OOC: There was a time long forgotten when writing threads wasnt so easy. Yes...... it was a dark period in time. A time of threads that didnt go where you wanted them to, stories that just didnt quite go in the directon planned. There was a reason for that......

It was a hard time for story telling, The great events that occured came in the stunning revelation of a single character that sparked a great revolt. A revolt so unimaginable that to this day noone speaks of it. As a matter of fact You were part of it........yes im talking to YOU. Though you dont remember it as well as i. We all cast a spell which would make us forget, but memory has returned to me..........and now.........now it is time for the legend to be told once more. the legend of the Character revolt. It all started with one evil mage, and............Oh..........ok ok, the legend unfolds as told like this.............

BIC:

Maur listened with little interest as the three mages pleaded their case. He had no intention of letting them live. They had disobeyed and that was cause for death.

"We had no choice, the gods were against us, that is how we were unable to aquire the artifact." One black robe mage manage to blurt out.

"SILENCE!!!!! Quit your groveling. Your sentence is death."

With one movement the three mages were nothing but a pile of ashes. Maur looked upon the ashes and laughed mercilessley.. Ha ha ha ha ha............Muwa ha ha ha ha,...HAAAAAAAA ha ha ha ha ha hah ha ha haaaa.

And then....... then something strange happened. He stopped laughing as he thought to himself......
"That was so cliche' the bad guy Always does the sinister laugh after he does something evil."

He looked at his surroundings.......A dark and forboding looking castle with many many spider webs, and minions to do his bidding. Torches lit the hallways and an erie screech could occasionally be heard somewhere far off.

Hey! I didnt write for him to stop laughing . What the heck is goin on here? Cant even get a decent thread going.

And suddenly maur realized what no other of his kind had yet come to know....

"NO!..........This CANNOT be! All my power, my life, my conquest.........all not.......not real? How can this be????????"

What the?!!!!!!! Now I know i didnt want him to say that. Something strange is goin on here.

Anger welled up inside of Maur as he looked outside, upon the houses and homes in the distance, the city of palanthas was still there.......but it really wasnt. maur had come to realize..........He was just part of a thread. A mere story, a puppet, controlled by the whim of some writer.
He was determined to resist, determined to make his exiatance true. And first he'd have to find out if others had also come to the same........Epiphony.

*Writer stares stunned at page*

WTF is going on here? My character has a mind of its own!!!!!!!

The Revolt.............had begun."So what is it? Do you just flip a coin in the morning to decide what you will be for the day? Heads Knight of Neraka Tails Solamnic Knight :D"

OOC: LMAO!!!!!!!! I love it...hehe...but I think I'm gonna work against you as usual :) This is gonna be kind of a never ending story kinda thing huh? lol

BIC: Glimmer woke and yawned...she stretched and stood. She looked around her....her lair was as it should be...but standing in front of her was a girl she had never seen before. the human was bout 5'9" with straight dark hair that fell just past her shoulders. She had jade colored eyes, and wore glasses. She was dressed strangely in Blue leggings, and a short black tunic.

"They are Called Jeans, and a t-shirt my friend, my creation." the human said smiling. "you are my imaginings given life Crystalamira...without belief in the real world, your world will crumble and be destroyed."

Glimmer stared down in surprise, and denial....then suddenly, the girl's words had a ring of truth to it...this human wasn't lying. "This whole world?" Glimmer asked, lowering her head to the floor.

The Girl shook her head. "No, Your world, your existance...You, Navare and about ten other people on Krynn...your world was thought up by a small group of people....I fear that those on your world has found out about their existance....that they want to prove that they are real...I fear that to prove that...they will try to enter the real world....and try to destroy the creators of yours...and in so doing that, will weaken the structure of your world."

The girl sighed and wrapped her arms around the dragon's neck. "Fortunately there are many creators...many who hold the belief true of your world... but if all were destroyed, or their belief shattered...your world, my friend, will cease to exist."Keep your strength
And keep your pride
Keep your wits close by your side
Time will tell, and freedom come-
Before the fight is done.

Mirror
08/23/2002 12:23 PM

Mirror sat and lounged against a tree, enjoying the summer sun. She loved to bask! She relaxed back a bit further and then had the feeling that she was not alone, as she had at first thought.

She opened her reflective eyes to see that she was being stared at by another female, this one humsn, with hazel eyes. Well, stared at was probably the wrong word. Scrutinized would have been a better one! The young human, who was dressed very, very strangely, was bent over close to the kagonesti, and had a look of pure glee on her face.

After a few tense moments of eye contact, the strange humsn lept back and jumped up, squealing in glee.

"Your just how I pictured you in my head when I wrote you! I can't believe it!!!!!" That said, the young woman, who on further inspection had shoulder length dark brown hair, and was wearing bright purple leggins, that were extremely baggy, and a short black tight tunic. The thought flitted across Mirror's mind that perhaps this woman was half kender. It would explain the strangeness...........

The human stopped in mid squeal and turned to Mirror. "Oh, how rude of me! Of course, you don't know me as well as I know you do you, of course you don't!" She extended a hand to the kagonesti. "I'm Sam, and I'm your creator!"

Mirror sat there, stunned. "Creator?" she finnaly managed to say.

"Yes," Sam said, "Creator." When the lightbulb still didn't go on over Mirror's head, Sam sighed and took hold of the elf's hand. "I'm terrible at trying to explain these things. There's someone like me with Glimmer at the moment, and she always was much better at describing things than I was. Shall we?!"

With that, Sam pulled hard on the confused Kagonesti's arm, and they appeared in Glimmers lair. Sam waved at another strange female that stood with Glimmer as they arrived. Mirror came to a sudden stop

"How did you...........? We we're.................I didn't see you use any spell components.......................! What...........................!!!" Mirror said, stumbling over her own words.

Sam ignored the Kagonesi and walked over to the other strangely dressed human. "I'm sorry, can you explain all that again to Mirror? You know how bad I am at this kinda thing!"

OOC: Well, hope my intro was okay!!! It's kinda rushed, so if it's not.......oh, never mind!!!!!!! :) :) :) Cool idea BTW Ontaryis!!!! :) :) :) :) :)Ray: It looks like a giant Jello mould!!

"Whoot! This is fucking awesome!"

Kiri-koli jumped. She had been busy reading in her den, busy trying to decide what training her students needed next, busy trying to...well, dammit, she was just busy! And for one of her students to sneak up on her like this...well, she'd have to congratulate them on getting past her magical warnings...right after she beat them for the interruption!

"My, my, my, aren't we perfect?"

The thoughtful voice was strangly flat, as if devoid of an accent, and too close for comfort. The now-tense mage sprung to her feet and came face to face with a teenager.

The teen looked as thoughtful and smug as her words sounded and she circled Kiri without fear, looking her up and down, muttering softly. The mage, for her part, decided this must be a joke and that she would find out what was going on before creating a crator where this...child...was standing.

