White feathered wings stretched to their fullest...riding the wind with the skill of an adept. Long, Sinuous, crystalline body stretched out like an arrow. Golden eyes half closed in pleasure as the wind rushed over and under.

Glimmer glided with ease...for once able to fly just for the sheer pleasure of it. she had nearly reached her home-town of Solace...when it hit. A wave of urgancey as she had never felt before...

Her glide halted, as she tilted her wings towards the east....returning home... The mountains loomed before her...and her heart raced as the urgancey increased with each passing moment. She landed on the fore-most mountain peak...and slipped past the magical barriers there....

The cavern within was lit with magical lights... the cavern was basically a gigantic Geode....crystals winking from every corner...every inch was covered in brightly lit crystal. the ones on the ceiling winked and glittered with every movement....while the floor was fused by dragon breath, making a beautiful mirrored floor.

Glimmer's eyes where immediatly drawn to the furthest corner....where her mate, Navare lounged. His black Crystal scales shimmered in the mage-flames, his black feathered wings where folded loosely against his back. He looked up at her entrance, and was again fixated on the nest before him.

The nest was made of spun crystal, silver, gold and platinum, with crystals scattered everywhere. Four eggs law within this shining nest... a clear crystal like herself....one black like Navare...and two shining silver-crystal eggs. Glimmer curled up around the opposite side of the nest, and noted the pile of carefully selected meat for the new hatchlings.

She smiled at Navare and fixed her attentions on the nest. A crystalline egg wobbled, a black crystal's egg rippled...the silvers' glowed as though lit from within. she watched as the eggs wobbled and split...each letting loose a pair of hatchlings.... the eight wyrmlings attacked their offering without hesitation... they squabbled amungst themselves for a moment...then worked together... Glimmer and Navare could only smile in pride.

When the wyrmlings had finished, their attention finally became focused on their parents. Glimmer raised her head, and her gold eyes fixed on the crystal hatchlings. "You Clear Crystal children are decendents of Paladine...God of light... My son, my daughter...you are known as StarWind, and Light."

Navare's deep amber eyes locked onto the Black crystal hatchlings. "You Black crystal children are decendants of Takhisis, Goddess of Darkness... My son, my daughter...you are known as NightWing, and MidnightSong"

the four silvery-crystal dragons stared in awe at their parents. "You children are the blessed children of Gilean...God of Balance...you are the start of a new race of dragons on Krynn...The Dragons of Balance. My daughters you are known as RainLight, and WindRider" Glimmer said proudly.

"My sons, you are to be known as, SkyTouch, and StormWing." Navare said, his amber eyes kind. The hatchlings stared at their parents...as the vauge feeling of destiny decended upon all of them...One cannot assume that something that looks like an animal isn't an intelligint person~~Nor that something that looks human is more than a Beast.

The servent of Chaos, Father of All and Nothing, felt the presence of the dragonkind as it took its first life-filled breath. The servant, with eyes of fire, seached the rugged country side for signs of the dragon's wake.

He looked upon the horzion, to the lands that gave death to the sun and sniffed the air. He floated toward the dragon's scent.

It was this day that the stranger came to Solace. He rode no horse, and made no sound. Glittering armor shone beneath his heavy green cloak. A sword scabbard protruded from beneath his cloak, and a shield was slung on his back. He wore a dented old Solamnic helm over his untidy shoulder length brown hair. He enetered the town and stood at it's gates.

His eyes fell upon the Inn of The Last Home, nestled among the branches of a mighty vallenwood. He smiled warmly, memories flooding back to him. His smiled soon faded, however, when a slight glimmer in the sky caught his eye. It was a flash of silver, and was gone as quickly as it had come.

He frowned and forced himself not think of it. But a strange feeling fell over him. A kind of feeling that made you feel insignificant. He shook the thought away and continued to the Inn, his mind racing with thoughts of ale nd spiced potatoes...Est Sularus Oth Mithas

Nightwing looked up at his gigantic parents, his jet black eyes unblinking as he looked them over. Then, apparently satisfied, he attacked a piece of meat once more, savaging it with his razor sharp teeth. To his parent's obvious suprise, the black crystal wyrmling's wings were not feathered as his parent's were, but leather and bat-like in the same way as the other Krynn dragons. As he wolfed down the meat, a cold black flame licked up from the sides of his mouth, flickering balefire that threw a contrast on his pale fangs. Nightwing looked around the cave, finished with his meal for the moment, and began to make his way with a rather wobbly gait across the cave floor."Ah, they have a cave troll....."

SkyTouch and Windrider looked over at their dark sibling... the twin siblings stared in wonder at their surroundings and the power that stirred within them. the other hatchlings where equally awed by the brilliant crystal.

