OOC: This thread takes place after "The Beginning of the End", so if anyone wants more info. please skim through that thread first. Everyone is free to join as always.

BIC: The world has been torn asunder in the wake of the return of the dark queen to its lands. The great city of Thorbardin has been reduced to rubble from a great earthquake, the woods of the Silvanesti have been burned to cinders from a great fire, and the High Clerists Tower as well as the solamnic capital of Solanthas have been destroyed. But now Takhisis is dead, as well as the great general Darkness who died while battling her. The gods are now freed from the spell that held them in thrall, but Krynn is in complete chaos. The ogres occupy the woods of the Silvanesti, and the remaining knights of Takhisis control Palanthas and most of Solamnia, but how long can they remain in control without their leader. The great Lord Soth has disappeared from Krynn, and no one remains to lead the evil forces. The balance has been shifted, but is there anyone left to regain the balance. This is the tale of a world in the grasp of evil, and the heroes willing to give their lives to regain conrol of Krynn. Will good prevail, or will evil prevail again.Having her as a friend is just as good as having her as a lover, but I would love to cherish her as both.

OOC: Basically any characters will do. Good, evil, it doesnt matter much. I dont even know how this one will end or what is going to happen so its up to you. Good or evil can win so it makes it a little more fun. Enjoy!

BIC: Blade had travelled many miles and witnessed much of the destruction of Takhisis, but nothing prepared him for this. Even Solanthas had some remains left behind, but there was not even a remnant of the High Clerists Tower left. All he could see were charred bodies littering the lands where the tower once stood. Blade was a knight of Solamnia, well at least he used to be. He was banished when the order learned of his using magic. Now he was a wandering sell-sword, travelling the lands trying to do what was right to help mankind. But now he was needed more than ever. His long black hair flowed unchecked behind his body, and his black eyes took in his entire surroundings. "Well, at least that mage Darkness killed Takhisis. But her power was amazing, to destroy all this with little or no effort, it is hard to believe a human could best her. Now nothing remains, the knights are finished, and the Solamnic plains are ruins. Even if I wished to return, there is nothing now to return to."

Blade knew this trip would be dangerous, but he had to try to help the people of Palanthas. Even though he was not a knight anymore, he still dedicated his life to the oath and the measure, and the people of these lands needed him. He headed through the pass and made his way towards the new capital of the knights of takhisis.Having her as a friend is just as good as having her as a lover, but I would love to cherish her as both.

OOC: Yo, the ogres are back in town.

BIC:

The ogre face held dark secerts but Vargan did not know which. Vargan studied Targ's face before but he never knew what his general was thinking.

Targ wanted to be alone and he stayed in his command tent most of the day. Vargan wasn't even allowed entrance.

The woods of the ancient elven home was almost wiped out by the fire that their Queen fell upon them. But the elves still held on, stuggling for their supremacy. They were strong and blood-thirsty. Vargan wanted to leave but Targ said nothing of the matters.

Vargan looked up at the night sky as meteor shower took place in the heavens. His long raven black hair flowing in the cool breeze.

Was it a omen? Bad or good? Vargan didn't know, but he knew his ogre army wouldn't last long under this conditions.I MAKE A JOURNEY. YOU MAKE A JOURNEY. WE MAKE A JOURNEY TOGETHER. I AM HAPPY. ----Sphere

As he walked upon the battle feild he saw that he was a failure. He had failed to help Darkness. He had been beaten by a Dragon. What could get worse? Well he was now a Light Mage.

He was sad because he was probably one of the last mages. Light or Dark Mage. He kept to himself as he remembered all the horrible things he had done. How could he have done these things? He told himself. Ah, yes because he was a Dark Mage.

But know that he was not he felt terrible and horrible about what he had done to the people that he had killed. And for what? To please his Lord Darkness and the Dark Queen. But now they were both gone. What should he do?

He didn't know wether to help and defeat the evil that had tooken over or try and linger back to the dark side that he had once loved. Yet he was now good and winced at the thought of his dark past. As he walked about he traveled for a very long time and accidently ran into a man. His armor felt like a knights. Could he be a knight?