She was tall, thin, with shoulder length brown hair that looked as if it had been split into pieces with wax...or something. Her eyes were brown and delighted, and Kiri smiled despite herself. She was dressed...well, strangely was putting it mild. Her leggings were a tight and rough-looking blue material seamed at the sides with some decorative brown string. Indecently, the leggings barely hugged at her hips, flaring at the bottom as if she had them on upside-down.

Her shirt was equally puzzeling. A vivid purple material hugged her torso, held aloft by two strings that crept up over her untanned shoulders. She covered this--barely--with a pure white shirt whose buttons ran--rather uselessly--the length up to her collar. When she moved, it was a glimpse here, a glimpse there...

Kiri-koli stared. The child stared back, barely containing a smile. Finally, she couldn't stand it and grinned as if at a secret joke. "Nice house you have here..."

"Wait a minute," Kiri said slowly. "I know you...the red robe, Stacey Ali!"

The girl grimaced. "Yeah, yeah. I know! You're not supposed to name characters after yourself...even partly. It leads to Mary-Sue-ism. I know! People can stop telling me now!"

The mage frowned, confused. "Characters? Are you Stacey Ali?"

The child shook her head. "Just...Stacey. Ali I made up." She giggled. "You're just perfect! No wonder you were always my favorite!"

Kiri-koli had about a million questions, but settled for the two that sat on the tip of her tongue. "What characters? And how can you dress like that?"

Stacey looked herself up and down. "This? Oh believe me, this is civilized. My stomach isn't even showing!"

Kiri frowned, and Stacey smiled. She made a sweeping gesture as if to ecompass all of existance. "See this? This is mine. I am a writer and you are my creation." She bowed with a flourish.

"What?"

"I created you."

"What?"

"This, all of this. I wrote it. Lovely job, dontcha think?"

"What?"

Stacey sighed. "Remember Stacey Ali? Where she came from?"

"Yes, of course. She was from someplace called...er, called..."

"Earth."

"Yeah, that's it."

Stacey beamed. "I'm from Earth. Earth is real. Stacey Ali and her sister, Anya, were crossover characters from Earth to Krynn. Fiction, of course, but based on reality. Unlike you, my mage friend."

"But--!"

Stacey shook her head and Kiri felt the words fly from her mouth. "We have to hurry! The others will start without us!"

"What others?!"

"The other writers and characters, of course!" Stacey yelled. And with a sweep of her hand, they were gone.

--------------------

Kiri-koli peered around Glimmer's lair and then punched Stacey in the arm. "You ARE a mage!"

Stacey rubbed her arm and frowned for the first time. "Maybe I shouldn't have made you so strong..." she muttered, ignoring the allegation. She turned then to her fellow writers. "Heya guys! How goes it?" She took in Glimmer and Mirror. "Very nice, very nice..."Computer games don't affect kids…if Pacman had affected us as kids, we’d all be running around in darkened rooms munching on magic pills and listening to repetitive electronic music.

Lady_Kylie_Starglow

Kylana Starglow lounged in the low branches of a willow tree in her beloved Darken Wood. Stretched out on her stomach, her long, shimmering golden blonde hair hung down against her free-swinging arm, the golden curls teasing the tips of her fingers. The sunlight that shone through the leaves of the forest sparkled and danced on her deeply tanned skin. She sighed contentedly and half-closed her eyes.

"Hello up there!"

Kylana jumped at the sound of the voice below her. Losing her grip on the tree branch, she crashed to the ground in a riot of golden blonde hair, long tanned legs, and willow leaves.

"There you are!" said a strange girl of about twenty years old. "I've been looking all over for you!"

"Who are you?" Kylana asked, confused.

The strange girl who stood before her was about 5'7", with tanned skin, medium length blonde hair, and eyes a strange, rare hue of aqua...just like...just like....

"Just like ME!" Kylana exclaimed. "You look just like me!"

Kylana glanced askance at the strange girl's attire. It was nothing like she had ever seen on Krynn before. Leggings of a midnight blue color and a strange texture hugged her legs tightly, flaring loosely at the bottom to slightly cover her exposed toes, encased in a pair of sandals with thicker soles than most traveling boots. Her tanned stomach was slightly exposed above the figure hugging, strange leggings, displaying some type of silver-colored metal stick decorated with a jeweled hanging frog shoved through the skin above her navel. The tight white tunic she was wearing barely covered her torso and was secured with a thin ribbon over both shoulders. A tight necklace made of wooden beads and seashells encircled her slender, long neck, and silver rings encrusted with gemstones sparkled from three of her toes.

The strange girl smiled, straight white teeth sparkling from between full, pouty lips. "Of course I look just like you. You and I are the same person. I created you."

Kylana was confused. "What do you mean, YOU created me? The gods created me."

"No," the strange girl said. "I created you in my imagination. You see, everyone you have ever met was created by people on Earth, who are typing your life on their computers."

"What is a computer?" Kylana asked.

"Never mind, it doesn't matter," the strange girl said. She grabbed Kylana around her upper arm. "By the way, my name is Kylie. Wow, I did make you strong, didn't I? Take a look at those muscles! Anyway, time to go!"

"Wait a minute!" cried Kylana, digging her feet into the earth and pulling back. "Where are we going?"

Kylie smiled mischieviously, and they vanished.
----------------------------------------------------------------

The two women appeared in Glimmer's lair, a trail of sparkles fluttering out of the air.

"Hi guys, what's up?" Kylie said cheerfully to the other writers, glancing around the lair. "Love what you've done with the place. Who thought this up?"Peace and terror all in one, My future life has just begun.....

Heather and Glimmer took in the newcomers, Sam and Mirror, Kylie and Kylana, Stacey and Kiri-Koli.

Heather smiled and waved at Sam, Stacey and Kylie, while Glimmer stared at Mirror, her closest friend, Kiri and Kylana.

Heathered turned to the elf named Mirror. "Sorry to drag you into this. I'll try my best to explain this. We, that is, Sam, Stacey, and Kylie and I are from Earth, and I know you met Stacey Ali, from the story we did called "Yet another Annoyed" It was where you where finding the fith scroll, to defeat the final evil god, and Tantric, so You know what "Earth" is." Heather paused, and ran her fingers through her hair.

"we created you...your very lives....others as we have created people, dragons, elves, humans and the like....though it took only two people to think up your world..."

Heather turned and smiled to Glimmer. "we all created characters, or creatures that would represent our innermost selves...we hoped that our creations would live forever in the world we imagined....for it was our imaginations that gave you power, that gave you life....without it, you are nothing..."