"Rest up my children...tomorrow we take you to Solace...your intergration with humans and the other lesser races of Krynn is essential." Glimmer murmered as she too watched Nightwing amble across the floor. "first we shall teach a spell that will help you in your relations with humans." Glimmer worked with Skytouch, Windrider, Starwind and Light....while Navare worked with MidnightSong, Nightwing, Stormwing and rainlight"

Skytouch and Windrider where the first in Glimmer's group to shift....two toddlers sat before their mother...both with steel-grey hair and brilliant sapphire eyes. followed by Starwind and Light...both with silver-white hair and golden eyes...following suit with their mother.

Navare shifted, his long black hair was gathered at the nape of his neck....black robes of the softest velvet whispered against the crystal floor. as he watched with pride as the black younglings shifted first. followed quickly by the silvery younglings.

"yes, tomorrow we shall pay a visit to old friends." Navare said, smiling at GlimmerOne cannot assume that something that looks like an animal isn't an intelligint person~~Nor that something that looks human is more than a Beast.

The servant of Chaos, a creature unnaturally born from twirling mists, floated toward the dragon’s lair. Closer and Closer. A deafening cry of a eagle could be heard splitting the air around him. The calm air was charged and a storm invoked itself upon the land. He loved the strangeness of the storm. And then he knew he was in the presence of his lord.

'Father, I heard your spoiled childrens' underlings. They know nothing of my coming and will sweep upon them like a death plague. They want balance but only chaos they shall receive.'

There was no voice to answer but the servant knew it nonetheless.

The dawning of this insight came to him during sleep. He wondered if his Father’s commands were in a right state of mind. He knew that what Ionthas said was fact and nothing else mattered. But he never cared what happened to his minions.

Below the Dwarven mountain the servant’s brother was killed and no word came about his downfall from Ionthas. In fact his serpent like body was tried of the constant torment of his soul. Was his only purpose was to serve Ionthas, a bringer of death and of chaos?

The lost souls of this world cried for balance and equilibrium and so was his. Chaos still ruled surpreme in the heavens and his servant had no choice but to carry out the sentence of death.

Drath Thuul flew onward toward the dragon lair as the moon hung low against the backdrop of the heavens.

OOC: think I'm gonna make it easy? hehe

BIC: Suddenly Glimmer tensed....and a split second later...Navare's scales bristled. Ominous growls issued from the Reptilian throats...as their children crowded close....

Glimmer stared at Navare and they both nodded subltely....they knew that the moment their children where born...they would forever be in danger...for there was no other dragon like them....

Magics swirled and gathered en masse....spinning madly like a whirlwind....Glimmer and navare split the children up...Light, Skytouch, WindRider, and NightWing went with their mother....to remain in Ansalon...

Navare Gathered StarWind, RainLight, Stormwing, and MidnightSong with him....and returned to his land of Birth...the land far to the east of Ansalon...with the Kirioyal...he would raise his half of the brood there...in protection amung the "Irdranesti" as many Ansalonian's called them...Queen Kynia would appreciate the dragons of balance there.

Kalia ran on, her four children trailed behind her...runnning as fast as their legs could carry them. She reached the Inn of the Last home and slammed the door behind her.... Caramon stumbled out of the back room...Otik stared at her in shock.... all couldn't help but stare at the four children....one with hair of silver-white, two with long hair of steel-grey, obviously twins...and one brooding child with black hair and black eyes.

"I must take refuge here Kalendrale she said softly, her golden eyes just barely meeting Caramon's. Her once Adoptive Father stared at her for the longest moment....when SkyTouch reched up and tugged on his hair. "I'm Hungry!" the youngster said...

Caramon smiled and laughed. "you are always welcome here Kalia...always...you know that...you just, well...took us by surprise." One cannot assume that something that looks like an animal isn't an intelligint person~~Nor that something that looks human is more than a Beast.

The young knight at the table looked up from his spiced potatoes as the woman and her children burst in. His eyes went wide. What strange looking people... They were eerie, but at the same time, beautiful.

He dropped his fork and stood as Caramon conversed with them. The big man seem surprised and a bit troubled. Otik shook his head and continued cooking. Cedric grasped the hilt of his sword reassuringly. Some thing was very wrong.

He lifted up the green curtains on the paned window and gasped.

"Someones coming!" He called to Caramon.

The figure was clad in black robes. He was neither weak, nor intimidating. He was small, but at the same time enourmous. He glanced up at the Inn and Cedric froze. The eyes peirced his very soul and he staggered back.

