OOC: Okay, this post is after the war of the lance, but before the summer of Chaos. Anyone is welcome to join. All three sisters have already been filled. But here's what we absolutley need.

***NOTE**** PLEASE POST ANY AND ALL OOC's In the thread thats entitled sisters OOC. Thanks!

-villagers who agree to chase down the women
-villagers who decide to flee with the women
-A loyal servant boy
-a second in comand to the gnarled old man who i'll introduce later. This should be a white robe qualinesti.

People filed in by the dosens, packing the small building that the small town of Asroth called it's city hall. A befuddled old man stood at the front, his gnarled hands resting atop of pedastool. As the doors closed, the man took a deep breath. What he had to say tonight would not be easy.

"Friends." He began. "We have lived in this small town for years, and every year we have been blessed with enough crops for our families, enough jobs for everyone, and happiness. However, it has come to the attention of the town council that our benefactors have turned against us.." He took another slow breath. "We have eyewitnesses that say that the three ladies of Asroth have placed a curse on us! They have brought upon this terrible blight! They are the reason we have people dieing in the streets from hunger and starvation."
The people began to mumble amongst themselves. The three ladies had always been very kind to them.. Always.
"What we must do is clear... we must destroy these three witches, and rid our land of the curse that they hath wrought upon us!"

Upon a hill sat the most magnificent house the towns people had ever seen. It had three clearly defined wings, and at night one could see the light of two of the moons on two seperate wings. It was clear that the ownsers of this house were very blessed. The third wing stood cold, and sent shivers up the spine of any on looker. One could feel more than see the black light of Nuitari shining upon it.
A small fountain sat in the courtyard, which made a very relaxing trickling noise. People from all over the town would come just to sit in front of the small spring.
A small grove of trees loomed around the fountain, protecting any traveler from harms way. It had been whispered in days past, that the sisters had placed a spell of protection upon the fountain, that could ease pain as well as relax a weary travleler.
The three sister's were all blessed with the calling for magic. One from the white moon, one from the red, and the last from the black moon. Each sister had her own wing, filled with possesions and magical artifacts that they had collected over the years.
The sisters were of elven decent. Qualinesti by way of Palanthas the eldest was apt to say on many occasions, however they were all outcast from the elven society. They had come to the small village of Asroth and helpedit grow and flourish. Never had the three been so happy.

Grivalantas, or Riva as her sisters called her wore the white robes. She had long blonde hair, and warm brown almond shaped eyes. She was a bit tall for her race, a wopping five feet, but just as slender.
She had just awoken when she heard the sound of something slamming against thier front door. Riva glided out of bed, putting on her slippers, and went to awaken her other two sisters. Stopping in the foyeur of thier home, her eyes opened at what she saw through the wide window. The field outside thier house was in deslation. Small fires blanketed the once green grass, and the trees that surrounded thier beloved fountain had been chopped down and were being used as a ram to open the thick oak door.

Riva closed her eyes and whispered a prayer to any god that was awake this early. "Please protect my sisters.." She whispered. Chanting a few words, she cast a magical baricade over the door, to give her time ot awaken her sisters. She went to the red wing first, and tried to shake her sister awake.

OOC:

Name: Jerilathalusa (Jeri)
Race: Female Quailnesti Elf
Age: 210 years old
Eye Color: Deep Brown
Hair Color: Pale Blonde, Long, Straight
Skin Color: White
Height: 4 foot 8
Family Origin: Quailnesti
Alignment: Neutral-Good
Rank: Red Robed Mage of Lunitari

Background: Jeri, like her two mage sisters, is originally from the elvenland of Quailnesti. However, because all magic besides that of good is outlawed by the elves, Jerilathalusa was disowned by her parents and banished from her homeland for being a devoted follower of the goddess of Neutral Magic, Lunitari. Jeri took her Test of High Sorcery at the age of 110 and has gained power as well as many atifacts and keepsakes in her travels and studies.

Appearance and Personality: Jerilathalusa stands at a slender 4 foot 8 inches and has pale blonde hair that, when worn down, hangs straight down her back. She has smooth flawless skin, deep brown eyes, and a charming smile. Jerilathalusa is usually soft-spoken, but tends to have a biting sense of humor and a quick temper. Being of neuttral beliefs, she prefers to find a common ground in most issues so that everyone is happy.

BIC:

Jerilathalusa, or Jeri, was having quite a peaceful dream when she felt hands shake her roughly. Turning over with a grumble and opening her eyes to reveal deep brown pupils, she saw her oldest sister standing over her.

Getting up and retrieving her blood red robe from the closet, she ran a hand through her pale blonde hair. She was about to ask Riva what her problem was when her ears caught the sounds of alot of noise outside.

"What in the name of Lady Luni is all that?" she muttered in common.

Angelanthas had been standing at the window of her tower. She looked over the destruction of the fields. The black robe had been studying all night, as she was known to do.

Her black robes contrased dramatically with her golden blonde hair and richly brown eyes. The middle child in the family, Angel was always a problem child. Especially when it came to her magic. It came as no surprise to her family when she doned the black robes. It was even rumoured among the villagers that the elf was a secret lover of Nuitari himself.

Angel chuckled at this thought. Why, the only secret lover Nuitari ever had was that kendermaid. The elf sighed and turned from her window. She could only guess what the villagers thought.

She grabbed her velvet cloak and wrapped it around her body. Leaving her tower, she whispered a spell of protection over the tower and headed to the red tower. Surely Jeri and Riva were awake now. Perhaps they would know what curse has been set upon the town. She entered the tower and called out, "Jeri? Riva? Are the two of you here?"

Having gone to her bedroom widow to see the reason for all the noise outside, Jeri looked at all the destruction in amazement. She was about to comment to Riva, when she heard Angelanthas enter the tower and call out.

"We are up in my bedroom Angel." the red robed sister called down.

Riva smiled at her sister for a brief second and called down to Angel.
"I think we may have a problem darling. Have you looked out the window latley?"

Riva shook herhead. Humans could be so impulsive sometimes. Not that she couldn't be blamed for being impulsive. She had chosen to outcast herself with her sister's instead of remaining in the stuck up country of Qualinost. Most elves would have betrayed thier family. She was proud to be associated with these women.

"I suppose we could always try talking to them.. but humans never were very easily swayed. Once they get an idea in thier head, it just sits there like ab ump on a log. "Reminds me of someone else I know." She glanced at the door,

"Would you hurry up and get up here Angel? We have to decide what to do!"

Jeri snickered to herself softly and nodded in agreement. Out of the three of them, Angel seemed to be the most hard headed at times.