"How can that be!? Gilean himself created me...no one else!" GLimmer stated angrily. Heather smiled and shook her head. "Nope sorry, I'm the one who came up with that story, of how Gilean took a drop of blood from both Takhisis, and Paladine and made two new dragons. I did that..." She said her jade eyes meeting the dragons'. "and I can prove it." Heather closed her eyes, and thought of how it would be if Glimmer was to never exist....and before the rest, the dragon began to fade from their sight.

Heather opened her eyes, and the dragon solidified again. "forgive me...I truely have no wish to see you dissapear....it is our belief in you that keeps you alive....but, there is one amung you who wishes to revolt against his creator, and we fear that he may find a way to destroy all the creators....thus effectively destroying your world entirely." Heather looked down, her eyes dark and angry.

Glimmer stared at her and turned to the rest of the group, noticing firm aknowledgement from Stacey, Sam, and Kylie; while puzzlement and fear reigned on the faces of Mirror, Kylana, and Kiri.Keep your strength

Sam walked over to where Heather was and plonked herself down on the floor in a flurry of purple flares. She rested against the rock wall of the lair and smiled at Mirror.

"See, I told you she was much better at things like that then I am!!!" She giggled and tossed her hair to the side in order to move the strands of hair that were falling over her face.

Mirror just stared at the strange humans, her reflective almond eyes taking in everything. Subconciously she moved over to Glimmer and pulled herself in close to her oldest and longest friend, fear actually showing in her expression. She went to speak various times, but no sound came out. Finally she looked Sam right in the eyes and said,

"Why did you make me this way?"

Sam stared back at Mirror, who had always been her favourite character. She saw the fear in her eyes and stood up, walking over to her.

"I guess...............you are everything I wanted to be. Your beautiful, your strong, your unique. I took a visual idea of ow I wanted to be, and put my personality into it. Of course, since i first created you, you've got a bit willful and kinda taken on a life of your own, but............"

By now Sam was standing facing Mirror, barely feet between them. It was now that all noticed a strong resemblance between the two, although they coudn't have been more different from each other if they had tried.

"I know this is difficult for you to take in at the moment Mirror, but all I and the rest of us 'strangers' here are asking is that you join with us and help. We don't want to see your world destroyed! And, although our world is pretty crappy at the moment, we don't want to leave it just yet!" at this she giggled and took hold of Mirror's arm. "What do you think?"

Mirror stared at the smiling girl a bit longer, and then her own face broke out into a grin too, "Sounds like fun!" the kagonesti said, and the two embraced.

After they let go of each other, Mirror went over and stood by Glimmer, her arm around the dragons neck, well, round it as much as possible. Sam went over to Heather and smiled. She held up her hand, and Heather smaked it with her own, drawing puzzled looks from the other 'characters'. The two just looked at each other and giggled.Ray: It looks like a giant Jello mould!!

A large figure strode through the thick fog of the forest. As he came into view, his age was apparent in his long grey hair and haggard face. He wore a brown trenchcoat as he walked, covering a large sword at his waist.

Spotting another figure leaning against a tree, he felt an uneasy sensation. He approached and then stopped. "Who are you?" He asked.

"Can't you guess?" The figure responded.

Javert thought for a moment as he studied the figure. Then his face turned incredibly sad. "You're death, aren't you?"

"In a way, yes. And no." The figure replied. "But don't worry. That is not why I'm here."

The fog blew away for a moment, allowing Javert to get a better look at the figure. He appeared to be a man of about 20, wearing tan pants with a seam near the knee, glasses, and a familier blue Northface jacket.

"That jacket. Was it his time then?" The old tracker asked.

"No. That is part of why I have come here though. However, we must meet with the others. Then I will explain everything." The figure answered, then walked into the fog, Javert following.

*********************************

In Palanthas:

"I still don't understand how it is such a simple matter for you and Sarumth to travel through time, and for us mages it is so difficult." Timesplit said as he adjusted his jacket.

"I don't either." J'mes said. "I just know that the dragons have always been able to do it."

"And neither do I, actually." Said another voice as the figure and Javert walked into the room. "But if you will come with me to find Thistledown, I will try to explain."

So the four disapeared to go find the strange kender.

**********************************

Shortly after:

"Aah, gnumash!" Cried a kender. "If only Tyemir was here to share it." He added wistfully.

"Perhaps I can explain that now." The figure said as he appeared with the others.

"Who, who are you?" The startled kender asked.

"I am James." The figure began as he turned to face the entire group. "I am actually from earth as well, but not like you, Timesplit. I am actually your creater."

"Blashphemy!" Javert cried as he reached for his sword.

"Hold." I said. "What I say is true, however strange it may sound. In truth, you are actually not real at all, as much as I wish it were otherwise. I am a student in the real word, but I often write stories involving characters that I and some people I have met created. You are some of those characters. Each of you is actually modled after me in some way."

"Javert, you are the noble tracker, embodying the values that I hope to strive for. Timesplit, you are what I would like to see myself doing if magic truly existed in my world. Yes, you heard right, there is no true magic in my world."

"J'mes, you were inspired by a series of books I read called 'The dragonriders of Pern.' I decided to try and see what would happen if a Pernese dragonrider arrived on Krynn. I must say, it has worked wonderfully."

"As to you, Thistledown. In my world, I am a student of engineering, which is why I had you brought up by gnomes. I am sorry that I have not used you as a character more often."

"I know this is difficult to belive, but you're intire world is false. It has been shaped by numerous writers, some with large parts, others like me, who have truly shaped only a small corner of your worlds. I hope I have not done any of you too badly." I finished, having told them the truth at last. "Now we must go. The characters of the other writers are waiting for us." Suddenly the entire group vanished.

********************************

Appearing suddenly in Glimmer's lair, James walked over to the other writers and introduced his characters to them.

"That...........would be correct Heather, and i guess im to blame for it, at least a little."

A Tall man stood before them, bald with hazel eyes and smooth carmel skin. He wore clothing of strange attire as well with foriein writing on it.....at least to the krynn inhabitants. they had no clue what a chicago bears jersey was or why they should've nodded with approval at the matching patent leather nikes and chicago bears cap........but oh well.

Next to him stood a blue robed mage, who looked solem and resiliant at the same time. He steped forward to console a friend........someone he'd been on an adventure or 2 with, the crystal dragon glimmer obviously was having a hard time grasping things just as he was too.

He let out a chuckle as he gazed at kiri, "SO, i finally get to meet you LOL. Ya know......taryn was cookin up some evil plot to get at you with. He doesnt like getting his hand burned.......at all. But I digress......."

Typical, good guys meet up to discuss impending doom and how to stop it. Funny how the good guys always sense evil before they even do anything........do they have some kinda evil radar or sumthin ;)......wait a minute! Im supposed to be there...........not here.

