Ryani wondered the skies aimlessly, his feathery wings keeping him aloft in the air. He let a flame dance along his fingers, snuffing it out in a puff of smoke. He was an angel of the Flame, a warrior of Paladine who had fallen from grace for disobedience. He did however keep in communion with his Father using a platinum medallion around his neck, and in order to help redeem himself, Ryani once again took up the position as a warrior of good, fighting the forces of Takhisis on the mortal plane.

The draconian thrust its blade towards Ryani, who dodged the poisoned tip and cracked the draconians head with the butt of his spear, then stabbed him with the blade. Flying out of the way as it exploded into a pool of acid. He wasn't alone though, a group of seven other draconians rounded the corner and spotted the odd winged man who had killed a fellow Bozak. They all hissed and charged the angel. He stabbed one of them and quickly moved out of the way. Flying up into the air, he let a ball of oily fire consumed two of them. Their shrieks of rage and pain resonated in the valley. Landing, he was not prepared for the draconian that leapt behind him and lashed out with a club, that inevitably struck his wing, breaking a bone in it. He cried in pain, turned to face the beast but was met by a closing fist.

He was knocked off balance by the unexpected blow and fell to one knee. The draconian then pounded Ryani with the club. He blacked out...

....waking up, his head throbbed in pain as did his wing. He was still too weak but attempted to stand, and found he already was, but chained to the wall by his wrists and ankles. He struggled somewhat testing the stength of his shackles. "I wouldn't try escaping, those chains are spell crafted and unbreakable." A voice from the shadowed corner spoke soflty.

OOC: I will add more to the plot later. A cleric would come in handy, to heal this broken wing of mine. I thought that if there is a group of us, we could break out of the cell. 'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,

OOC :) do you mind another angel in this??? I want to use Celestin...She's half angel of light and half dark...She has one white wing, and one black...and her specialtiy is healing...

BIC: Celestin frowned. She heard the other angel struggle... Celestin longed to stretch out her own wings, but she held them close against her back, her long heavy cloak keeping them hidden. She walked over to Ryani. "Angel of light....allow me to heal thy wing..." she murmered. Ryani could see that her eyes where mismatched...one was a bright china blue...the other a shimmering gold. Her long dark hair, had gold and silver threads running rampant through it.

She looked at him, her eyes willing him to see her for what she was....an Angel...like him....well no not like him...there wasn't another angel like her in all of Krynn. Her mother...an angel of Compassion of Mishakal....Her father...an angel of Death for Takisis.....angel and Demon twisted to gether to form her soul...a dark heart that strives for the light.

She reached out...her hand touching his broken wing. the moment she did, her own wing ached terribly. She shuddered and with her free hand, pulled her cloak tighter, trying to resist the urge to ruffle the feathers. She let go of the cloak and rested both her hands on the wing. A warm golden light spread from her fingers to the wing. the golden light filled his wing, soothing and healing it.

She let go of the wing. "Dang...I can't do more with you chained like that...." she murmered, her voice soft and musical. She murmered something soft...and a shimmering silver mist seemed to surround her. tendrils of this mist reached out...touching each of the manicals...only to recoil....Celestin frowned and closed her eyes....

The Silver mist strengthened, becoming solid...the tendrils reached out again, and this time succeeded...the manacles fell open at the touch.

Celestin caught Ryani as he fell. She rested him on his stomach, so that she could finish with his wing. "what is Thy name?" she asked sofly as she worked. "I am Celestine...." Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light

OOC: It's no problem Kalia, another angel would be welcomed.

" I am Ryani... thank you Celestine and may Paladine bless you with his light." He flexed his wing after she had finished healing it, and did so a couple more times. He then sat down and folded his wings at his side, lifting his head, he studied Celestine, he flet something familiar about her, but could not place the sensation.

He took his eyes off her and scanned the cell surroundings. There was one small window to let air in, though it was heavy and the stench of evil was pungent on the breeze flowing in. There was a door, easily broken...when he had recovered more strength. Again he looked at Celestine, feeling that same sensation "Tell me....where are we, is it Sanction or... would it be Neraka we reside in." The very mention of that unhily place sent shivers up his spine, he hoped that they were not in Her Dark Majesties most unholy city.