Angelanthas grumbled to herself. Whispering a word of magic, she vanished from her spot and reappeared next to Jeri. "Yes, I saw outside. I was actually awake when it happened. I was studying my books when the land turned to fire and ash. It seems a curse has been placed. I do not know how nor why it came about. But I think it would be best if we flee sisters.

"Using one of my spells I listened in on the coucil. Apparently they blame us for this. They think we are the cause of this destruction...

"Humans.... So gullible. They'd believe the world was round if we told them," the black robe said with a laugh.

Riva blinked. The thought had never occured to her. To leave this place that she had called home for so long was almost a barbaric thought.
"I.. I'm not quite sure.." She whispered. "I hear the border around Silvanesti has fallen... Prehaps we can take refuge there? Or prehaps Palanthus?"

Looking back out the window, Jerilathalusa muttered a few words in order to strengthen the doors and windows of her red tower. Just as the spell took hold, more thumping could be heard as the angry villagers remained constant in their attack.

"Whatever we do, we better do it soon. I doubt they will get tired and give up. Human blood runs hot when they think they've been wronged."

"Sister's, I think it's time we open the pathways of magic.. we need to escape at once.. Have we heard from Rachel? Has she come to the estate with the rest? She was suppost to bring us supplies from her shop.. I hope the poor dear didn't waste a trip.."

Riva began to fret as she walked to her sister's bookshelves. Running a loving hand over the red leather bound books she looked to her sisters.

"And we can't very well leave our belongings where the humans can get thier hands on them.. that would just be careless..." She paused for a second..

"Angel darling, do you still have access to that lovely self destructiion spell? I think that if we connect it to the door, we could cause our house to implode, taking all of the magical treasures with it.." Sighing she glanced back out the window.

"Although I suppose that would cause more destruction then absolutley necessary.. Where is Rachel with those supplies?" She ran her fingers through her hair, obviously becoming more agitated.

"I haven't seen Rachel either." Jeri said with a shrug that moved her red robe just slightly. As she watched Riva appraoch her bookcase, the Quailnesti elf nearly groaned. The thought of leaving her beautiful tower and all her arcane belongings was almost painful to the Mage.

Angel's eyes widened. "I am surprised and disappointed in you, Sisters. You think I would destory all our precious things? The villagers think we have placed a curse upon their puny town. So, we shall place a curse on our home. To keep uninvited guests out."

She smiled evilly and pulled out a black book. The book had the symbol of an hourglass embrodered on the front of it. "Here in this book is a spell for such a curse. One to bring the undead, and even some dead, to haunt our home and ensure no one comes near it. Indeed, all of our belongings will be safe from the meddlesome fools."

She opened the book. "Last night as I studied, I found the spell and thought it would be perfect in case of an emergency. Course, I didn't know how big the emergency would be until I looked out my window near dawn."

She looked up at her sisters. She held the book lovingly. It was a leather bound book. And cold to the touch. But it was thick. "What do you think?" she asked in reference to the spell.

RIva smiled. "wonderful! I love it!" Her eyes closed for a second. "How do we begin it?"

Athud sounded from downstairs. The old man smiled to himself. This is the what the women deserved after all. They did lie a curse upon the town..

Avenging_Angel
12/01/2003 5:16 PM

A woman slowly approached the house, wary of the powers of those inside. She knew them as friends, yet she was careful, lest they mistake her for an enemy.

Rachel Arim could never be called beautiful, yet there was a charm to her face which could never be destroyed. Her brown hair was straggly, a similar color to rich mud, and was fine and straight, and her eyes were watery green, while an ugly red mark ran from her right temple to her ear, the reminder of the day she had wandered to near to an angry racoon as a little girl, while a feathery scar marred her left cheek, small, but noticeable.

Her hair was falling out of it's customary loose ponytail, and was plastered to the back of her neck. Her clothes were dusty from riding on a cart being drawn by an elderly horse, laden with supplies. To ensure the fate of her shop, she had handed over to a half-kender she had met on one of the few times she had left her hometown, who also was a wilder mage, and capable of protecting himself. The kender had invited all of his half-kender brothers and sisters, who were coming out of wanderlust, or were to young to be in it, and now tended the store.

She walked up to the house, and knocked on the door. "Riva? 'Tis me. Rachel." she winced at the sound of her ragged voice, with it's slow country accent, so harsh compared to the ladies inside.

Just like everything about her. Harsh.

Listening to Angel's decription of the spell, the youngest of the three sisters nodded slowly. "I like the idea as well. It will minimize the danger to the villagers while still keeping them at bay."

Hearing a familiar voice outside, Jerilathalus replaced one of her books to its rightful place on her bookcase and returned to the window that overlooked the front of the house.

"Rachel's here." she reported to her sisters with a smile. Not wanting to draw the anger of the people outside to their friend, Jeri muttered quick words to a telepathy spell.

Rachel, it's Jeri. We are up in my bedroom in the red tower. Come quickly and careflluy my friend, lest the mob attack you as well.

The spell being sent, the red robe let the barriers on her tower down long enough so that Rachel could slip inside. The magicks that Riva had earlier cast on the main parts of the house were left intact.

Riva nodded, glancing to her sisters.
"Shall we begin then?" She smiled gently. "What components will we need sweety?" She asked to Angel.

=====================================================

The old man walked over the the hooded white robe that until present had been absent from the preceedings.

The old man looked to the white robe. He appeared to be a short human, with a pale complexion that was common among magi.

"Are you sure it was them that cast the curse upon our town?" He asked. The white robe nodded a silent response.

"Do you doubt me mayor Beily?" The white robed asked in a dark tone.

"No, not at all. We asked for your help in the matter. I suppose that's what we got."

"Good." The white robe said. "Have the sister's baricaded the door?"

The mayor nodded. "We think so. We haven't been able to get through."

"What about that human girl that went around back?"

The mayor paused for a second to reflect. "Well.. Quite frankly we didn't see a human girl go around back. Are you sure you're not seeing things master mage?"

"Quite sure mayor.. quite sure." The mage said. He paused ofr a second, touching into the power that was the gift. whispering a few words, he opened his eyes.

"They have barricaded the door.. but not by traditional means.. It is a magical barricade.. One that I cannot touch for fear of alerting them to my presence However if it's the spell I think it is, it's only a temporary fix... we must only wait..."

tassanaburrfoot
12/02/2003 8:37 AM

Still holding the book tenderly, the black robed elf snarled at Riva, "What makes you think either of you could cast this spell? It is a spell that only a black robe can cast. One of much power, but do not worry sisters, you will remain safe," she finished with a sneer.

The black robe walked to the window of Jeri's tower and looked down at the mob.