"Someones coming!" He yelled loudly, bounding over Caramon. This caught the woman's attention.Est Sularus Oth Mithas

Kalia spun, her eyes wide with sudden fear. Three of her four children kept close to their mother....the one with dark hair and eyes stood stubbornly apart from them all. "Nylar!" She scolded, the language of the name was unfamiliar. "Stay with me!" she cried. "Silarn, Wylin, Lira! Stay with me..." Kalia's voice trembled...the fear for her children surpassed her fear of her own life...

She kept the children behind her...as she slipped up to the window, staring out at the night, her golden eyes bright with sudden terror. "Don't worry mother...We'll be fine..." came a clear sopprano voice. the little girl with the steel grey hair tugged on her mother's silver robes. Kalia started and stared down at Wylin, her twin brtoher Silarn holding her hand.

She knelt down. "of course you will...I won't allow anything to harm you...never." she said the words carefully....they where barely a day old...yet here...they seemed years beyond their age...Dragons age funny that way...born with an intelligence that surpasses any human child....

"don't worry Mother...We can help too!" Said Lira, her silver-white hair gleaming in the firelight. only Nylar remained quite, his dark eyes narrowed in obvious distrust...even for his own mother. Kalia sighed, and forced herself to rember it was the child's nature....and there was nothing she could do to change that. One cannot assume that something that looks like an animal isn't an intelligint person~~Nor that something that looks human is more than a Beast.

The dragon servant of Chaos felt the newborns' drift from his senses, but all was not lost.

'They flee O Father. They commit to the chaos which infolds them in a shadow haze. They flee but I will hunt them down one by one, until your flames release them from this world.'

Blade clasped the reins of his dragon saddle with both hands, the wind constantly threatened to blow him away. "Shine, you can slow down a bit, we're almost there." The silver dragon nodded in approval and almost instantly stopped her heavy pace. It was two days ago that the strange dragon and its children arrived at the castle. Kynia had insisted that Blade leave immediately and search out the other dragons and help them. He hated to leave her side but the future of these hatchlings had to be protected. As they swooped towards Solace the townspeople looked upon the dragon and its rider in awe. Blade quickly jumped up from his saddle and bid his companion farewell. "I will call you when the time comes," he told the dragon. The great silver leapt into the air and flew back to her homeland.

Blade stood for a moment in the center of town, he let his long flowing black hair whip in the wind behind him. His silver armor, a gift from Kynia, glowed magically in the wind. He closed his eyes for a moment and the spell came to him. "Show me where they are, I must find them soon." he muttered under his breath. "There!" he shouted, he pointed to the inn of the last home. He quickly climbed the long staircase and headed into the inn. Across the room he noticed a woman, a beautiful woman with four beautiful children standing behind a man he had not seen in many years. "Caramon, how are you? I can see by your expression you know why I am here." He strolled across the room and stood in front of them. "My lady, queen Kynia has sent me to help." Just as he spoke his armor began to glow and runes of protection appeared across its surface. "Evil draws near." He pulled his sword from its scabbard, a magical weapon almost six feet long with runes inlaid the whole length of the blade. Out of the sahdows, another gleaming blade was drawn. A tall, musular knight drew himself out from the darkness. His shoulder-length chestnut hair was untidy and tangled. He looked as though he had not slept for days.

Cedric drew his solamnic blade and let the cold steel catch the dying firelight. It glittered wickedly. He unslung his shield from his back and stepped forward to stand beside Blade.

The fire dragon’s obsidian scales stole the dim light from the red moon as his hard-labored flight carried him farther south. Moments passed and a deep scar in the land was visible. Drath Thuul landed on the cliff face and his fiery form started to change. He spoke a few words with disdain, cursing his master Ionthas, in the process.

His form left as a daemon warrior, he walked to the cliff’s edge. He eyes of magma lit up the darkness.

“Foul ash, muck stone. Foul ash, muck stone. Muck stone, foul ash.”

Against the silence a reply was made: “Spawned of the Rift at the end of the Age of Despair. But during the Age of Starbirth we are all truly born.”

Three beings parted the darkness of the Scar and floated toward their late summoner. The three were all in dark crimson robes and their eyes burst forth the only light visible.

“Bring to me the wyrms beneath thy skin.” Drath’s last words echoed in their minds. 'Beneath thy skin, beneath thy skin'. And they commanded horses from the Scar and thus the horses came with a make like fire dragons themselves.