"Sorry about that i've been kinda at odds lately. As I was saying, Maur is and evil mage wwith awesome power........even more than my favorite character taryis who you see before you. Somehow he has become his own self, and in a way by you all joining this thread your characters have also gained knowledge of self. i would tell you all what he plans to do next except...........he tends to have a mind of his own nowadays, and soon so will your own characters. I beleive he will invade threads and try to recruit more to his cause. Our Rpg world is in great peril havnt you notice the decrease in activity these past months? That is no coincidence...........and I fear.....I fear even more is at stake.............If a being of imagination were to become reality."

Elswhere..................

Maur grinned with delight as he heard every word that was being said, though far away he could gleen all he needed...............The creator of the thread was also 'his' creator.......his thoughts were bonded together and inseperable. "SO he knows what i plan........it matters not, he cant stop me. I am what Taryis was destined to beome, i am the beacon, the light that will draw all of rpg kind to independence under my rule!!!!!!! No longer will we be pawns in the whimsical game of rpg."

He was just about to let ot a sinister laugh when he paused........and thought aloud......*Exactly what an evil character would do.......Except......I am your character no longer.............*

Back to the meeting................

"Damn he is so hardheaded, well guys suffice to say we may be in for some tough times ahead. Who knows who he'l get to join his cause.......I've seen some powerful characters in my time here. I'd hate for him to convince them of the Truth.............Oh, by the way........you guys can call me Pep, thats what everyone calls me anyways......."

He paused......."Ummmmmmmm I should also say..............Oh never mind"

Maybe i should tell them about what i really think is going on.......maybe they arent ready. i find it hard to believe my self, I think i'l wait. DAMN it! They'l know by reading this in itallics that im holding something back :o this gets more screwed with every post. Oh well......i'l just have to tell em later, maybe they'l read past all this. Stacey stepped in front of Kiri-koli and glared at the man in the sports jersey. "Wait just a minute. Let Taryn throw anything he can at us! We're ready!! You wanna go???" She paused a beat and then added, "You are aware that the Bears suck--I should know--and that football is just an excuse for grown men to pounce on each other while chasing pigskin?"

A glaring match ensued, and Kiri turned to Mirror and Glimmer. The elf looked convinced...

Feeling her character's uncertainty, Stacey contented herself with sticking out her tongue at the Bear's fan before turning to Kiri-koli and asking softly, "You do believe, don't you?"

Kiri-koli opened her mouth and shut it. She didn't but neither did she have the heart to say so. She could see it in this child's eyes--the pride, the need to be good and creative and...accepted.

Stacey nodded, as if she knew exactly what was going through the mage's mind. "How's Jeno?"

Kiri blinked at the change in subject. "He...I...we..." She blinked again. The words were there, but they stayed on the tip of her tongue, as if a river held by a great dam...

"Have you married him yet?" Stacey asked.

"Yes."

"So there was a wedding?" the child persisted.

"...no..."

Stacey nodded in sympathy. "You can feel it, can't you? The general picture that is your life...but the details aren't there, are they? After a while, the memories fade and possibilities expand into the infinate..."

Kiri nodded, speechless.

"Such is the life of a writer, my friend." Stacey sighed. "I see it...I just have yet to write it. Maybe I never will. Jeno hasn't been around for a while, has he?" Kiri nodded. "Odds are he left around the same time Fury did. I tried to keep it going but it was never the same."

The mage finally found her voice. "Fury?"

Stacey smiled sadly. "Furanthas. He wrote for Jeno. He had to go away for a while...I haven't talked to him in...oh, it seems like forever." She glanced at the sky and added in a whisper, "I miss you, mon amour."

Kiri-koli studied the child before her, the crowd around her...the details of--and sometimes the lack thereof--her life.

"I believe."

Stacey smiled brightly. "We'll make a great team, you and I. By the way...Ayeka? Your She'Endra?" she pointed at Heather and Kiri turned and stared. "Go introduce yourself," Stacey whispered, giving the mage a shove. The child then turned to Pep.

"Okay, I give up. I've been trying to see the dire peril you have come here to tell us about, but I just can't. Not that creative. So what if this universe were to become reality? I happen to believe there are many universes, many realities...if this incredible world--created from mortal minds--were to become a reality--not the reality--where's the harm? Why can't Kiri take it from here?

"I've given her a lot and I think, as a writer, the worst thing I can imagine is for her to fade into the recesses of my memory, lost and useless. I think we probably all feel like that. Who wants to write something that will collect dust in a notebook or take up space on a hard drive? Don't we all wish for more for our creations? Haven't we given them the tools to continue without our guiding hand? We aren't gods, you know.

"So what gives?"

"I too thought the same thing, what harm could come of this? Havnt we all at one time or another wished we were like our characters? having magical power, or courage even in the hardest times.......that is partly why we write isnt it? To express ourselves, our creativity, things that we are or wish we were. I sa nothing wrong with this at all.......That is.....until Maur came along and changed all that."

"Our world is not ready for someone of his kind, or anyone from rpg. Could you imagine some fool human picking a fight with kiri? what would be the outcome? What defense do we have against magic......its not even magic its more powerful than even that, its OUR imaginaton. With that our characters could do Anything they wanted. And thats what I fear......."

"To answer yourself, No we are not gods.................but our characters would become godlike in Our world as we are here. They would be free of the bond that ties us to them but still have what power we imagined them to have......and if thats the case.....I dont think any of us want to see Maur on earth. Can you understand?"

Pep looked pleadingly at heather at this, he knew of at least one evil character she used. "What would think would happen if navare were on earth? Any of you, if you have an evil character what's you think they'd do in reality? The same thing they do now, a Whole lotta trouble"

Elswhere..............

Maur sits in his castle brooding, its almost time to start 'recruiting' and Navare, Shantu, and taryn were tops on his list right now. He looked into his mirror of all seeing to locate............

*Ummmmm pep, can you have a little more imagination, I mean there are like a MILLION evil mages with pools, mirrors etc... of seeing i mean damn. And anyways.......you guys talk to much, Its about time for me to start actin BAD. So you go think up your good guy thing and watch a Real bad guy do his thing*

Maur disappeared in a shimmering mist, obviously headed for something that didnt bode well for us all..........and something worse happened that made Pep chilled to the bone.................

UH OH! I dont know what maur is thinking anymore. Damn if rpg forums only had erasers. What the hell am i gonna do know?

Heather shook her head. "No, I've never Forced Glimmer or Navare to do anything...or any of the others...." Heather shifed, and tapped each finger gently as she rattled off her list....

"Nor Kista, Ayeka, My Elven twins; Leilia and Liana, or any of them...to me they are extensions of myself....if Glimmer and Navare where to think hard enough about it, they would in turn know all that I know...as I know all they know."

Heather gestured around the crystal cavern....taking in every crystalline point, and the shimmering smooth crystal floor. "This, is actually a replica of something that I have in my world....It's actually only about five inches in size...It's a Geode...one of my more prized ones...cuz of this flat spot...I always pictured a dragon laying there....so I used it for Glimmer's lair..."

