YOU GUYS, I'M GONNA HAVE TO ASK YOU TO TAKE A GROUP PHOTO, KAY? COS I LIKE TO HAVE A MEMENTO OF PEOPLE I'VE KILLED, IT GIVES ME A NICE, WARM, FUZZY FEELING INSIDE. SO I'M GOING TO PUT THE CAMERA HERE... (takes out a small cylindrical object with a blinking red light and sets it on top of a table in the room) AND YOU GUYS JUST SMILE AND SAY 'CHEESE' OKAY? GOOD!"

OOC: Owing to management edict, operation terminated. Operative extraction commencing. A_A, you'll need to provide your own exit line.

BIC:

Nat felt his insides go queer. The whole room seemed to shimmer, then it found itself and the 'camera' being drawn away into another dimension.

"NOT GOOD." It said to itself. There was an explosion insde the field, but when it faded away, nothing was left behind.

Wow, I really like how, A_A who hasn't posted in the Middle Earth Thread which she started in several days but finds time to hijack some old thread. Two thumbs up!

Sorry, but I DO have a life. I had nothing helpful to contribute to the Middle-Earth thread, so if you have nothing helpful to say, why say it?
And I'm thread hijacking to try and get back into the RP "groove", FYI.

First of all, I never said you didn't have a life. I was saying you were spending your time unwisely by hijacking an old thread rather than posting in the Middle Earth thread.

Nothing helpful to contribute? The Blue wizard's last action was working in the mines. Have him talk to other people down there. Play a prison guard to add a little conflict. Or were you waiting for Maxus to approach him?

Your other character's last action was going to Fangorn. Guess where three characters are? Fangorn. Your character could walk by the cave making noise just by walking through the forest near by. Caelin and I would then leave the cave and see what made the noise.

And I would say taking control of old characters such as 'David' in this thread and then using a few of your own characters to do absurd things usually ending by an explosion of some sort is a bad way of getting back into the "groove," however, if it does indeed work I look forward to your next post.

I apologize for being so rude, Flandrake. I've been having a very, very bad week, and so far the weekend isn't any better. I will post in Middle-Earth, try and help move things along.

Oh, come on. We're thread enders. It's what we do. If Arandur had come back and asked me to leave the thread alone, I would have deleted my posts and obliged. He didn't, so it was fair game.

But he hasn't said that it is okay to hijack the thread either, so don't do anymore to it. Yes, the Thread Enders do exist still, but due to Chungs new rules, we are not allowed to hijack unless given permission from the person that started the thread in the first place.

Yes, but we hijacked it before it wasn't allowed (or at least before I was aware of the no-hijacking policy)

OOC:

Er. Remember to put 'OOC' above all OOC messages, remember we are RPing here.

On the other hand, I can see Flan's point, and annoyance with A_A not contributing anything to her own site, and hijacking another instead. Your responsibilities and obligations, no matter how, are with the thread you've started, or have joined. One of the reasons why Thread Enders ever started was because I abhorred the whole 'start a shitload of threads, then NOT finish them. Doesn't matter, even if me have tons of threads hanging around, me still wanna start shitloads of new threads again' trend prevalent among many RPers.

OOC: Oops, knew I forgot to do something in that post.

Anyway, A_A, did you intra-mail Arandur? And have you tried to send a normal e-mail to him? The reason he may not be posting much right now is probably related to whatever reason goddess_dawn has for not being around too much these days. They both have a huge event they are trying to plan, and it might be that they've finally set a date and are working on that, instead of frittering away countless hours here, as the rest of us do.