"Attention all!" she yelled at the top of her lungs. Her voice made a loud booming sound so that everyone around could hear, including the mob below them. "You believe that we have cursed your village. I tell you we have not. Believe me or not. It matters not. For I shall place a curse. A curse on these towers. No one uninvited may come here. Ever again!"

With that, again in a loud voice, she started chanting in inclinations. She held the book opened to the page in one hand. Her other hand was raised to the sky as she called to Nuitari to give her and her spell strength. Apparently, Nuitari decided to answer her call, for she felt the power start to tingle through her veins.

She threw her head back as the esctasy of casting the spell overtook her. Magic, in all it's colours, swirled around her. An unnatural wind blew around the towers and inside them. Everywhere the wind blew, soft groans could be heard.

"Come to me, Old Ones!" the black robe called.

Beings, both undead and dead, started to sprout from the ground. They groaned and howled. They answered Angelanthas's call, whether they wanted to or not. The guardians took their perminant places of guard. Several of the undead and dead started to surround the mob.

"Leave this place or I will allow them to attack you!" Angel shouted to the villagers below. Her eyes caught those of the white robe that stood there among the villagers.

Her eyes narrowed.

As the spell completed, Angel suddenly became exhausted and she crumbled to the ground. Before she fell asleep, she whispered, "We have been betrayed, my sisters."

Just as Angel's spell was finished, Rachel's response reached Jeri. As ahe checked to make sure her exhausted sister was alright, the red robe re-aligned the barriers on her tower after she shopkeeper slipped in, then nodded to Riva.

IC: Riva smiled at Rachel. "Hello sweetie. Give us a second alright?" Smiling she sank to her kneese, and gently whispered a spell to bring her sister to. It wouldn't help much in the long run, but right now they needed her conscious.

Turning to Jeri, her eyes full of worry, she smiled. "As soon as she recovers a little bit we can leave.. I transfered a bit of my own energy to her. Does Lunitari grant any teleportation spells? I fear im too weak to cast one."

Placing a finger to her lips, she wrote the servant boy a quick note.
"Rachel.. I want you to run down stairs and leave this for our servant to find. He will know where to find us.. then meet us by the crystal pond, about a mile south of here.. And use that lovely cloaking spell you used.. You'll have to teach it to me sometime.."

------------------------------------------------------------

The white robe cursed under his breath, and glanced to the mayor with a huff.
"I would advise we leave the premisis immediatly, lest we be attacked. The black robe knows what she is talking about.. I'm almost positve I know where they are headed." He smiled, only his mouth showing over his cloaked head.

"Why is it you are always cloaked?" THe mayor asked the white robe. He smiled.
"I have my reasons.." He whispered.

"For now we only need to travel a short distance.. there is a small grove that's easily guarded about a mile south of there.. I've told our servant to meet us there after he picks up several supplys.. or rather sent Rachel with it." she glanced to Angel.

"Darling, are you alright to travel? THe path ways of magic can be quite treturous(sp?) this time of year. It is Goblin season and all.." She smiled, and turned back to look at her home for the last time.

"Remember Rachel... Head south for about a mile.. And you will find us.. However.." Riva reached under her robe and pulled out a small crystal locket.

"You will need this to get past the Barriers we are about to construct. Once you reach us safely, utter the words "Blessed is she that holds the light.." And it will let you in.."

Looking around one last time, and this time she was sure it was she sighed. Smiling weekly she spoke to her red robed sister.

"Lady Jerilathalusa of the red moon, You may begin your casting." Smiling to Rachel, she nodded to Jeri. It was time to begin thier journey.

Rachel noddded. She had had her suspicions about who would set them up, but she wasn't sure if they were accurate. She was worried about whether she could get past the mob. She took the locket, and turned to them. "May the fire that would burn you, may it burn black with shame." She said, an ancient wishing of well to another.

With that she turned, and slipped outside, still using her minor spell, to be hidden. She went over to the old horse, Dodge, and got onto the cart's seat. She clicked her tongue and flapped the reins lightly, and headed off.

Taking both her sisters by their hands, Jerilathalus closed her eyes as well. Speaking the words to her teleportation spell, the elfwoman felt her blood begin to tingle as the magic ran like quicksilver through her body.

The room of the Tower began to shift and change as the three Mage sisters concentrated on the grove a mile away. Then in a flash of red magic, the sisters vanished from sight altogether. The circle they'd used to teleport from was gone as well, leaving only Jeri's empty sleeping chambers a floor below her lab.

Jeri opened her eyes and looked at her older sisters. Red, White, and Black now stood in the grove they had intended on coming to. "Is everyone alright?" she asked.

Riva looked at her robes, turning to glance at her back half.
"Well dearie, I think so. You don't think I've been put any weight do you? Come to think of it.. my rear does a look a bit more.." She wrinkled her nose. "Round.."

Shaking her head, she glanced around. "I suppose Rachel Hasn't even found our man in the market yet.. How long do you think we should wait for him?"

Angel snorted, "Your rear has always been round." The black robe walked to a tree stump and sat down on it. It was clear she was still tired, but she did not plan on falling back asleep.

She took out her book and opened it with the intent to get some studying in before Rachel came. She whispered the chants to herself quietly until she was immersed in the spells and inclinations.

Jeri leaned against a tree and looked at Riva, "A couple hours at least. We don't know when Rachel will find him, and travel on foot is much slower than by the magical corridors. Between the three of us we will be safe here for a time."

Riva smiled and nodded, puling out one of her white bound books.

"I suppose we should go about setting up barriers.. but first.." She said, smiling.. She pulled out her trusty napsack. The napsack had been given to her by the head of the order of the white robes once upon a time, and was said to be a powerful artifact.

The only thing she found in it was it's large capacity for storing things. Sure, some of it was absurd, but all in all she found it quite useful. Digging around inside she pulled out a small pot for making tea, and a pouch of tea leaves. The only thing she had forgotten to pack were the cups themselves...

"I must have left them on the table last night... honestly you'd think the humans would have given us some notice..." She shook her head, clicking her tounge to herself.

All of her life people had thought her insane, for her actions were not very elf like. She supposed that's the reason she left with her sisters, along with the absurdity of the rules against freedom of choice. Something she believed highly in.

She sometimes wondered if she was a burden to her sisters, and always came back to the conclusion that she kind of took care of them. She felt safe and secure in that conclusion, even if it was an obvious
dilusion.. still, that was the way she felt, and given the choice she hoped her sisters would feel the same..

Suddenly feeilng very down, she leaned against a tree and opened up a volume ofher magic collection. There were some things even money couldn't buy... for everything else.. there was magic..