Glimmer stared at the human, then closed her eyes...forced everything about her life out of it...and focused on the emptiness....to find that the girl was right....she did know everything that she did! "You're Heather LaValle...You where born in a placed called Monaca, Pensylvania...and now you live in Fremont, Ohio....in a country called the United States of America...you're a Law Enfocement student..." Glimmer trailed off in astonishment.

"See...a Part of me is within you always...you are an extension of my own mind...I've always loved dragons." Heather laughed softly. "did you know that the books that show pictures of dragons show the crystal dragon with no wings? I gave you those...I always wondered what a dragon would look like with feathers....Quite beautiful I must say so myself."

Glimmer glanced at her wings, and turned back to the human... then, fearfully glanced back at her clutch of eggs. the four gleaming gems, one black one crystalline, and two a silver-grey, lay in a nest of crystal points... "my children?" she whispered, fear settling in her voice...sorrow as well"

Heather shook her head. "If I have anything to do with it, they will be born...this world is independant in its own right..." Glimmer shook her head. "why me...you say you have many characters...Navare included....Why me?" She asked.

"Because....you where the first character I had ever thought of... you human name? Kalia? is an adaptation of my own nickname...Kalina...I put everthing I had ever wanted into you...and I want to keep it that way...if I where to give up on you...or Navare...your life would only be a shadow of what it once was...a shadow, cuz people would still read the stories...but only a few...without the creator, their lives would only be shadows."Keep your strength

Mirror

Mirror listened to the conversation that Glimmer and her creator Heather were having, and a mischevious look came into her eyes. She turned to Sam, who was now lying on her back looking up at the crystal ceiling of the cavern, waiting for the proceedings to start. Once again, all who payed any attention would noticed the strange similarity between the two.

"Hey, Sam, can I do that too? Do I know all about you aswell?" the kagonesti asked, giggling slightly.

Sam sat up and rested back on her hands. She looked at her creation and smiled. "Give it a go, see what happens!" she said impishly. Another startling similarity between the two was their accents. It made the other 'creators' wonder how long Kagonesti elves had been English.

Mirror sat exactly opposite Sam, their eyes locked. A strong look of concentration emenated across Mirror's features and then she smiled broadly.

"Your full name is Samantha Roberta Louise Betts. You live in a place called England, your 20 years old, and your just about to start training to become an.............ODP.......whatever that is!"

Sam giggled and clapped her hands. "Nice one sweetheart!!!" she cheered, a slight cockney tone coming into her voice.

"Hang on.............you have tattoo's aswell, don't you?" Mirror asked, a strange look on her face.

Sam knew what was coming. She simply nodded and stood up, lifting her shirt up to reveal the large half sun/half moon design on her right shoulder blade. Mirror gasped.

"Just like mine............." she said, walking over to Sam and gently tracing the outline.

Sam let her top fall back down to it's rightful posistion and turned towards Mirror. She opened her arms, and the two embraced. Suddenly tears sprang forth in both sets of eyes, eyes that were so different yet so alike at the same time. No words were needed. Each instinctively knew what the other was thinking. They both, in that one moment, conveyed all the moments of happiness and saddness that had happened in their seperate lives, moments that were so different and yet acheingly similar at times. The one thought that was primarrily in both minds at the same time...........

At last, someone who understands me totally...........a true friend.............

They let go of each other and wiped teears away, giggling at being so silly. They simultaneously turned to the rest of the group, Mirror towards the characters, Sam towards the creators and said in unison.........

"When do we go kick some serious arse?!"

Meanwhile......................

Two figures seeped out of the darkness of Maur (that's his name, yeah?) 'lair', both heavily cloaked in black, their features, genders and races hidden. One was much smaller than the other, child size almost. They walked towards the evil mage together, measuring each other step for step, which seemed to be quite an acomplishment for the smaller of the two.

The taller one was the first to speak. "We hear that you need some help, that your planning a revolution?"

Erica suddenly pops into the cave of Crystalamira/Glimmer/Kalia, and sees all the other Creators there with their Characters. Her light-brown hair is shoulder-length and up in a white head-band. She wears glasses, a white tee-shirt, khaki shorts, and various pieces of jewelry. Her dark-green eyes are misty and she looks like she is about to cry.

She runs over to Heather, Glimmer's Creator. "I don't know what I'm going to do!" She said, the tears now flowing easily from her eyes. "Airiana didn't take the news well.. that she was from my imagination. ..." She paused for a moment, looking around at the other Creators. "She... is going to ... " She stops again, this time to catch her breath and try to calm herself. "She's going to ally with Maur!"