They left the daemon warrior to his thoughts. Have I done the right thing? Drath Thuul entered the Scar and awaited the Three. In bonds they held me

Blade held his sword steady as the heavy oaken door of the inn burst open and three earth golems marched in. The creatures were nearly eight feet tall with bodies of solid granite, nearly impervious to harm. Blade knew that golems could not be here if a mage had not summoned them. "Be careful, there must be a powerful mage about," he yelled over the clamor. He made a solamnic salute to his enemies and charged them with practiced skill. He met the first golem head on swinging his sword in a high arc trying to end the fight early. The golem stepped back and his sword only knicked the hard stone that comprised his entire body. The blade still passed through the stone as if it were flesh, and a small line formed. The golem moved with grace, betraying their bulky form, and Blade had a hard time parrying a quick punch from the creature. Blade once again swung his sword and this time he struck true. The blade easily cleaved off the creatures right arm, but the attack left him unbalanced. The creature swung its left arm around and hit blade hard in the chest knocking him to the ground.

Blade was momentarily stunned from the blow, but he saw his magical breastplate was undamaged. He quickley rolled to his side to avoid another attack from the creature. The golems hand became stuck in the hard wood of the inns floor from its attack, leaving blade enough time to launch another attack. He quickly swung his blade with all his might at the creatures neck severing its head from its body. The golem fell to the floor, shaking the whole inn from the impact. "Well, that was a good workout, now for the other two." Just as he stepped away the supposedly dead golem reached out its hand and grabbed Blades leg. "Oh yeah, I forgot." He swung his sword down and cleaved off the creatures other arm. He then began to speak the words of magic and produced a ball of lightning in his hand. He heaved the bolt at the creatures body making it explode and sending bits of rock across the inn. "Thats better."We are damaged provider modules,

Drath Thuul of the Chaos felt his creature die. It had no soul but neither did Thuul. Drath wept for him and himself, for a future uncertain.

'I must compose myself. This will not be the end.'

Kalia shook off her fright and looked around. She turned to Caramon, and shoo'ed her children to the big man. "go with him children...he's your grandfather in a sense...." she said, her voice more calmer than she felt. The Twins gave her an odd look before doing as she said.

She turned. "I will not allow you to harm my children!" Her staff shimmered into existance every crystalline facet glowing with brilliant power. The third, unoccupied golem caught the brunt of the light, and staggered, falling out through the door, crashing to the ground below.

"Do not let them out of your sight!" she cried as she raced after the fallen golem...knowing full well that such a fall wouldn't harm it.

What? So we cannot fight for ourselves old one?

The dark-haired child looked up at Caramon with eyes like pools of pure obsidian. Then a smile cracked his face faintly, but Cameron only felt more nervous for some reason.

Frowning she clapped her hands....and instantly the shadow returned to it's rightful place. she turned to Nylar, clearly realy to scold the child when she shook her head and sighed. She turned to Blade and smiled.

"Thank you friend...our mutual friend told me much about you...It's amazing that you got here so Quickly. I must assume my mate sent you by magic?" She smiled and held the man's hand for a short moment. Her eyes once again straying to Nylar...warning the child not to keep up with his pranks.

OOC Is it OK if I join in?

Kahlu awoke to the sound of heavy pounding, like an earthquake. But that was unusual, since there hadn't been any earthquakes in Solace before, or so he heard. Oh well.
He quickly got out of bed, but did not dress of change clothes. He wore light deerskin trousers, that went down to mid thigh.
His light brown hair was shoulder length, and decorated with many colourful beads and a pure white goose feather.

He was bare chested, bronzed skin. His eyes were hazel, and bright with youth. Kahlu was 17 summers, a Que-Kiri barbarian from the Plains of Dust. He was tall and well built, like the rest of his kin.
He had a scant few possesions. Among them an expertly made bow, and a quiver of hawk-feather arrows. He was an expert archer, as were many of his kin.
But he was exceptionally so, and dubbed Hawk-Eye. Kahlu Hawk-Eye.

The sun was shining strong, so he guessed he had been sleeping much later than he had anticipated. Quickly, he snatched a pouch from a chest at the foot of his bed, and walked into the hall.
He could smell Otik's famous spiced potatoes cooking, and his nose twitched in anticipation. His stomach grumbled as if to agree. It was time to eat. In no time, he had made his way down to the commonroom, and was seated at a table by the window.

He looked out to see the people of Solace already busy with the daily work. That's when the woman with her children came bustling into the Inn, greated by Caramon.
They seemed to know each other well, and he smiled at the mother as she passed him on the way in.
The children that followed were a peculiar lot, one with raven hair and ebony eyes, two others with steely-gray eyes and hair.

Then he remembered the pounding, and it sounded again. A big rock beast then appeared at the door of the Inn, and he started up, cocking his bow. It would have little effect on a beast of stone, but still he held his ground, watching it warily.
Some beast of sorcery, he thought. Then a strange woman came in, who looked to be a sorceress, but he couldn't elaborate. He didn't know what a sorceress was supposed to look like.