Noticing Riva had gone strangely quiet, Jeri frowned slightly. She sometimes noticed that her white robed sister would look sad out of the blue, and couldn't figue out why. Sometimes she worried it was because Riva regretted her choice to leave Quailnesti with Angel and herself, but Jeri fought against such doubts.

Being the youngest of the family, the Red Robed elf often felt misunderstood. Being of neutrility as well did not help. She was not as...cold as Angel seemed at times, yet not understanding as Riva either. In everything, she was the personification of balance. Even her emotions.

Pulling out one of her red binded books, Jerilathalus turned to study a barrier spell as she smiled to herself. She and her sisters may be as different as night as day, but she loved them dearly.

So engrossed in her studies, Angel had forgotten time and place. When she finally realized both, she looked up. Standing up, she stretched. "Sisters? Where is Rachel? I want to be off and done with this mess. We are lucky no one has come to try and breech our defenses yet," she said.

She walked to the edge of the grove and looked out into the woods. Her mind raced with the thoughts of the white robe she had seen. Why would he betray us so? We have never done him any harm. We have been nothing but generous and kind... Damn him! she thought. Angrily, she kicked at a small group of rocks, scattering them.

"Damn the Conclave!" she shouted. "Why have they brought this upon us?"

She turned to her sisters. "I saw one of them. The filth. He was at our gate goading the mob to our doors. And he was enjoying himself too. Why do we even bother keeping in contact with the Conclave? It makes no sense. We worship our gods and goddess. We abide by their laws. What do we need the Conclave for, Sisters? They are the ones bringing us this trouble!"

She nearly torn her hair out as she paced the length of the grove. She went silent again as her thoughts pressed onto the mage she had seen. When she got close to Riva, she stopped and stared at her older sister. "He was a white robe too, Sisters," she said in a deadly calm voice before she began pacing again.

As Angel started ranting about the one who had betrayed them. Jerithalus looked up from her own book and nodded slowly. She had seen the same man earlier, and now said as much to her sisters.

"That's the question. We do abide by the Conclave Laws, so why would they send someone to start trouble with us? Unless he is just portraying as a member of the Conclave..."

Riva shook her head.
"I don't think it has anything to do with the conclave.. True it might have something to do with magic.. but I think it may be more of a personal vandetta.." she shook her head.

"Sisters, do you remember Lord Tivutonalas of the white robes of Qualinost? I... I recieved word through mother that a new law had been past.. I didn't want to tell you for fear of firghtening you.." She dug around in her nap sack until she pulled out a piece of parchment.

The letter read;
Riva,
I fear the worst thing possible has overcome Qualinost. With the depatrue of Speaker Gilthas, the people who stayed with us have blamed all of our troubles on the red and black robes. The white robes who have sided on the side of magic, and not with the side of the white robes, have been slated for death.
I fear that they may be after my darilng daughters. . Please take care of your sisters..

Riva sighed. "I never expected they would find us... This being such a backwater town and all... It seems they've decided that the only way to restore Qualinost is to destory all dark elves that have gone into excile.. Our beloved Conclave has decided not to aid us... So it seems we're on our own..."

Angel turned to her sister. "Never once did I say we abide by Conclave law. I said we abide by the laws of our gods and goddess. Screw the Conclave. They can all burn in the Abyss for all I care."

It was evident that Angel was quite angry. So when Riva read her letter, it came to no surprise that the black robed elf sneered, "And you didn't tell us this before? You allowed these people to find us! You are just as much of a betrayer as that othe white robe was. Had I known this was what was intended, I could've cast that spell a long time ago. We could've used magic to protect the village. I know the spells! They are all right here in Rais.... this book!" she shouted, throwing the book in Riva's face.

She still held the book, but it was no more then a hair away from her older sister's face. She took the book back and flipped to it to the spell she was talking about. She held it out to her sisters to look at. "Don't try reading it," she warned them with a sneer. "I wouldn't want either of my sisters to go into that state," she said sarcastically before taking the book back again and closing it.

She started pacing again.

The cart creaked along, as silence pervaded the area, only broken by the clip-clop of horse hooves, as Rachel rode along, towards the indicated groe. She spotted the sisters, and turned her horse off the road. "Riva? 'Tis I. Have you any guards about?"

Listening to Riva read the letter from their mother, Jeri frowned. She was afraid of what could happen to them and angry that this situation was happening at all. She well understood Angel's anger, but took offense to Riva being called a betrayer.

Stepping to the white robes side, she looked at her her black robed sister. "Angel, stop! I know you are angry - we all are - but Riva did not betray us. She was only trying to protect us. Wether or not she should have informed us earlier is unimportant now. Now is the time to come together and figure out what to do, not attack each other."

OOC:Ok, I know its late yet here's the servant boy! Oh yeah and Luni, how do you do the whole seperation thing? Like what I just tried to do. Thanks...

BIC:William or Will for short was like any other boy in the town. He had blonde short hair, he was about 5'7, had sky blue eyes, and was 15. When he was walking down to his masters house he noticed a mob. He rushed forward as the mob broke apart and started to go seperate ways.

He took one of the back doors in and found a slip of paper. "This is not good." He rushed around and gathered what he needed. He grabbed 2 daggers, a sword, some spell books for his masters, and some rations. He also threw the slip in the fire to keep anybody from reading it.

William then took the door he used to get in, out and walked over to the stables. He picked out some horses for his masters and tied them to his horse, who was a brown gelding. He whistled a tune and they bolted into the forest...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A shadow-type of figure slipped in before William slipped out. When William had left, the shadowy-figure transformed into a black cloaked figure. The figure had his hood up so no one could see him. He reached in the fire for a second and pulled out the slip. He took a glance at the slip and threw it back in the fire.

He then transformed again and left. He went to the white robe and told him what he found out. "They are hiding in a grove some miles away, master." The figure said bowing. He then slipped back in to the shadow and disappeared.

"When you need for me master just call to the shadows and I shall answer." The voice said before it faded away...

"This place is now guarded by spectres of another plane.. It would be best if we left and searched the forests."

Angel raised an eyebrow and smirked. "Indeed, you are correct. The mage and his horde of villagers grow near. We should be off."

With that, the black robe whistled. The wind rustled the trees. A large black stallion trotted into the grove. Not wasting any time, the dark elf mounted the stallion and looked at her sisters. The smirk returned to her face. "I am ready, Sisters. Let us be off and away from this gods' forsaken land."

She trotted the stallion in a circle, guiding him with nothing more then his mane. He wore no bridle or saddle. His black hooves were larger then that of a warhorse. His mane was thick and fell passed his shoulders. His thick black tail swept the ground. Indeed, the stallion seemed to nearly swallow Angel in his size. Yet, he was as kind to her as a small kitten. His tail flicked from side to side and he sidestepped in impatience. His eyes, though black as well, held a fiery brillance in them. He was indeed impressive both in size and spirit.