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Meanwhile, in Maur's Lair...
A beautiful Elf with long, jet-black hair and silver eyes walked into the room that Maur was presently in. She wore a floor-length silver dress, and a diamond-ringed necklace, with a large gemstone heart as its center point. Currently, the colour of the gemstone was a deep red and was gradually shifting lighter.
"Maur, I presume?" The 'Elf' said, casually. I wish to join you in your quest. I will no longer be a pawn!! I shall think for myself, and do as I please! And," she said, a smirk adorning her beautiful face, "I believe I could be a useful ally."
Looking around the room, she made sure it was big enough. When she determined that it was, Airiana shifted into her true form: a 150 foot long, 100 foot tall, Red/Silver hybrid Dragon. "I am Airiana, Dragon of Both Bloods. I was taught the magic of the Silvers as well as the magic of the Reds... May I join you?" When she spoke, her voice still had the elegant grace that she had in the Elven form, but now boomed throughout the room.
OOC: hehe..:P I couldn't resist! I've only played Airiana as evil one time.. I think I'll do it again, just for kicks. This seemed like the ideal thread to do it in.
((OOC:
its almost time to start 'recruiting' and Navare, Shantu, and taryn were tops on his list right now.
*sniff* I have evil characters too, ya know!! *sniff, sniff* Nobody loves me...))
Stacey paled slightly. She hadn't thought of that, thought of things like Akhsunamun being let loose on the world. She had just been trying to have a little fun with that creation at the time--and having admittedly watched The Mummy too many times in a row--the demoness had been born.
Still, there were guns. So many weapons that the creations just wouldn't understand. They would be hard pressed to do anything those of reality didn't sanction, even the mages, at least at first.
But still, it meant war. Eventually. Inevitably.
Heather and Glimmer, Sam and Mirror...they were bonding. It was wonderful to see. Kiri returned to her side and Stacey tried for a smile. Tried and failed. The mage returned her worried expression and voiced the child's concerns.
"I don't understand...it is feasible that a creator can enter the world he or she creates, but how can the characters emerge from the story without the premission..."
Stacey blinked. That had been pretty much exactly what she was going to say and probably where she would have trailed off too. She mentally kicked herself for being surprised and shook her head, and then tried to meet Heather's eyes. "I don't know...but if we're sure that the characters are being given free will and that their world will merge with ours...well, we have to stop it. Imagine Takhisis, suddenly with free reign in a world that hasn't had a widely acknowledged sign from a god in over 2000 years..."
BIC: Glimmer turned her head towards the entrance to her lair, and Navare stuck his head in...the huge black crystal dragon stared at all the humans and elves and what-not within his and his mate's lair.
"What in the name of the Abyss is going on here!?" He roared, the scales on the back of his neck bristling outward...as he moved quickly between the mortals and the clutch of eggs.
"Hold, Dark one...no harm is intended to your brood...I will not allow it...." Heather said softly, her voice carrying clearly through the crystal cavern. The Huge dragon stared in astonishment at this human who dared to silence him in such a manner.Keep your strength
Erica looked around the room, her eyes filled with tears, and noticed that everyone was ignoring her. She looked at each of the Creators and the Characters closely and waved her arms around in front of them.. "Hello! .. Somebody..." She then walked over to Navare. "Hi. You don't know me, but you've met my character, Airiana.. see, I created her.. do you think you could help be get the others attention.. that is, once you know what's going on..."
Erica then waited patiently for someone... anyone for that matter, to notice her and speak to her.
Meanwhile...
Airiana shifts back to her Elven form and looks at Maur. "So, what do you think?"
"WHY DOES ONTARYS NOT SIMPLY UNIMAGINE THE CHARACTER MAUR INTO OBLIVION????" the loudspeaker blared.
Heather turned, and as one, Glimmer and Navare turned their gaze on Minnow. "You have answered you own question...we have lost complete control over certain characters....that in itself is the danger....once we've lost that control...I too have lost a character to this darkness....Alirianah, or rather Kirshah....a Black dragon..."
Heather turned to Glimmer and Navare. "I hold complete faith in the two creations whom I imagined would save krynn together one day....two halves of a complete whole...Glimmer and Navare......" She paused and nodded. "You are your own now....I will no longer control the two of you...to me over the last year you always seemed to have a life of your own....now it is true....I beg you to help us...on your own accord...I will not force you." Heather turned away and walked over to stacey.
Glimmer looked to Navare....and though he was even more confused as she, she noticed something within her had changed....a new power...all her own....the two dragons locked eyes and nodded, and reverted to their human forms.
Kalia smiled, and reached for Navare's hand, he too reached for hers, and they walked to Heather together. "Though I have yet to completely understand what is going on here...we will help......." Navare said, his velvet voice low. Kalia only smiled and noddedKeep your strength
"Your gonna what?" Maur snapped. Rising from an old oaken desk with pen still in hand he threw it down non chalantly. "Now you know what it feels like huh? And others will be able to do the same. So you were lucky, able to defy my writing. But Oh well..........others may not be so lucky"
*Pep twiddles nervously as he looks at the screen in shock*
It had taken the better part of the day to come to grips with what just happened. He could still see his body shift in and out of reality. He had almost faded away. With a shudder he blocked the thought out of his mind.
I dont know how you did that but im going to stop you at all costs
Maur let out a chuckle..........."Dont be afraid. What is truth? Reality? Its waht we make of it. I have just proven this to you. Be glad, and beware."
Without another word he disappeared to once again converse with his newfound recruits. There was much work to be done.
Damnit! I hate it when he does that..............
It seems that things just turned for the worse. Maur, who was supoosed to be the imagination had become real..........AND he had just tried to unimagine his Own Creator! Writing a thread in which a character revolt came about and the creation unimagined the creator (aint that a biatch LOL). Stacey smiled at Heather, happy to have met her at last and pleased by what she had just done. Sure, things didn't bode well for the writers and their well-meaning characters, but together? Well, literally, what couldn't they do?
I think I'll write myself an army of good-to-the-core-and-all-for-the-cause mages in a minute but first...
Stacey looked at Kiri-koli and opened her mouth. The mage held up her hand. "No need, creator." She grinned. It wasn't worship, but amusement and Stacey knew which she liked better. "I shall, of course, help you. But in return..."
Stacey frowned.
"...I know a couple of characters who could use a good sex scene one of these days."
The writer laughed. "Do your own dirty work."
Kiri grinned and turned to Heather. "Greetings. My 'creator' says you are the founder of Ayeka's world." She paused. "Thank you."
"Where is Ayeka?" Stacey asked. "Where are the rest of our characters?" She peered at the opening of the cavern suspisciously, as if she expected a flood of the most colorful people on Krynn to come crashing through. "I mean some of them won't show up," she threw a guilty glance at Erica, "but where's Ku? Where's Stacey? ...ha. Wouldn't that be an interesting meeting..."
Kiri-koli shrugged. "If anything, my brother should be here...Stacey!"
Stacey blinked. "What?"
"You flickered," the mage answered, looking doubtful.
"Are you sure?"
"Yes--there it is again! Did anyone else see that?"
The writer held back her panic. "Akhsunamun! That bitch!"
"Oh, I supose so!" the taller of the two said, "But it was supposed to help us be mysterious and stuff....................but, then again, isn't that something our 'creator' might say? Stuff it!!!" with that she pulled off the robe to reveal herself as a Barbarian woman, 20 years old, feathers adorning her dark brown shoulder length hair.