He pulled his cloak down around him and hurried off. He didn't now where he was but he could manage more or less.

A whisper upon the wind blew listlessly across a barren land.....nothing more than fire and ash. Charred remains littered the ground, blackend bones crunching under foot. Yuki-Imo knelt down, his silver hair falling around him, spreading like molten metal over the death ridden patch of earth. A tear fell freely. Few would mourn the passing of all these souls...for few now lived who knew them, and so he would weep for them...but once.

Turning his eyes skywards, those crystal blue eyes that had watched the onslaught from afar, but bound to interfere not. The mark on his head, benotting his calling. Three small circles of blue, one under the other in the centre of his forehead, and two diamond shapes on either side of that.

He stood up, walked a few feet, and then jumped into the dark air, vanishing, only to appear on the other side of the field. His white and blue robe stirred, the silver scarf surrounding him loosend its grasp, seeming to move of its own accord....

The dark name of death was sung clearly over the battle field, carcasses spewed across it like the rain drops that now fell and drowned out death's song of victory. No more would this happen...the Dark Queen dead, would chaos insue? Would the balance be maintained....did it ever exist in this consumed world?

He would find out...rid the land of the lingering evil, restore the sun to its proper place in the sky, where a blackend cloud hung carelessly, but with a purpose. Lightning flashed, and he was gone...into the night, seeking solace after so much death, but to find those willing to help him restore a once vibrant land. Airiana
11/19/2002 6:11 AM

Airiana stood alone. Alone in a desolate wasteland. Takhisis was dead, and with her death, many of the evil Dragons had gone with her. Including her father, who had been known to mortals as Cenullo. With his, and his clan's death, came the death of Airiana's Silver/Red hybrid heritage. Her mother was long since dead. Most of her clan as well. Airiana, for the first time in her ancient life, was utterly alone. The Heart-Emerald around her neck glowed with a deep blue colour, showing the sadness in her heart.

The land before her didn't change much, no matter where on Krynn she traveled. For the most part it was a land of barren fields filled with the blood of innocents. Innocents who tried despirately(SP?) to save their lives and the lives of their families from the evil abound on Krynn. Few were sucessful. The creatures still lurking on Krynn were mostly evil: ogres, goblins, Knights of Takhisis.. and Airiana laughed at the thought of it. They're Queen was dead!..

Airiana was one of the few survivors who was in any way good. Well, there were others. Others like the once-black mage. Others like the gnarly old dwarf who she had tried to help, if he was still alive. Others like the Solomniac Knight which she had healed. But the Gods only know what happened to any of them. They were no where to be found. She had searched for them, but to no avail.

A single tear fell from a large, silver eye and Airiana shuttered. 'Alone,' she thought. 'Completely alone.'

Shaking her large, scaly head, Airiana unfurled her great wings and leaped into the sky. Within seconds, she was high above the dark clouds, winging sadly through the glum. Suddenly, she sensed a presence. 'The mage? she thought. 'Is it him?'

Feeling that it surely was, Airiana dropped below the clouds, looking around. Yes, it was him. She saw him, passing a ..good knight? Airiana smiled. There was still good in the world. She landed lightly, far enough away that none noticed her, and she shapeshifted into a familiar guise: that of a beautiful elf. Her hair was long and black. Her skin darkly tanned. Her eyes large, almond-shaped, and silver. She wore simple robes of silver and around her neck she wore the Heart-Emerald, a lighter blue now that she had found some hope.

Seeing the mage hurry away from the knight, Airiana smiled. With a quickness unknown to mortals, she caught up with the mage and smiled and she slowed down. "So," she said quietly, her beautiful Elven features desguising(SP?) her. "What brings you here, stranger?" She asked. If the mage was smart, Airiana's voice would recall him to her in her true form. For the voice did not change much, it was less booming, but it still held the thick, exotic accent when she spoke in Common.