Angel steadied the stallion and patted him lovingly on the neck. The stallion nodded to the other horses as if mocking them. He seemed perfectly suited for the elf. Whether that was good or bad, one could only assume.

"Are you ready sisters? We have already wasted enough time." At that, she clicker her tounge, and the mare began to gallop at full speed.

There stood the perfect elven-sized mare. She had intelligent, warm brown eyes and a red-tinted coat. Even her mane, which was mostly a silvery color, seemed to have red strands in it. The animal nickered at the elfwoman who had summoned her and nudged her shoulder.

Angel mumbled under her breath, "Primitive."

She whispered to her stallion in Qualinesti and the stallion was off. Before her sisters knew, Angel and her stallion was galloping in front of them both. Giggling like a child, the dark elf threw her blonde head back and enjoyed the ride. She had said nothing to the servant boy. She had the spellbook that was important to her, she cared little for the other books.

The stallion thoroughly enjoyed the feel of his mistress's legs around his flanks. The soft touch of her pale fingers and the soft whisper of her voice brought shivers coursing through the stallion's body and urged him to greater speed. As he both heard and felt his mistress enjoy herself, he nearly leaped for joy. Instead, he shoved his hooves deeper into the ground, bringing about more speed and haste.

Angel giggled even more as she brought her head forward and against the stallion's neck. "More," the elfwoman whispered to the stallion in Qualinesti.

Feeling the dark elf's head pressed against his neck, the excited stallion pressed on.

It was amazing to see these two. Billowing black robes and blonde hair along with a black mane and tail whipping in the wind. The two were one in that wild rush. Elf and horse might as well had been a centaur. Turns and twists were made with barely a whisper. Hurtles and obstacles were cleared without even a thought. So in sync were these two, not even the wind could keep up with them.

As the group soared past, in a very shadowed part of the woods, two eyes appeared. Watching them pass by then disappeared. Where the white robes camp was, in the shadow a figure appeared. He walked among the mob and had his black cloak on. Nobody saw his face, he entered the tent where the white robe was.

He bowed then said, "Master, the three and their servant have just left on this route." He pulled out a map and showed him.

"They have also set a trap to try and confuse you. They have sent some other horses a different way. So when you come to the route don't split up." He then bowed and left the tent. He walked back into the woods and disappeared into the shadows...

Racing along with her sisters and their horses, Jeri gasped in sudden surprise as Hearts Fire suddenly started to slow her movement. The black stallion snorted as he felt as if iron had filled his hooves. His pace slowed, yet he worked hard to move faster. His haunches heaved as he dug his heels into the ground. His flanks grew slick with his sweat.

Angel grew angry. She knew magic was at play. And she knew who was playing. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on a spell she had memorized from her spellbook. She started to whisper the chant. As the chant grew to repetition, her voice grew louder and deeper.

Ever so slowly, the stallion started picking up speed. Ever so slowly, Angel broke through the spell the white robe had placed. It was a daunting task and Angel was nearly worn out.

"Bring your voices in, Sisters!" she shouted to the other two elves. "Mathlujb Antpsy'hsynoen baubsbstuebt," she chanted loudly and well enough so they would understand what she said. "Do not fear, it is a spell for all robes, not just those of dark colour. Repeat with me, Sisters! Mathlujb Antpsy'hsynoen baubsbstuebt," she chanted over and over again.

As her horse broke free from the spell placed by the white robe, Angel smiled. "Good boy," she whispered and guided him on at the same neck-breaking pace as she had him before.

The black stallion nearly leaped for joy as he felt his hooves lighten. He whinnied as he felt his haunches dig into the ground to come at a full-throttle gallop that carried him and his mistress across the plains swifter then a rushing river.

"I will not waste my time to turn my robes white, Riva. I left Qualinesti because they nearly forced those despisable robes on me. I have another idea. But both of you will have to trust me on this one," Angel said, sneering at the thought of changing her beautiful black robes to white.

She whispered to her stallion and the horse slowed down to a trot. "We need to make camp. All this spellcasting, first at the Tower, then the counterspell, have both tired me to no end. If I go any further, I fear I shall colapse. Besides, I will need my strength for what it is I have in mind. As will to two of you," she said to her sisters. "My best thought would be to find a place in the woods somewhere and put up a protection spell to keep away unwanted eyes."

She slowed the horse even more bringing him to a walk. The stallion snorted. He hated walking. He sidestepped a little bit and swished his tail from side to side. When the elf said something to him in anger, he stopped. The elf patted him on the neck. This sent shivers down the stallion's spine. So much did he want her. He cursed himself quietly. The curse came out as a snort, of course, but the elf knew the snort wasn't directed at her.

She smiled at the stallion and spoke to him in elvish, "Do not worry, dear. It will get better. I promise." She stroked him lovingly, "We have plenty of time and I have something special on our side."

The stallion nodded in response and nickered. Angel smiled then turned her attention to the matter at hand. She looked at the woods before her and studied them. "Follow me, Sisters," she said as she whispered to the stallion.

The dark elf and stallion led the others into the woods. They found a small clearing just big enough to fit the four people and their horses. Angel jumped off the stallion and made a small camp fire in the center of the area. The stallion laid down and made himself comfortable.

Pulling some quath-pa out of her robes, the dark elf sat near the fire and ate. She sat close enough to her stallion, that if need be, she could lean against him and sleep. The stallion looked hungrily at the quath-pa, but did not make any sound to indicate his hunger. Course, Angel was no fool. She knew he wanted some. But she also knew he couldn't have it. So, she simply ignored him.

Once the girls had made camp, Riva buisily set about weaving webs of protection around the camp. The light of Solinari seemed to show down on her as she chanted the spidery words of magic.

The air began to hum with power, as her pupils closed to mere slits. The intoxicating bite of the magic flowing through her veins made all else seem inconsequantial.

She was the magic. The magic was her. Nothing else existed. Casting the final web, she huffed, whiping a drip of sweat from her brow.

"Those should hold for the night I dare say.." She smiled, nodding at her work. Casting a glance at the eating Angel, her stomach suddenly decided to remind her it was time to eat. Reaching into her pouch she pulled out a sun dried apple- One of her favorite foods, and bit in. She rolled her eyes in the exquisiute extasy of the taste.

A roll of thunder sounded in the distance as she drifted off to sleep.. Confident that the spells would protect them..

Following Angel and her horse into the clearing, Jeri patted her red-tinged mare affectionately as she dismounted. Once her mistress was safely on the ground with her belongings, Hearts Fire made her way over to a patch of grass and lay down. She nibbled on some of the grass contentedly.