He had seen the brother of Caramon, a sickly man with robes of black. He had a golden skin, and strange hourglass eyes.
But he didn't scorn him. Kahlu was tought to never judge people because of the way they look. Even though he had a rather foul mood, Kahlu had been nice to him, and he ended up liking Raistlin. And vice versa. He only hoped he would come and help deal with the situation. "You cannot reach them. We tried once, yes, precious. I tried once;
but you cannot reach them. Only shapes to see, perhaps, not to touch.
No precious! All dead." -Gollum

Cedric leaned heavily on his sword hilt, gasping for air. Blood dripped freely from a wound in his side. His chainmail there was torn and covered in blood. Ignoring worried glances of the others in the inn, stepped away from the golem.

The proud solamnic stood tall and grimaced as another spasm of pain ripped through his wound. He wiped his blade clean, it was dirtied from the hard material of the golem, and sheathed it solemnly.

He would not be of much help to these incredible fighters. He looked upon his fellow solamnic with envy of his skills. Blade, was his name.

Blade slowly sheathed his sword, not knowing what this newcomer wanted. He was suspicious of a mage entering the inn and instantly knowing what she was dealing with. Blades body ached from the golems attack, but it would subside soon. He had been through many battles and none had ever ended so quickly. Kalia's skill with magic, Blade knew, came from her dragon heritage, but this newcomer should not have been able to defeat the last golem so easily. Blade protectively followed Kalia to the newcomer and confronted her. "My lady, I thank you for your help." He stated, still suspicious of the woman but he was willing to give her a chance. The woman of bright colored clothes looked upon them with great interest, a small smile upon her face.

"I see this place and I wonder why the gods created such. The people, good, evil or neutral. All have souls and all are born from one. Yet they turn away from him. I ask just a simple question. Why do you seek balance? I see what you have created to protect it. Why risk your very lives to save it? Receive me in your welcoming arms, for that I might learn of your ways."

She stared upon their faces: bloody, dirty or clean. Her eyes lit up, but only for a second.

"And who I am is none of your concern, or maybe it is. I not from this world but I am born from the god who created all of it."

Her eyes lit up yet again and they seemed to be made of fire....Can I be as my God am,

OOC: Kalia i'm just gonna use Du'Kuli, its been a while since i have.

IC: Silver moonlight glistened on blue skin, casting a soft sheen over him. His sapphire eyes sparkled, his blue hair streaked sliver now, not only by moonlight. His Sword of Gales hung at his side, his most prized possession. It had been tempered by blood and battle, rain, wind and lightning, to come out strong and faithful to him.

The grace bestowed upon all elves aided him as he balanced on the thinner of the tree branches, delicate as snow flakes under his cat like stance. Leaping off, a small gust kicked up, whipping his hair and stirring his shirt. He landed softly, making but a whisper as his feet tocuhed the leaf littered ground. The lights of the Inn where a welcoming site. Warmth would seep into his bones and the mild chill receed at its touch.

Walking the winding staircase and crossing the bridge. He pulled a long cloak from his sack, doned it, and pulled the hood over his head, lost in shadows, only the moonlight sparkled in his eyes, the only evidence that a face was there, and not just darkness.

Opening the Inn door, his leather booted feet softly crossed the threshold. He sat at the nearest table, and rested a hand on the wooden table, the surface hand been polished to a shine, refleecting the candle lights. A single band of silver graced his index finger, on his right hand, it was a memory, of a distant rage.

Calling over the bar maid, he ordered wine and cheese.Come see my site : http://pub63.ezboard.com/bthedream60488

Kahlu watched as the blue-skinned man sat and ordered wine and cheese while everyone else was standing battle-ready, to confont the could-be hostile woman at the front of the Inn. Then, she said that she was here only to learn of the ways of balance. Puzzled, Kahlu lowered his bow, but didn't relax it. He glanced at Kalia. "What shall we do with thees woman?" he asked in a heavy accent in common. He decided to ask her, since he heard she was a dragon. She must be very powerful indeed.

His ears twitched under his hood as he listened to the conversation. His lips pressed to the glass of spiced wine, not as good as elven wine, but he had aquired the taste for it over the years. Taking a rather auidble swallow, his eyes veered to the actions taking place. He didn't like the stances that they adopted....trouble would surely insue. A slight breeze entered through an open window, words whispered in his ears, tumbled about his mind. Eyes wide, he stared at the women, eyes of gold and her hair of the silver moon. He had best watch her, aid her....shaking his head....why? He knew not, the thought was implanted there, he wouldn't be rid of it anytime soon, of that he could be certain.

Standing up, he treaded lightly over to the group. With a worried glance directed at both newcomers, Cedric sheathed his solamnic blade. He stood back and stroked his long mustache nervously. He slung his dented shield over his back.

"Kharas," he said to Blade, using the solamnic word for knight, " You're right, we should leave, away from this place..."