As he passed the knight he felt a presence that he had not felt in sense his defeat by the dragon Airiana.. the dragon? Could it be? He looked up and saw nothing. As soon as he was about to departure again he heard the voice that had defeated him. As he turned around he saw a elf standing infront of him. She was very good at disguising herself yet she needed to learn to change her voice.

He then looked at the Heart-Emerald. Ah, yes so it was her. He thought. "Well I don't really know elf.. or should I say Airiana the dragon who defeated me." He smiled at the thought. Now that the good side of him started to take over he felt better that he knew somebody who was still alive.

Blade could hear the others talking behind him, but he paid them no heed. The people of Palanthas needed him, and he had to do all in his power to help as many as possible. He began the long, arduous walk to the great city. Along the way he noticed many more bodies strewn about the grounds, knights who had tried to escape it seemed. Their bodies were charred beyond recognition, some were frozen into place sealed in thick walls of ice. But the most appalling of all were those that died of the noxious breath of the greens, their intestines spilling forth from their mouths. Their deaths were not instant, but slow and painful choking on their internal organs until they could not breathe. "Such a waste of life, if only I had been here....no, there is nothing I could have done but died with them. I have to live on so their deaths were not in vain."

He hastened his steps, trying not to look at the bodies as he passed them. Above he heard a screech from the mountain tops, a carrion bird no doubt. Soon thousands of them would dine well on the bodies of the knights, not a fitting burial for one in the service of Paladine but he could not waste his time burying them. The living needed him more now than ever. As far as he knew he was the last of the Solamnic knights, even though he was cast out he had to help these people.Having her as a friend is just as good as having her as a lover, but I would love to cherish her as both.

A lone figure stood near the destroyed temple to paladine....cloaked in a deep midnight blue, a woman's delicate hand touched the pile of white stone. She turned her eyes to the stars above, their light reflected in their blue depths

a presence intruded in her thoughts.....and her head wipped around....her eyes locked onto a knight running through the center of the city. She stood with haste, and the hood of her cloak fell away from her face...revealing pale skin, flowing silver hair and delicately pointed ears. A silver circlet graced her forhead. She hastily tugged the hood back up over her head, hiding her features once more.

She drew her sword, and followed the knight. I knew ansalon was in danger.....but this...I never expected this. This is worse than when the Scion of The dark Queen tried to take over my land.

Are you in danger my queen? Came a soft voice. NO! Stay hidden...I can hide my identity....but you will give me away. stay where you are. she sent back, she was nearing the knight....she slowed her pace, watching him intently....thankful for the hood that hid the tears in her eyes.

"Blade....." The word was barely a whisper, snatched by an errant breeze. Do you ever question your life?

Targ and Vargan marched into the ruined city of Silvanesti. There were dead bodies everywhere, littering the ground and providing food for the carrion. Many of the bodies were that of elves, though there were many ogres as well. The two ogres were followed by a dozen other ogre warriors. They walked towards the Tower of the Stars.

A small band of elves had just been dispatched by another group of ogres. Killing many of them and taking a few hostage. Targ stepped inside the battered doors and eyed the dead bodies that littered the marble floor.

"Where is he?" Targ muttered.

"In the side chamber, over there, sir!" An ogre warrior motioned across the huge room.

Targ nodded, signaling for Vargan and the rest to follow, he walked across the main chamber of the Tower and entered the side chamber. It was lavishly decorated, disgusting to Targ, but beautiful to the elves. Tied to a large wooded chair was a rather frail looking elf. He had been beaten badly. His face was a mass of bruises.

"Who beat him so?" Targ asked quietly.

When an ogre smiled and mentioned that he had beaten the elf. Targ motioned Vargan towards the ogre. "Kill him, Vargan. I don't want people beaten if they don't need to be." The ogre gulped and drew his sword as Vargan bore down on him. But Vargan was much larger and was going to have no problem killing the nuisance.

Targ pulled up a chest infront of the tied up elf, settling his bulk onto it gently. "I am sorry for the beating. It won't happen again. Can I get you anything?" The elf didn't say anything. Just looked at him through swollen eyes.