Taking some of her own provissions from a small pack, Jeri sat across from her black robed sister and ate quietly. The day had been a long, eventful one and the rest would do them all good.

Following after his masters he dismounted his horse and let his horse graze on the grass. He then went out and gathered wood for a fire that he would build in the morning. Once he had done that, he laid down and ate an apple. Soon afterwards he fell asleep, but not a deep one. He wanted to be able to wake up before his masters and make them breakfast...

Angel nodded softly to Riva. "Let us hope they do, Sister. For all our sakes," she whispered in a raspy voice. Curling up in a ball she fell asleep in the curve of the stallion's side.

As the night wore on, the stallion stayed awake. He watched over the people and their horses as they slept. He watched over Angelanthas as she slept. His mind flew with thoughts of his past. Thoughts of his future.

The stallion nickered at Heart's Fire, but meant very little from it. He suspected she would make a small nicker or something.

The smells of the two mares was strong in the stallion's nostrils. But he had little to no interest in them. They were normal horses in his eyes. No different from most of their kind.

But the stallion was different. He hadn't always been a horse. No. He was cursed into this form. Cursed by Nuitari himself. Were it possible, the stallion would've smirked at this thought. As it was, he made a strange noise that sounded a lot like a snicker.

Here he was, cursed in this form by the very god his mistress serves. And Angelanthas does serve Nuitari very well. The stallion shook his head. As the dawn approached, thoughts of Angel serving him came into his mind. Shivers ran through his body at the thoughts. He shook his head again.

The dark elf stirred at his side. The stallion snorted and nudged her with his muzzle. If they were to reach Qualinesti with no more problems, he needed her up.

As the elf rubbed her eyes, the stallion watched her. "Is it time already, Beloved?" she asked in a daze.

Both ears shot forward at the sound of her voice calling him "beloved." He snorted in response.

"Sorry," she said with a pat. "I forget who you are at times, dear. I should watch my words more carefully. Didn't mean to offend you."

It wasn't that she offended him. It was that, hearing that term brought about dreams and wishes the stallion knew would never be fulfilled.

Angel got up and kicked the ashes of the campfire. She looked up at the sky and said louder, "Sisters, the dawn is here. We should be on our way to the forest. Come now. Up the both of you. We have a long way and I'm sure we will need our study."

With that, the dark elf sat back down next to the stallion and took out her black book. She opened it and started to read and study the words on the pages.

Soon Jeri had fallen asleep. While her mistress slept against her, Hearts' Fire slept lightly, her ears catching the slightly sound. Hearing the Stallion nicker at her, the mare turned her brown eyes to him and nickered in response with a move of her head that could be translated as respectful nod.

Hearing Jeri's sister wake up and call for the days start, the red/silver horse whinnied softly in greeting. This was enough to wake the sleeping red robe. Sitting up and brushing her long bronde tresses from her eyes, Jerathalus stroked her pets mane in greeting and then smiled at her sister.

"Quite right, dear, quite right." Standing up, Jeri stretched to get the kinks out of her muscles. That done, she too, sat down with her own red binded spellbook. As the mage studied, Hearts Fire was content to walk around the clearing - close by - and graze.

Riva was already awake, but had made no movement to let her sisters know it. She found that in the wee hours of the morning, it was easier to clear ones head and think of solutions to problems you wouldn't normally have found during the day.

She listened as her sister spoke to the stallion, and smiled quietly to herself. She listened as her sister 'awakened' them. Sitting up groggily, she smiled at the woman.

"Good morning my dear sisters."

Angel did not look up from her book, but raised an eyebrow to her sister's question. "I will tell you my plan once I feel you need to know. Just trust in me, my sister."

She looked up from her book then and smiled. The stallion flipped his tail and placed his head lightly on the dark elf's shoulder. Some of his tail landed in her lap. It was almost as if he had wrapped himself around her.

Angel patted the stallion on the muzzle. "After all, Jeri," she said with a smile that could have been interpreted as a smirk. "Have I steered you or Riva wrong yet?"

A low chuckled came from her throat and Angel turned back to her book.

The stallion nickered to Angel then looked at Jeri. He studied the red robe with interest. Why the dark elf had chosen the red robes as opposed to the beauty of the black robes was beyond the stallion's understanding. He supposed she did so to be the balance between the white sister and Angel. However, it did not matter to the stallion. He was merely curious.

His gaze then turned to Riva. He always detested white robes. Mainly because he was raised around white robes, but that was beside the point. He found white robes to be snooty and snobby. He snorted and shook his head. It was clear the stallion did not like Riva all that much.

Angel absentmindedly placed a comforting hand on the stallion's shoulder. He calmed physically under her touch. His insides however, shuddered.

"We've dilly dallied enough I think.. Onward!" She shouted, digging her heels into the sides of the horse.

As the three continued toward qualinost the sounds and smells began toy become more and more familiar. In fact Riva could almost smell the foods of her homeland being cooked, and readied for the next day.

Secretly, her mouth watered.

Calling her sisters to another stop, days later, she nodded to Angel.

"we are about to enter the lands of Qualinost.. Any ideas you have would be welcome right about now.."

The ride continued without incident that day and beyond. As they approached their elven homeland, Jeri smiled as she began to reconize the old scents and smells. It was hard to believe it had been so long since they had been away...

As Riva called a stop, the neutral mage reined her mare in. As if she, too, was excited and nervous to be home, Heart's Fire pranced back and forth while tossing her head. With a calming murmer and touch from her mistress, she came to stand still, though she still remained tense ready to move on.

Angel rode the stallion in silence. She was angered for her lack of study, but there wasn't much to do about it. As it was, she nearly tripped over herself to mount her horse and catch up with her two sisters.

When they made their stop, Angel checked herself to make sure she had her book. She would not be rushed this time. She hopped off the stallion and fixed her robes and pouches. She then continued to check her horse and make sure he was ok. Even went as far as speaking to him in her native tongue to check each hoof and ensure there were no rocks.

It was obvious she was doing this out of spite and nothing more. And it was clear she was angry for being rushed earlier.

She took out her spellbook and flipped through the pages til she found the page she was looking for. She read the page over then took three large steps towards Qualinesti.

She whistled high, then low. The stallion flipped his mane and took three steps towards Qualinesti as well.

Angel read the page again. She then licked her finger and stuck it in the air as if looking for the direction of the wind. She frowned. "The wind isn't coming from the right angle," she said.

She proceeded to flop down on the ground and grumble to herself as she went back to reading the same page. The stallion seemed annoyed as well by this and even stuck his nose into the air to test it himself. Satisfied that the dark elf was right, he followed her action and laid next to her, watching her sisters as if daring them to say something.