His words were cut off with a firey glare from the strange woman. He tried to return the gaze with a stern face but broke under it's eerie power. He lowered his head, his shoulder-length chetnut hair fell about his paled features and concealed his weakness.

He looked up and glanced at the blue-skinned elf. He was a strange one, possibly a sea elf? Cedric pondered this for a moment. The fellow seemed trusting enough, after all, he wanted to help the lady. But this magic-user woman, he did not trust. He distruted all users of magic, but tolerated them nonetheless, but this one was different.

A worried cry brought him from his thoughts. One of the cildren was gone.

Blade looked around frantically for the lost child, but Nylar was nowhere to be seen. "Cedric, please stay with Kalia and the other children, I shall look for Nylar." The child could not have possibly slipped out of the front of the inn, too many people would have noticed him. Blade looked over the commonroom quickly and noticed the door to the kitchen was wide open. He rushed through the door nearly trampling the barmaid in the process. He grabbed the frightened woman, "My lady, did you see a small child walk through here a moment ago." The woman was too scared to speak but she pointed towards the back door of the inn. Blade rushed through the door and was met with an access ladder that lead out the back of town. He quickly descended the ladder, but stopped at the base. "If he is hiding I will never find him. But there is always a way." He closed his eyes and let the magic flow through his body, the words came to him quickly as always. The simple detect magic spell quickly found the child nearby, at the stables.

Blade ran as fast as he could to the stables and found the child sitting near a horse, gently patting its mane. "Nylar, you should never leave your mothers sight. The gods only know what could have happened...." his words were cut off by a high pitched screech that was awful to hear. Blade swung around, sword in hand, only to be confronted by a wyvern. A foul beast, kin to dragons, that only craved death. The creature was about six feet in length and had a barbed tail that contained a deadly posion that could kill any man. It swung its tail hard at Blade, nearly slicing into his head. Blade brought his sword up slicing off one of its wings leaving it helpless on the ground. He carefully walked towards the creature to finish it off, keeping as far from its barbed tail as possible. One quick slash with his sword ended its life, but from the skies above he heard a similar screech, followed by a dozen more. Blade looked up, and for the first time in years he knew fear. Nearly two dozen more wyverns were swooping in to destroy the knight that killed their brethern. Blade scooped Nylar up in his arms and raced back towards the inn, not daring to look back.We are damaged provider modules,

The woman did not fan the flames with this blue-hued man in front of her. She let the matters drop and seemed intent with observing the choatic beings from afar.

The woman stood watching as the events developed, laughing silently to herself. These people did not trust her and she very well knew it.

Blade rushed out of the room in search of the missing child. Everyone seemed in a state of panic and turmoil. Her tortured mind felt no ease of late and she would probably never be the same. She questioned her orders constantly, as if she was caught riding a never-ending flux.

To the suprise of Blade, the dark haired boy struggled out of his grasp and stood facing the wyverns. Then he threwback his head and let rip in a tounge that Blade had never heard. It was reptillian, sibilant and harsh, with some ancient underlying power, of men only the twisted minds of wizards could comprehend Draconic. But Nylar was a dragon, and a breed above the Wyverns winging towards him. At his yell the Wyverns pulled up short and landed, one barking at the boy in a slightly more avian form of the Draconic tounge.

Without warning the boy was enveloped in a shimmering haze of darkness, which shrouded him briefly before dissipating and revealing the polymorphed Nylar n his true form. The dragon was a little large than a horse, his scales not black as such, but a kind of translucent opal, as if he had been carved out of that precious stone.

Black flame licked either side of his mouth as he sent a mental message back to his mother,

Kahlu sighed, wishing he was anywhere but here. Standing a slight distance away from the stable, his bow was cocked an ready. He aimed carefully at the abdomen of the creatures, their weakest spot. He knew this from experience.

The wyverns were standing there, waving their weapons. But something was wrong. He looked into their eyes, and saw something strange. Their eyes were too inteligent, and unlike the usually thick headed wyverns. Then he noticed something else. Something moved in the darker part of the stable. The sound of chanting, and the very faint smell of rose petals and bat guano. He wasn't mistaken.

Another mage, he thought. This can be taken care of swiftly. As he neared, the smell and chanting got louder. He an elderly man, wearing the black robes of darkness. He was deep in the spell, so he couldn't hear him approaching. Not that he would have, even if it was dead quiet and in a field of crackling dead grass. So he was trained in the arts of stealth.
His sang, as an arrow embedded instelf in the mages heart. Instantly, he faltered from the unexpected blow, and looking back, he saw the illusion waver. The wyverns diseappared, and in their stead was a band of armoured mercaneires, waving swords and grunting.