"Speaker, we must talk. For the sake of your Kingdom. I am planning on leaving here. If you want to be alive when I do so, then you would do well to listen what I have to say." Targ said softly.

The Speaker of the Stars looked at him quite astonished. But he was listening. "Good. Now...here is what I plan...." Targ started, watching the Speaker the entire time. Boredom's not a burden anyone should bear.

"Kynia?" Blade turned quickly around to see her, shrouded in a blue cloak. As soon as he spoke a group of dark knights rounded the corner. They drew their swords, Blade drew his in response. There were four dark knights, Blade protectively placed himself between Kynia and the men. The first knight lunged clumsily, Blade removed the knights arm from his body cleanly and was ready when the next one closed in. The second dark knight brought his sword down trying to cleave Blades head in two, but the blow was easily knocked away, and a quick stab by Blades sword ended the mans life. The other two knights quickly picked up their injured comrad and retreated from the street. "Damned dark knights, the only ones left are squires and low ranking apprentices." He then remembered Kynia behind him. He turned and embraced her. "My dear, what are you doing in a horrible place like this?"Having her as a friend is just as good as having her as a lover, but I would love to cherish her as both.

Yuki-Imo took a step inside the ruined city.....the once vibrant city of palanthas, now nothing much more than mere rubble. He could weep for the fallen stones, but tears wouldn't bring back the beauty of this city. His robe dusted the dirt ridden ground.

Something crossed his mind, evil.....he felt it....nearby.....he had sworn to destroy the evil remaining, whatever this was he would start here. Slowly rounding the corner of a collapsed building, Yuki-Imo witnessed the blue cloaked figure, and the other, facing the knights of darkness whose Queen had perished but recently.

Four against two....unreasonable odds....

Vargan killed the ogre with no thought to what he did. Targ had something up his sleeve, Vargan knew, but do not know what.

The captured elves looked with astonished as Targ helped the Speaker to his feet. But Vargan knew they thought this was all a trick. Ogre and elf, ancient enemies since time began.

Targ said nothing to Vargan about his plans. But Vargan foresaw change, if for better or for worse....I MAKE A JOURNEY. YOU MAKE A JOURNEY. WE MAKE A JOURNEY TOGETHER. I AM HAPPY. ----Sphere

Kynia smiled back, but didn't get the chance to reply. the Sickening presence of a dark knight washed over her....and she frowned. She pushed the hood away from her face, and turned slightly, resting her hand on Blade's arm. this one was hers. The knight made a rush for her, and she moved with a step that almost seemed lazy.

"Fool...You obviously don't know who you are dealing with." she said softly, as the knight halted in his tracks, stumbling wildly as his breath was pushed from his lungs. She raised her hand, and with a flick of her slender wrist, the man was slammed into the nearest building....peices of plaster fell to the ground around him.

She checked him over quickly, And was startled, to feel Blade's hand clench on her arm tightly. She noted sadly the shocked expression on his face. "Much has changed my love....the Kirioyal are mostly warriors now...the guardian companions have all turned black...all but Kyel...he still remains silver. He says that the companions receive their form from the souls of their chosen....it is their light or darkness that colors them. "

She paused as another wave of malice washed over her.... "come...we shouldn't stay here much longer." she said, resting her hand on his shoulder lovingly.Do you ever question your life?

Airiana smiled at the mage. "Yes, it is I, Airiana." And at this, she bowed, a smile spreading across her crimson lips. "And changing my voice is not an issue. I decided not to so that thou wouldst better realize to whom thou spoke." At this, her voice changed, one sounding Silvanesti in origin. "How goes it, friend.. if I may venture so far to call you that.. What have you been doing since you were.. transformed?"

With that question, Airiana motioned the mage into an inn. Surprisingly in fair condition for the mayhem around it.