"Wow Qualinost. I Can't beleive I'm going to Qualinost." He at first sat in awe. Then, quickly he grabbed his sword and went to practice again in a little far off grove. The reason he did this is because they didn't know what could happen next...

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

As the white mage and his mob moved, the cloaked figure moved to the white robes side from the shadows. "Master, they are at the edges of Qualinost." He then pulled out a map and showed him where they were mostly likely located at. "Now I must leave and keep my eye on them, I will talk to you soon master." He then bowed and went back into the dark part of the forest and vanished...

Jeri dismounted her mare to stretch her legs for a few minutes. It was obvisous the sisters weren't going anywhere until Angel was good and ready. "And so I have it!" Angel said suddenly, startling the stallion. Both stood up then.

Angel whispered a few words in the language of magic. The wind started to take a more easternly route. "Ah, much better. It's amazing what one can do with a little wind," the black robe said, chuckling to herself.

She then walked closer to Qualinesti and repeated. "Lihnlistr snigsehbat angirjhurt Ganirthstnath"

It was a strange spell and sounded like nothing more then gibberish. However, a change occurred in Angel. Her robes turned into black ranger clothes. Her blonde hair weaved itself into a single braid. Where there were once spell components, now there was a long sword and a sword on either side of her belt.

She looked back at her sisters. They too had changed. Where at one time Riva wore a white robe, she now wore a beautiful white noblewoman's dress. Her long blone hair had been cleaned and brushed to the point where it looked angelic around her face and down her back. Her components might as well have disappeared all together. She carried no form of protection save a small daggar hidden in her bosom. The daggar was so intricately hidden, that it seemed as if her bosom had been enhanced rather then deadly.

Jeri had lost her red robes. Now she wore the clothes of a guardswoman. Her red leather armour gleamed deeper then the deepest blood. She wore a bow and quiver of arrows across her back and also held a sword at her belt. She also carried two daggars along her belt. Her blonde hair had been pulled back in a bun and gave her a tight, clean cut appearance.

Angel studied her sisters for a moment. "We could still be passed as sisters..." she thought aloud. Then it clicked. She snapped her fingers and whispered the words of yet another spell. While Angel's hair became darker then the darkest night, Jeri's hair turned to a woodland brown.

Angel smiled in satisfaction. "And there we have it. A Qualinesti beauty wanting passage into Qualinesti with her Kagonesti guardswoman and Silvanesti ranger," she said in explaination. "Oh, and don't worry over your spell components. They are safe in your packs on the horses."

She then mounted her stallion. "Riva. When they ask what your name is, make something up. Do not give them your real name. Same goes for you Jeri. In fact, it would probably be wise to place mind spell protections on all three of us."

As she said this, Angel whispered another spell. One that was way more familiar to her sisters. It was Angel's spell to protect her from those who casted mind spells. When she was finished, she looked back to her sisters. "Come along, sisters. We have yet another day's journey before we reach the borders."

She paid little to no attention to the servant at first. Then, when she looked down she remembered. Whispering the same spell she had on herself, she pointed at the boy. As the protection spell was placed on him, she said, "I do not want you speaking to anyone. And I mean no one. You are a servant boy. You take care of the horses. You do as we tell you. You listen to no one else. And you speak to no one else. If I catch you speaking to anyone, even a child, I will ensure you never speak again. Clear?"

"Lady cloudburst, if you would please lead the way. Crafter, You stay with me."

--------------------------------------

The white robe cursed under his breath, as his own stallion stopped dead in its tracks. Shaking his head, he held his breath, waiting for the inevitable.

Tiny bolts of blue lightning danced around the mans wiry figure, a sourceless wind begining to russle the leaves of the trees of Qualinost.

"Va'rins. I see you still haven't caught the renegade sister's.." A deep braitone rang from the blackness that had suddenly enveloped his section of the forest. "Needless to say my superiors are not very pleased at your progress.. Do you have anything to say before I destroy you?"

The white robe shook a bony finger at the voice. "You shall do no such thing Mar'ix. That is if you value your immortal soul."

The voice paused, seeming to think for a moment. "You're lies will get you nowhere Va'rins. Now tell me what you're thinking before I get angry."

"The sister's of Asroth are headed for Qualinost even as we speak. I intend to meet them at the gate with an army of the speakers finest."

"The girls are exiled. Why would they venture to thier homeland?"

"To thwart what we have started.."

The voice laughed a hollow and cold laugh. "Not a chance in the Abyss. We even have the ladies help on this one. Believe me, we have it covered."

"Ah, but she be a fickle mistress. I don't trust that one Mar'ix. Not at all. The women will be ours in a fortnight.. The moment they step into court, they will become our prisoners."

"For your sake Va'rins I hope so.." The voice trailed off, and the wind and lightning abated instantly.

"As do I.." whispered Va'rins to himself. "As do I.."

--------------------------------------

The sweet smelling air of Qualinost was the first thing the girls noticed as they crossed the boarder to the legendary elven lands. The trees seemed to welcome them warmly, and even the game seemed friendly. The leaves had just begun changing colors, and there was a gentle wind blowing through thier hair.

Among all this peace two pairs of ever vigilant eyes peered out at the travelers, muttering to each other in elven. Finally agreeing that it was time to show themselves, the two guards of the Qualinesti Border patrol stepped out, arrows cocked and at the ready.

"State your buisness in the elven land of Qualinesti." One said in heavy accented Common. "Or be on your way."

"But be on your guard... there are three rouge mages a'foot."

Riva's eyes widened slightly, a bolt of adrenaline hitting her system. Three rouge mages... They couldn't know about them... Could they?

"Are they dangerous?" She spat, looking worried toward the soldiers.

"Very. Burned half of a little farm town to ashes." She lifted a gloved hand to her mouth.

"My goodness... how dreadful." She shot a warning glance at Angel.

"We shall do our best to avoid these monstrosties," she said to the soldiers.

When the soldiers bid them safe passage, Angel whispered softly in elven to her stallion. The black stallion snorted and nodded his head, but stepped into a trot. He did not like the slow paces. But in the forests, it was hard to go any faster without hurting himself or Angel. And Angel was more precious to him then all the magic in the world.

Once they were out of ear shot, Angel whispered to Riva, "Even the best of us tend to turn rogue in times such as these."

Shaking his head solemnly he glanced up. A white robe mage had entered the room silently, and without alerting any of his guards. It could have only been one person.

"white robe Va'rins.. what brings you to the office of the speaker."
It wasn't a question.

Va'rins smiled, the shadow of his hood falling over all but his face.
"Why, just updating you on the work you asigned, My Lord." The mage replied in a cold, harsh tone.