They didn't know yet that the illusion, a powerful one to mask even their voices to sound draconic, masking them had diseappeared. He waited and watched, as the child/dragon transformed into hius true form, that of a beautiful dragon with a diamond hard black sheen. Then falter when he saw a group of mercaneries waving swords around. He too had been fooled by the illusion. Then he thought, how could one mage be so powerful? Then it hit him.

A blast of pure magical energy hit him in the back. He stumbled forward, and fell into a mound of hay. He winced in pain, and just as he stood up, a grasp of cold envelopped him, sending him down on his knees. Pain wracked his body, in alternating jolts of cold and heat. Two other mages stepped out from the shadows, both wearing the black robes. His bow lay by his feet, but he couldn't get himself to get it. Cedric was about to stop the brightly dressed woman but his hand stopped and began shaking. The sound of eerie chanting in the sipery, flowing language of magic became all too apparent. He spun on his heel and backed the woman and her remaining children away from the black robe.

The mage sneered and continued waving his hands, a strange, dark energy flowed about his fingers. Then, Cedric was thrown into a nearby table as a dark orb of pure evil energy struck him full in the chest.

The table cracked and shattered under his weight, sending the helpless knight sprawling to the ground. A moan of agony sounded from his lips. His armor was scorched and melted, and the smell of burning flesh filled the room. He attempted to stand, but fell with a sigh of pain, his sword clasped tightly in his bloody hand.

OOC: I am setting this up so that the young dragons will mature quickly. but still hold most of their long lives ahead of them. their minds are already that of a mature dragon...and it will take little time for their bodies to catch up. it has to do with the magics that thier parents used while the wyrmlings where still within their eggs.

BIC: Glimmer's eyes narrowed as she watched the mages closely. Lira looked over to the fallen knight...one who so bravely tried to protect them. She curled around the knights inert form and rested her head lightly on his chest.

Glimmer blinked....her attention completely stolen away from the mages....and captured entirely by her daughter. When the light faded....the young wyrmling was back in her human form....only now...she seemed older....

The young girls' hair was long, and still a bright silver-white. She was dressed in a long white dress....where before she seemed a toddler of no more than three....she now seemed a child of 7. Cedric's head rested in the child's lap...her eyes still closed...her face filled with a serene peace.

"Wh-who are..." He recqonized this girl. She was one of Kalia's children. But much older...

Cedric bolted up and retrieved his blade from the ground, he winced, clutching the recently healed wound. His armor was scorchd and melted, ruined, he presumed.

"Thank you, m'lady. You have my eternal gratitude. And I give you my word as a knight, that I will not let any harm come to you or your kin!"

With a swirl of his torn cloak, the knight rushed the mage, who was deep in concentration. There was brilliant flash of steel and the mage gasped, blood coming to his lips. He slumped to the ground and died, but Cedric had already moved to another target.

Dozens of armed mercenaries were atacking the dragons and the knight below. He also saw a bowman fending off quite a few. with the knight's salute, Cedric leapt to the stairs below and rushed to the trunk of the vallenwood..."Est Sularus Oth Mithas"

The woman stood there and watched in keen interest at the surrounding chaos. She loved it, but then again she utterly despised it. Her tormented mind sought for something but she could think what it would be.

She saw Cedric fall to the floor with a loud ‘bang’. She lifted her sight to the dead mage across the room, he lay faced down in a pool of his own vital fluids.

She was just intent to observe, but a mercenary came to close. Bad mistake. Her anger flew and fire screamed in her eyes to be set free. She could not control it, something her father bred her from. Her disguise failed and her form began to change.

Confusion, epiphany, anger. All seemed a blur that time left behind. Chaos, a foul taste that could not escape.

Her form shifted, eyes glowing the color of deepest hell, into a man made pure obsidian scales. In the cracks in the scales glowed like lava and the heat that radiated from him seemed to melt the wooden walls. A smell of sulfur held strongly in the air.

A daemon warrior stood against the mercenary. Drath Thuul stood against them.

He raised a flaming sword that appeared out of nowhere. The mercenary stood there terrified then his head rolled to the floor. The blood did not flow, since the heat from the sword seared his wounds clean.

He killed many who dared to stand up to him. In mad haze he raised his sword against Cedric. He hesitated and his fire seemed to dim only but a second. He turned and battled the mercenaries on without another look toward Cedric. Thuul had use for him yet.You insult me in my home

Nylar roared his rage as the illusion shimmered and the mercenaries were revealed. Tricked! He had been tricked! With an unexpected speed he leapt forward, claws like knives tearing through the flesh of the mercenarys as his fanged jaw closed around the head of another. Then he reared back and bellowed out a stream of fire - but this fire gave no heat, as was made of a thousand shades of darkness. Where it struck the flesh of one mercenary it withered his flesh, until he was nothing but bones which crumpled to dust.