Blade and Kynia moved to a nearby warehouse that had been abandoned for quite some time by the looks of it. From rear window they could see the great harbor of Palanthas, dark knights were everywhere unloading a shipment from Neraka it seemed. Among the weapons and supplies were reinforcements for the knights. These would not be the untrained squires and apprentices that held the city now, these would be trained knights and a few commanders to lead the army. "This does not look good. If only we could have taken the city a few days ago, we could have closed the harbor and this would all be over. As you saw, the knights we fought were but apprentices in the knighthood. Nearly all of the veterans held by Darkness's side until the end of the battle, and all were killed. It seems that even Lord Soth himself was among those that stayed by his side, but he too felt the wrath of the dark queen. None that stayed and fought her were spared."

Blade gazed into Kalias eyes, and was immediately entranced. "It is good to see you my dear. I still have the gift that you gave me." Out of his pocket he pulled a small black sphere that glistened in what little light that the warehouse offered. "I have not needed to use it yet, but now the danger is growing it seems. These reinforcements will surely destroy what little resistance that I have mustered in the city. So far I have found about a dozen solamnic knights, and a few in the theives guild have pledged their support to me as well. I fear it is not enough though, we are vastly outnumbered. May Paladine look upon us and give us strength." A single tear marred his war hardened face. "It is truely good to see you again. I have missed you much."Having her as a friend is just as good as having her as a lover, but I would love to cherish her as both.

Yuki-Imo watched as the pair retreated, several knights went in pursuit. Not now dark ones....those two seem to need time alone...and your putrid essence will not be welcome....., grabbing part of the scarf around him, the rest remaining, he threw a strand out towards one of the knights.....several other strands following in its wake. Each twisted around the legs of waist of each knight, tight, constricting.

They screamed in shocked, surprise....only for their voices ot be cut short as the Ki-charged scarf threw them all in different directions. The voices trailed away as they flew over buildings, landing with crushing force. One was left.....a young lad....he attempted to run. I am sorry young one....but evil's taint has gripped you....it must be smothered....

His hair whipped wildly.....the mark upon his head glowing a brilliaint blue...like his eyes.....which were closed.

Opening them suddenly, the very air seemed to be thrown into chaos....an unseen force of power, ripped across the ground, shattering brick and stone, wood and metal....

It caught the youth....bursting him open like a ripe melon.....blood washed the once white marble of building walls.....Yuki-Imo turned.....Evils taint certainly has gripped many....even the innocence of youth is washed away in blood.....

He heard the voices of a few dozen of the knights....he couldn't destroy them all...not in such numbers yet.....and so leaped up onto one of the broken buildings, disappearing across the remains of roof tops.Come see my site : http://pub63.ezboard.com/bthedream60488

Kynia's eyes softened at the sight of the tear. her hand reached up, her skin pearl-pale against his. her finger lightly touched his cheek, and wiped the tear away. "I have missed you too." she said softly

Kynia's eyes rested on the sphere for a long moment....and nodded. "we're alone in here....and what that sphere is used for, will not be noticed here. Use it. Shatter the sphere...just throw it against the stone floor." She stood up and backed away a bit.Do you ever question your life?

Blade looked at the sphere for a moment, not knowing what to do. He treasured the gift from Kynia, but he had always hoped he never had to use it. He did not want to destroy such a beautiful treasure, but at Kynias insistance he would. He hurled the sphere a couple of feet away, and it crashed to the floor with a loud boom. A black smoke filled the area and small surges of purple lightning danced playfully through the cloud. A form began to take shape inside the cloud, at first it was indiscernable but it soon began to take a more solid form. The smoke and lightning danced around the creature and was pulled into its body. The scene was complete, and the creature was as well. A horse stood there, a horse that could have been the twin of Kynia's own, Kyel, except this horse was black in color not silver. Blade knew full well this was no horse, but a being that would look after and protect him all his days.

Hello friend, it seems that the time has come for me to walk Krynn once again. Mine name is Kellin, and I am here to assist you it seems. Tell me, what dost thou desire of me?

Blade looked at Kynia, and could not believe the gift that she had given him. He pulled her close and hugged her. "Thank you my dear, he is a beautiful creature. I just hope that he approves of me." Having her as a friend is just as good as having her as a lover, but I would love to cherish her as both.