"The three sister's who escaped to Asiroth have returned home." The speaker quirked an eyebrow at the mage.

"I didn't assign it. As I recall you went straight to the houses with your madness." He wasn't impressed. Infact, he'd help the sister's if he could..

"And it is your job to make sure it's carried out." The mage sneered. "But lets get straight to the point... I need about three thousand more rangers than what I have currently assigned. This is an important movement for the elves of Qualinost. We must enforce our rules amongst all of the elves.. we must show them we mean buisness."

Gilthas felt his blood begin to boil. He stood up slowly, and looked at the cowled man.

"I do not endorse this movement of yours. If you want men, you will have to find them of some other nation. I shall not comit the elves of Qualinesti to your mission. Now get out."

The white robed mage nodded, and vanished in a puff of flashpowder. He wouldn't be denied. Not when he was this close.

"Don't mind angel dear, just don't say anything that would give us away." She smiled, waving her hand.

"Here, how about this inn?" She asked. The inn looked to be relativly knew, and was part of one of the massive oak trees that grew in Qualinost.. It was called the Inn of the Green thumb.

As the sister's entered, the first thing they realized was the vines hanging from the ceiling, each holding up a tiny lantern. The tables were made out of small tree stumps, and the chairs were intracatly carved with delicate Elven figures.

The innkeep was an acnicent elf, her hair pulled back in a tiny grey bun.
"Hello." She smiled in elven. "How can I help ye travelers?" Riva glided across the floor, elegantly smiling at the innkeep.

Riva smiled to the Innkeeper when she was given her soup. "What is this called?" She asked, her innocence beaming through. The innkeep smiled gently.

"It's a human recepie called split pea soup.. It's quite good, regardless of it's appearance." Riva made a mental note to look it up when she got home, and to talk to some of the towns people.

She gestured to three seats next to her, and hoped her sister's and the servant boy would take the hint.

After all it would't do at all not to at least try some of this marvelous feast that sat before them.

Once settled in the room, Jerilathalas follwed her sisters back downstairs for dinner. Her senses nearly danced with all the wonderful scents in the Inn and the disguised red robe had to suppress a grin.

Instead, she took one of the empty seats offered by her oldest sister, giving the Innkeep a nod of thanks when their food was set down. Picking up her spoon, she warily tasted the thing called pea soup.

"Interesting..." she said, after she had swallowed a few spoonfuls, "new, but interesting."

Will had just walked in when they started to serve dinner. He wiped off some sweat with a cloth that he had brought. He then sat down in one of the chairs and looked at the soup before he started to eat it. After trying some he said, "Mmm, this is quite good. What is the recipe?"

He was always interested in getting new recipes and trying to cook them. Expecially when he liked the food.

Va'rins stepped out of the small pond, water dripipng off of his lithe elven body, and shimmering in the moonlight. A return to his homeland has been a welomce change of scenary. Especially after dealing with the dull elves of Quilinost. Whispering a few words to shroud his form, He pulled on his white robes and began toward the manner house. The time had cometo capture the sister's once and for all. He was refreshed after his visit home..

--------------------------------------
The small cavern was lit with magical lamps, that cast lights of blue and green of the walls of the cave. At least it appeared to be a cave. A well muscled man sat atop a throne, the firelight giving an almost black tone to his already green skin.

"Your honor." Va'rins said as he stopped down to one knee. The man's eyes rested on Va'rins.

"Rise." He said. His voice had taken on an almost musical tone.. It was just like the old days..

"Your honor.. I can't begin to tell you how-"

"Silence!" The man shouted, pushing his bulky form up from the throne he sat upon. Ancient writing glittered in the moist hall. A writing that most people on Krynn would have shuddered at.

"You have failed to bring the sister's back to me, and beyond that have done a great diservice to my messenger. I should have you beheaded now for high treason."

"B-but your honor.. I was only.."

"Only failing at a mission you yourself promised would be compeleted by the peak of Lunitari's next cycle. As you can see, Lunitari is at her appex, but no sister's..."

"Your honor.. I.."

"I am willing to give you one last chance however... return to the surface Va'rins, and this time bring me the women's heads. The Kingpriest is not happy."

Thunder crackled in the distance. High above the surface of the bloodsea of Istar, a storm was brewing.

"As the Advisor to the Kingpriest of New Istar, I grant you leave." He began. "Those girls must either be converted to our cause or killed.. We must raise this empire back to it's former glory.. The Kingpriest demands it."

Va'rins nodded, turned around and vanished into the darkness.

Riva smiled to her sister, as they greated the sun. Chimes sounded in the distance, and the people of Qualinost were just begining to pedal thier wears on the streets.

"Jeri.. Let's go shopping." She smiled broadly. "Let Angel sleep."

Jeri had slept soundly the night before. She had missed the nighttime sounds of the homeland and han enjoyed waking up to the morning sounds as well. Finishing her dressing and preparation for the day, she nodded to her eldest sister.

"Yes lets." she agreed.

Riva smiled to her servant. "I don't see why not. Angel can just stay here.. Lets get on with our holiday."

Waking outside into the sweet smelling Qualinost Air, she smiled for what seemed to be the first time since they had left home. THe colors of the trees were just begining to change from a lush green to the golds and reds of autumn. The smell of freshly baked breads, and sweets permated the air.

"What would you like to do first dear?" Riva asked Jeri.

"What would you like to do first dear?" Riva asked Jeri.

Jerilathalas sighed happily as they fragrant air hit her senses. She suddenly felt so free that shee could have spun in a circle like a carefree child. The mage in disguise restrained herself however.

"Breakfast." she declared with a giggle.

"Breakfast sounds like the thing to do." Riva smiled. Turning slightly, she walked toward a small booth that was nestled in a small oak tree.

"Lina's Diner." The sign read, scrawled in the elegant language of the elves.

"What a strange name.. Must be a foreign diner.. Shall we?"

"Breakfast sounds good to me." Will said with a smile. He then heard his stomach rumble, he looked away and blushed. When he was back to normal, he said "Must be a foreign diner, excellent more recipes." He then waited for his masters to move.

Jeri nodded her agreement and made her way over to the diner. Spying a table with three seats, she claimed one and offered the other two to Will and Riva.

a stooped red head half elf walked over to the small table of travelers and smiled gently.
"What can I get ye?" IT asked in Accented Quainenesti. Riva smiled, and looked at the small menu that sat in front of her.

"I'll take a small Quithpa Salad and some red Valen wine." She smiled to the stooped waiter.

He looked at the small menu, a confused look came on his face. For he was not sure what these foods were. Since he wasn't sure he just said, "Same for me." He said with a weak smile, not knowing what he had just ordered.