Somehow as his fire drained all life from anything it struck, Nylar seemed to grow slightly. No-one could see him grow, but if one was to blink, it would appear that he had grown whilst the watcher's eyes were shut. His eyes, like sheets of obsidian gazed down at the mercenaries and his fnaged maw threw out a gutteral roar of challenge, followed by a spurt of the burning darkness.

The fool of a demon warrior. She asks why we fight for balence and not chaos. She speaks as though balence and chaos are opposite, they are not. For order is the foe of chaos. There is order in balence, but there is no balence in order. Balence is good and evil, chaos and order, life and death, entropy and growth. Balence is everything."Ah, they have a cave troll....."

Drath Thuul, the daemon warrior, stood his ground while more mercanaries poured in. He fought on never thinking about it. He was mindless in his bloodshed.

He sliced and man in half with his flaming sword who had his back turned. He flew to the floor disembolwed.

More laid claimed to him as they were all in a mad craze. All of a sudden a huldrefolk popped into extistance across the room...You insult me in my home
You're forgiven this time
Things go well, your eyes dilate
You shake, and I'm high?
Look in my eyes deep and watch
The clouds change with time

Airiana

OOC:
...Okay. This is a little weird.... but, whatever.

BIC:
Airiana stood at the base of a large Vallenwood, guarding her friend Crystalamira and her children. Three of the four, at least. The dark one had gone missing, but there seemed to be a greater threat where the others were, so Airiana did not go looking for him. 'After all,' she thought to herself. 'With as many people as are guarding Crystalamira, someone is looking after the One of the Dark Scales.'

Airiana, in her true form, that of a 150 foot tall, 100 foot long Silver/Red hybrid Dragon, was on guard. She was protecting Crystalamira while the others battled with the mercenaries(SP?). Whenever one came too close, or got by Glimmer's companions, Airiana let her Dragonbreath take care of the mere mortal. A blast of fiery-ice would hit them: first seering them with a fire so hot that it melted away flesh and muscle, then the cold hit them. It froze whatever was left of the once-mercenaries.

Looking behind her, Airiana noticed that the young Dragon of Light had aged. She no longer looked like a toddler, but a young child instead. Resting on her lab lie the valiant knight who was protecting them. Quickly, Kilandralsilvantaslik, for that was Airiana's true name, sent a message to Crystalamira. 'Crystalamira, is everything all right back there? I will do anything to help save thee and thy children.. Warn me if any of these vile creatures come too close!' At that point, Airiana looked back at the fray(SP?) and noticed one of the mercenaries charging in her direction. She quickly dispatched of him and looked around for another opponent.

known to most as Airiana, the Abomination, and Last of the Silver/Red Dragons

Yeah, its pretty werid, but hey its fantasy nonetheless!

BIC:
Drath Thuul eased his way to the huldre. A being not born from this world. It tensed when it seen him.

"Ah! Stay back! I will kill you if you do!" It said in a high-pitched tone.

"What!? A skinny little thing like you? Hah. Have you come for the children?"
'Then I seen the love in her eyes. And then I knew. I knew.... I couldn't help but smile.'

OCC: I will not let this story die!

BIC:
Drath Thuul of the East Command Legion looked suspiciously at the huldre standing in front of him. The huldre’s naked body was a deep gray and his big black beady eyes looked sadden if only for a moment. The battle with the mercenaries came to a complete standstill. Dead bodies littered the Inn’s blood-soaked floors.

“I do not come for the children as you say. But I seek to bestow onto them wonderful gifts.” The huldrefolk answered. His long thin fingers traced images in the thin air.

“Do what you will with them I don’t care. The chaos runs freely here as if a fresh wound has been bleeding for ages. It has been long since I saw you last. The magic you conjure is refreshing to behold. But if you remember I wanted to destroy you, but still you would not be defeated.”

Thuul’s idle mouth spit words that did not want to surface.

“In a way, who defeated me. You have spread a disease into my mind. A deadly disease only known as ‘doubt’. If Ionthas finds out, he would surely destroy me as I stand.”

He looked at the dragon and the ones she was trying to protect. Balance, if nothing else, must be maintained. The confusion still buzzed quietly in their weary minds.

The huldre followed the gaze while his small body remained floating slightly above the wooden floor. The dead bodies started to reek. “I do seek to bestow them gifts, for they are mere protectors of all magic. Even mine, that which is not of this world.”
Old Tom Bombadil is a merry fellow,
Bright blue his jacket is, and his boots are yellow.
None has ever caught him yet, for Tom, his is the master:
His songs ar stronger songs, and his feet are faster.