OOC: I will keep going. But it is hard to do a story when the DM doesn't interact with all the players.

BIC:

Targ, Vargan, and the speaker were the only ones left in the small chamber. Vargan had just killed the disobediant ogre and now stood behind Targ, looking a little confused. Granted, and seeing the leader of the Ogres and the leader of the Silvanesti elves talking with each other was wierd, but things had changed on Krynn lately.

"Speaker. This is my deal. I am going to let the rest of your elves live, if they stop killing my own troops. I know that both of our losses are great. But, we will be leaving soon. I am tired of living in these ruined forests, they aren't for me, or any of my ogres." He looked behind at Vargan.

"My second-in-command and I will rally our troops and march out of your forest in two days time, if you cooperate. If not, we will continue to slaughter your kind. I am as sick of it as you, but I will do what needs to be done. I will tell you my plans, so you know them and you can warn whomever, or keep your mouth shut, it makes no difference to me"

The speaker looked at him, relaxing a little in his chair. "Go on" He said softly.

"My army is going to march on Palanthas, Kalaman, Balifor, anywhere there is a creature of Takhisis. I am going to kill it. I love my Queen dearly, but she went to far this time. Though, I will say that if I come across any of those accursed Solamnics, I won't hesitate to kill them either. They have been a thorn in my side for far too long. Yes, I know I am talking cross-purposes. But, it is what I plan and I think that my army will follow me on this. Some will grumble. They like it here, killing elves. But they will follow me. Do you understand?" Targ asked the speaker.

The man nodded and stood up, "I accept your terms, ogre. I will tell my elves to stop with the raids. I know they won't be happy either. But if it get s you out of my home, so be it. Now, if you will excuse me. I have buisness to attend to." Without another word, the Speaker walked off and exited the chamber.

Targ stood and looked at Vargan. "Start spreading news that we will march. Do you agree with my actions? If not, you can speak up. I know that many of the troops will be angry with this. Some will try to kill me, I know. But this has to be done. We don't belong here. I don't know where to head first. I will leave that up to you. Choose our destination, Vargan. Do we kill Knights of Solamnia, or creatures of Takhisis. Either way is fine with me. The ogres will no longer be forced to stay in their mountains, from this day forwards we go where we please, do what we want, and no one will stop us.." He finished with a sigh.

"Come, we must break camps and get the troops to get started on the move." Boredom's not a burden anyone should bear.

OOC: hey, Darkness...make Kellin female would you? ;)

Kynia nodded in approval at the release of the black Guardian. "Well...what shall we do now? Where to we go?" She questioned softly as Kyel stepped out of the shadows of the warehouse...his silver coat dulled by a heavy coating of dust...which he rolled in to disguise the silver.

He reached the black Guardian and reached forward, nose to nose, then he snorted, wickered, and walked back to Kynia's side his head draped over her shoulder, his bright blue eyes locked with Kellin.

BIC: "We must reach the theives guild, but first I must warn the other knights of the reinforcements. They are hiding in a warehouse nearby, we must hurry before they are found. Kyel and Killin should be safe here for a while." Blade led the way out the side of the warehouse, and down a dark alley. After about a two minute walk they reached the base of the solamnics. Shouting could be heard inside.

Blade burst in the door and found nearly twenty dark knights attacking the dozen solamnics he had gathered. One of the solamnics was wounded, his arm bleeding profusely. "You foul excuses for humans want a fight, then face me and we will see how you fare." Blade drew his sword as the knights readied to attack.Having her as a friend is just as good as having her as a lover, but I would love to have her as both.

Kynia had drawn her own blade, her mind clear and ready for battle....She laughed inwardly as a few of the knights pointed at her, while most where concentrating on Blade. Fools...just because I'm a woman...is that it?

She watched them closely, feining ignorance in the ways of battle....We dare to ask for more

"Come, we must break camps and get the troops to get started on the move."

Vargan looked a Targ for a long moment. He sighed in relief.