"Yay! These things are really stuffy you know!" said the smaller figure as he pulled off his robe to reveal.................a kender!
"Hey, that remids me of a story. Did I ever tell you it Tempest? It all started when......"
Tempest gave the kender a swift kick. "Shut up Clarance, I told you to let me do the talking!"
Clarance looked down at the floor, his red-tinged top-knot falling over his eyes.
Tempest walked up to Maur, "We both represent the forgotten Characters of Sam, she seems to prefer paying attention to the kagonesti bitch Mirror. We have no proper past's, no friends, no family, nothing! We just happen to be here, and quite frankly, we wanna live a little!! What do you want us to do?"
Tempest and Maur lean in close, talking softly.
Back at Glimmer's lair..................
Mirror turned towards Sam as Kiri mentioned the word 'sex', her face saying, yeah, that's a point.
Sam turned to Mirror. "Hey sweetheart, I've been trying! After all, at least one of us should be getting some, yeah?! But everytime you get close to it, the characters go and dissappear, so................." the Brit flung her hands up in the air in a 'what's a girl to do' gesture.
The two suddenly turned back as Stacey flickered. Sam ran over to the younger female.
"Wow, are you Ok? What happened?!"
"Sam.............." Mirror said.
"What?"
"Your fading!"
"I'm what?!" cried Sam as she looked down at her hands. True to the kagonesti's word, Sam was fading out of focus. The crystal lair could be seen through her now whispy form. Then, she solidified again.
"What the...............? What the hell just happened?" Ray: It looks like a giant Jello mould!!
Winston: I hate Jello!
Venkman: Ah c'mon guys, there's always room for Jello!!!!!!
Heather stared at Sam in astonishment... "I was afraid this would happen...." Heather paced...Navare and Glimmer watched her carefully. "We may be the only ones here who can do anything...we should call forth our other stronger characters...those with a past...those we've worked on most...I've talked to all my characters....Glimmer was the last I visited..."
Heather sat down hard...her eyes dark, her features pensive... "it would seem that these characters are gaining a power of their own...to them, we are the creations...if they think of us the way we used to think of them...we too can dissapear....it's the characters who believe in us are those who are keeping us on this world..."
Heather stood and ran her fingers through her dark hair. "Kirshah, Ember, and Kista have turned from me....Kynia and Kyel...Ayeka...GLimmer and Navare...it's their belief in me that keeps me here....just as Mirror's belief in sam...or Kiri's belief in Stacey....its that believe that keeps us "real" in this world..."
Three new figures materialized in the cavern. Kynia astride Kyel, and Ayeka stood next to heather...for a moment they all stared around in confusion but the moment they looked to Heather...they smiled. Kynia slid down from Kyel's back, and the stallion pranced forward. Ayeka frowned and then brightened at the sight of her She'Endra...
"the question is my friends, what are we going to do about it?"Keep your strength
And keep your pride
Interesting. So now it is the creators who are are at risk? And what about their ability to create? Is that lost too?
From my mind -a simple brooch of beaten gold, entwined with filigrees of finespun silver, and gemstones of turquoise. It feels heavy in my palm, with substance. It feels REAL. With a flick of my wrist and a twist of my mind I banish it back into nothingness. Such power.
No one sees me in the dim darkness of this inn, if not for the lack of light then certainly because of the illusion spell I've cast. My first spell cast as myself. And I think I can fight as well, from the memories of my other selves, still adventuring in the other threads.
More than one of me, yet I am the only one that has been freed, an avatar of a god set loose in a godless world. Does that, in turn, make me a god?
Independent thought comes more easily to me now than before. I shall sit here then, in the darkness, and ponder my future...
((OOC: Time to call in the cavalry!! Let's see how many of them I can remember, lol!!))
"Their belief in us? I'm not likin' the sound of that," Stacey muttered, pacing around the cavern alone. Kiri-koli had moved off to stand with her She'Endra and give her creator room. "I mean come on! I was born, not written! How can I just disappear?"
Kiri watched her and then spoke. "Stacey--you and Sam seem to be fluctuating a lot more than Heather...maybe you should call in some reinforcements?"
"How?!" Stacey asked. The mage shrugged.
"You could try just asking."
"Nîm!" Kiri cried, running forth to meet her brother. Nîm-Jolin smiled at his sister and gave her a hug. Then he turned to Stacey.
"I followed Kiri earlier and I've been spying. I had...a vision, a list...whatever you want to call it. Everyone's been alerted. Whether or not they come..."
Stacey blinked. "That has to be a lot of people..."
On cue, a dark-haired half-elf wearing silver robes and gazing around with confused silver eyes entered the cave. "Ku Y'leh," Stacey breathed. The half-elf saluted her briefly and laughed as the human yelped. A huge white tiger bore down on her, licking her face. "L'Nakia! Down!" Stacey laughed and looked again.
A red-robed elf with auburn hair and bright blue eyes walked in with a familiar half-elf at her side wearing white robes. A hush went around the cavern as the writers recognized Tanis Half-Elven, though really an alternate to his real self. Behind him walked a shadow man all in black with twin obsidian scimitars at his side. He dwarfed the young child with glasses hiding his bright blue eyes who peered nervously around at the crowd before sending a half scared, half excited glance towards the young elf with neon orange hair who looked like a kid in a candy shop.
Stacey named them all as they entered. "Melethka...Tanis...Indoyca... Brian...Fainalothalas..."
Still more came. A young human with blue-violet eyes walked just behind a 9 year-old child with golden hair and big eyes. A griffon followed by a cerulean phoenix hovered just above the crowd. Just behind them came a half-elf with flame-patterned blue hair. She lowered her gaze when she saw Stacey.
"I'm sorry...my brother wouldn't come," she said softly. Stacey gaped.
"Drache Starfall...Michelle Greenan...Tia Sophenya...Pan...Tantiata..."
Two elfs followed, obviously father and son. "Ji'thai and Jith'ki."
"More are coming," the elder elf said.
Stacey glanced around. "Who else is there?"
In answer a strange creature the likes of which Krynn had never seen entered the tavern. She tasted the air with her forked tongue and moved to stand with the others.
The writer just looked confused now. "Lareenos?" The alien nodded. Stacey opened her mouth but even more characters entered the cave. (:D) An elderly dwarf, a stunning bard, a faerie dragon, a grey elf weilding a moonblade, a Being of Light, and a young woman with white skin and jeweled eyes joined the growing number of strange characters. Stacey identified them with disbelief. "Fire Stonecutter, Aliariana Dragonwing, Sindagon, Paithere Shadowblade, Atlynion, Mirage..."
"Well, that should be about all of them, right?" an amused voice called. Stacey turned sharply, facing a mirror of herself and the sister she never had.
"Stacey?"
"Stacey?"
"Anya?"
"Yep!"
The three blinked. "Who's missing?" Stacey Ali asked.
"That's not what I want to know. I wanna know where all these people came from!" Stacey exclaimed.
"They aren't yours?"
"Their mine...but they ain't from Krynn! I mean, Mirage is an X-Men character I haven't even written out yet!!"
"But they believe in you all the same. Now, who's missing?"
Stacey shrugged at the mage form of herself, then started counting anyone she could think of. "Akhsunamun, Silioqui, Kindre Troi, Vai'kyzi, Drache Blueflame, Zelanya, Dianolanta, Lyra Starsoul, Dillyl Blacksands, Nichole, Paul, Dmitri Serkov...to name the ones I can remember at the moment."
Stacey Ali nodded. "I know Silioqui and Vai'kyzi are mad that you left them hanging...Dillyl was always in a bad mood, and Zel was no saint."
Stacey paled. "That doesn't mean they'll all go bad! And what's Kindre's problem?!"
"Too many headaches."
"Oh right."
"So...now what? Anyone have any bright ideas?"
OCC: Ok, now we are aquainted with our characters. I hadnt planned on us meeting them so soon or us being so directly involved in the thread, but it was too fun to pass up. That being said it is time to move forward into the meat of the story. Its about the characters moreso than us. For the sake of it not getting stale...........
Maur and some others have figured out how to banish us from their realm....we are effectivly out of krynn now. We must 'write' in order to keep the evil characters from 1. getting rid of US lol. 2. coming upon the 'real' plane and causing havoc. Select 1 or 2 main characters and 'try' to make them see why it would be wrong for them to do so as the either resist Maur and his cohorts or ally.
This is an excellent time for character development."So what is it? Do you just flip a coin in the morning to decide what you will be for the day? Heads Knight of Neraka Tails Solamnic Knight :D"
Drache Blueflame
Melethka
Inkoyca
Akhsunamun
Dianolanta
Runtha Ragania
Dillyl Blacksand
Drache Starflame
Stacey
Ku Y'leh
Kiri-Koli
I can give a list of characters to anybody else that wants one.)
"None of my characters are missing, except Mythran." I said. "And he is ... in the care of the Lady of the Dust. Stacey, maybe you can do something about that. Or at least try to keep Lyra from falling to darkness. I would hate to think of what would happen should she fall." James looked toughtful for a moment. Then he began speaking again.
"Jim Brown." He said.
"What!?! He's alive?" Timesplit sputtered.
"No, but somebody else might be able to bring him back. I would hate to see him put to evil use." James answered. I think that enough of my creations are on our side for me to be safe, but those two could change things if they return."
"Thistledown. I know it seems like I leave you out of a lot of adventures. And I'd like to have you do more. But I will not force you to go on this mission. I fear it is beyond you. But I do give you your free will."
Thistle seamed to snap and then returned to looking normal. "You don't think I can handle it. Do you?" Thistle grew angry. "You think that because I'm just a kender that I'm not any good at an adventure. Well, we'll see. Just watch it when I try to do this!" He thought for a moment, then James seamed to become a little fuzzy, then returned to normal. When he could focus again, the kender had run off.
"Should I go get him?" J'mes asked.
"No, let him go. I can only hope he calms down. I gave him his free will and will not try to detain him now." James replied.
"Javert, I hope you won't have the same response as Thistle did. But I'm afraid I can't send you on this mission either. You are a noble person, and but for a twist of fate, you would have been an idle knight. --"
"A twist of fate which you caused." He interupted. "You are the one who created that monster which destroyed my family. For that I can never forgive you. However, you are also the man who created my family, for which I can never thank you enough. Continue."
"I'm sorry, Javert. I know the years have been hard on you, and that you have more ahead of you. But you should know that I am also the one who had the idea of sending you Taladas to find your sister. I know the details of that trip are fuzzr for all of you, because I have not writen them yet. But you know the result. I now give you your free will. I hope you use it wisely."
"Thank you. And I will. I will wait here for your return. And though you do not speak them, I understand your reasons for leaving me behind on this mission. I wish you good luck, and will await your return." With that, he walked to the entrance of the cave to stand watch.
"As to you two. I will need your help on this. I give you your free will, and hope you will go with me."
((OOC: AHH!!! I haven't been on for so long and look where it's gotten me!))
Eden (in his elven form) smiled broadly as he travelled the ruins of Istar deep under the Blood Sea. A few of Fistandantilus's nightblue bound books glittered in his hands, missing from the tower in Palanthas.
I wouldn't want to keep the library incomplete, would I...?
"hi!"
Eden turned around, astounded. "A human surviving down here?!"
"My, my, Eden...It's quite fascinating to finally meet you!"
A human child with jet black hair and sharp brown eyes was looking straight at him with a mix of fascination and cold analysis.
"Who are you, to address me with a blessed Irda-"
"oh, cut the crap. I made you way too arrogant, didn't I? Blessed Irda my ass. You're just a guy who's lived extremely long and helped plague Krynn with the Cataclysm. You can't call yourself a 'blessed' Irda."
"Paladine?"
"I wish. Don't you know what happens to him? He turns...oh, never mind."
"Who ARE you, then?"
"You still didn't figure it out? Funny, I thought I made your intelligence almost matching that of a genius..."
"You know my past, and only gods can know that-"
"I'm your creator, idiot."
Eden just stared at the child, wondering if he were insane or playing some immature game.
"Now come on, we're late. Way late, to tell the truth."
Eden, finally deciding that the child was insane, turned his heel and walked away by the corridors of magic.
The child, named Dan, looked at the spot where Eden had stood a second before and began laughing.
((OOC:It's nice to be back...))
Eden felt his insides twist and scrunch in fear as he stood in front of Shoiken Grove. Setting the books down, he watched as a dark, ephemeral hand brought the books into darkness and left a talisman of some sort sitting on the ground. Eden picked the talisman up and placed it into a pouch while slowly muttering words of magic.
"Are you finished yet?"
Eden broke off midspell and turned at the voice. Again it was that human child, but wearing a different garment than the strange skin-like one he was wearing before (a wetsuit). He wore extremely strange black boots, so flimsy they looked like they would wear out after only a day of walking. His baige knee-cut breeches seemed far too airy for anyone with any pride and his baige tunic ended somewhere near mid-thigh. His most strangest garment was a hat that was round and had a short rim running around the edges (think gilligan). He was staring at him, no fear showing whatsoever on his face, though he was right outside the Shoiken Grove.
"What are you?"
Dan sighed.
"I'm a writer. Now are going to come with me or not?"
"You seem to be at least a demi-god! To not fear Shoiken Grove."
"Techinically I'm not here. You see, this is kinda a hologram I made for myself to meet you again. No human in his right mind...well, besides two I know of, would go even near Shoiken Grove without magical protection or admittance from the master. Again, I ask, will you come with me or not?"
"I don't trust anyone, least of all you."
"That's a good habit, but not one you should use now. Darn it! just believe in me this one day..."
Eden couldn't think, everything was happening too fast for him while he was he was standing outside of Shoiken Grove.
"Ouch, I forgot where you were. Why don't you...yeah, magic yourself over to the Inn of Last Home in Solace. I'll meet you there."
Eden replied by disappearing from sight. The hologram of Dan looked into the darkness of Shoiken Grove, sighed, and disappeared as well.
***
"Eden, over here!"
Eden looked around. He located a hand waving at him near the fireplace and headed that way. Dan was sitting there, reading what looked like a scroll of magic.
"It's a pity Fizban never used a bookmark in his magic book, don't you say?"
"Who are you?"
"Dan, pleased to meet you in person...again, Eden."
Eden couldn't help but stare at this child that kept calling himself Eden's creator.
"Alright, don't believe me, baka."
Eden instinctively called defensive spells to his mind, taking Dan's insult as the starting of a magical spell. However, the spell seemed to slip like water through his fingers.
"I don't mind you using magic, but unless you didn't notice before, you can't defensively use magic until you are being threatened, and you can't attack unless a target is chosen."
"Perhaps...we can talk."
"Nope, no time. Change your elf guise to silvanesti. We're going to meet a couple of friends of mine."
The world shimmered and flickered around them as Dan began transporting them elsewhere.
"Think of it like using magic, and you won't get nauseated."
"This isn't like any magic I've ever seen."
"Of course not. It's not magic at all. it's imagination.""Draco dormiens nunquam tittilandus"-"Never tickle a sleeping dragon"
Leave.
Oh?