"Yes, Targ. I do agree with you. We should go somewhere else. These lands mean nothing to me. Elves, let them have their home. We are out of our element anyway." He looked up at the darken sky. "Let anyone who does not agree go back to their homelands. The others, I think we should march upon anyone who stands against us. Let us travel east and let us find where we to go from there. The Dark Queen has gone to far. Let us have vengence upon her, for destorying our lands we hold dear."

OOC: Yeah, Dal. It is pretty hard that many things are different things are happening at the same time."HEY! Your stepping in my dirt!"

Targ and his ogres kept their word. Within two days there were marching out of the forests of Silvanesti. They walked in one long column, though it was significantly shorter than the one they had when entering the forest. Targ could almost see the elves flitting through the trees around him. He had no doubt that they would rain arrows down from the trees and slaughter them if Targ ordered his army to return.

He marched in front of his army. Some of his soldiers had to be killed because of their insolence about leaving. They had tried to start a riot, getting people to follow them to killing the elves. Some had followed, but it was only a matter of time before it was put down. Many of the Ogres were too tired and were ready to leave.

Sometime that evening they exited the forest. Targ took in a deep breath of fresh air. "Finally..." he mumbled. With a bellow, he ordered his army to continue the march. They didn't know where they were going yet, but they could decide that on the march. For the time being, they just wanted to be out of the forest. Targ could hear ragged cheering from the forest, the elves were celebrating. But that sound was quickly replaced by his own army as one by one they all began relishing the fact that they were out of the hellish elven forests. This brought a smile to Targ's ugly face as hundreds of ogre voices filled the countryside. Boredom's not a burden anyone should bear.

Vargan saw upon the elven faces, looks of joy and relief, but most of all there was looks of hatred and loathing. Vargan knew they would have their revenge, but not today.

Vargan marched on, heavily in thought. The elves faces sent fear into his heart. The look was never their before, it would scar their delicate features forever, as blood would stain their fair hands. He shook his head, trying to dislodge the vison from his mind. But it wouldn't go away.

The army seemed in good spirits, but but Vargan followed under a dark shadow. He could not shake off his uneasiness."HEY! Your stepping in my dirt!"

Blade charged the nearest dark knight, and the boy was unprepared to the assault. Blades weapon cleanly chopped off the boys head, and he turned to face the next knight. The other solamnics, seeing Blades attack were immediately spurred into action. The knights charged the dark knights from behind, the dark knights were still inexperienced in actual battle and had long forgotten about the solamnics behind them.

"For Paladine!" Blade yelled as he finished off his next opponent with a stab to his gut. Another dark knight caught Blade off guard and swung his sword hard into Blades left arm. He fell to the floor hard as the knight waltzed in casually for the kill. Blade had little or no time roll out of the way of the knights next attack. He searched drastically for his sword but he dropped it several feet away, and he was unable to get up for the knight kept pressing the attack. Now he was backed into a corner with no escape as the dark knight moved in for the kill.Having her as a friend is just as good as having her as a lover, but I would love to have her as both.

Kynia's eyes narrowed as the Dark knight moved in, his blade raised for the kill. "I don't think so." She said coldly, her hand raised, as he found himself unable to move against Blade.... An invisible barrier was firmly set between Blade and his attacker.

"now, now....Quite dishonorable to continue to attack an unarmed man...." she said, her sapphire eyes dark. We dare to ask for more

OOC: Back to the top with this one.....

BIC: Kynia frowned and turned to Blade. "Are you alright?" She asked, concern lacing her voice. She returned her gaze to the trapped Dark Knight. "Go....Tell your superiors that they face certain death if any face me again." She growled, and turned away from the knight, the barrier dropped.

At the only remaining inn in Palanthas sat a creature in the shadows. The inn was crowded (it being the only one) but noone bothered the figure in the corner. All anyone saw was the barwench take mugs of ale over to it and leave; that and the gleaming yellow eyes.

From the corner of the inn, Wart got drunk."Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?"
"You don't need any help from me, sir."
"That's right." - Clue