OOC: Woops...dropp the "e" on the end of Celstine!! I just want it as Celestin. My fault!

BIC: Celestin frowned, her mismatched eyes dark. "Neraka...the home of the Dark Queen...." she murmered. She bowed her head, glancing furtively at the other prisoners. She too shuddered at the chill that ran down her spine, making her shoulders twitch, her wings ached to be stretched...but she dared not to....if the other prisoners saw her wings...not to mention this other Angel...

Her mixed background always brought out the worst in people...

"Don't worry Ryani...We'll get out of here....somehow..."Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light

"I feared as much...i wonder if they have alerted her of my presence, she would delighted to know of my capture. However they are not going to get the chance to interigate me." Standing up quickly, the room began to spin slightly. He placed a hand against the wall to steady himself. Once the dizziness had stopped, he walked over to the door, keeping close to the wall, he peered out of the small, barred, opening in the door....two gaurds and another four at the bottom of the corridor. Perhaps another way

Ryani turned to look at the small window, I wonder.....but not just yet, i haven't recoverd my full strength and it would draw unwanted attention. Walking back over to his previous positon, he once again sat down, and took the medallion in his hand and said a swift prayer to Paladine. His hallowed light spread through him, though it was inhibited by being in this most foul and evil of places. He took refuge in the light, which calmed the turmoil in his mind.

OOC: I am kinda stalling just now, incase anyone else wishes to join us in the cell...otherwise Kalia, i think we will have to escape ourselfs and find people on our journey. 'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,

OOC:I think i'll just make the escape.

BIC: Ryani could feel himself growing stronger, Celestin's healing touch had helped him greatly. He stood up and walked over to the small window in the wall. Peering out he could see that they were a good distance off the ground Perfect! "Celestin...i'm getting out of here" He looked in her direction, then back at the window. "So what if this draws attention...i cannot remain here in this stagnant place, it is suffocating." Raising a hand towards the window, "You had better find some cover Celestin.." On that he let a ball of flame gather in his palm and the let it loose towards the wall. 'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,

OOC: I just have one question Kalia, how old is your character, it is something that i haven't thought of my own. Being an angel i suppose we would be considerably older, or do you live a mortal life?'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,

OOC: Celestin's story is an interesting one...Angelie and Seraphim are her parents (hehe Shattered Heaven) parts of their spirits combined to create hers...She was "born" so to speak out of this mix. Technically she's only a few years old in physical Manifestation...but the spirit itself is ancient...life length longer than a Dragon.

BIC: Celestin Ducked, and pulled her cloak close. She winced as the wall to their prison exploded. She stood, coughing from the dust, and dusted off her cloak. She climbed up quickly after Ryani. Celestin's missmatched eyes scanned the city of Neraka...and she shivered. She turned looking at Ryani.
"I guess we have to fly...huh?" she asked, her eyes dark and worried.Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light

Ryani could here the gaurds fumbling at the door, he sent another explosive ball of fire at the door, forcing it open and killing the gaurds in the process. "Or if you have a means to travel by yourself, i will not be offended"'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,

Celestin Frowned as she stared down at the ground below them. She turned to Ryani, but was separated from him as the other prisoners tried to make a run for it. In the mass confusion...Celestin stumbled, and tried to steady herself against a frantic prisoner.

The Prisoner shoved her, and she lost her balance...and fell....and fell. Her scream was as sudden as it was short. The Cloak flew loose and fell away. Almost against her will, Celestin's wings opened, and caught the winds. She soared easliy, her heart hammering in her chest.

Ryani could see her as she flew...and saw her wings...the right one pure white as snow....the other black as night. Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light

Ryani was at the hole in the wall the moment he heard Celestin's scream, however he got there only to see her spread a pair of wings, one of purest white, the other of darkest black....his eyes widend in shock....she was an angel. That was what the familiarity was...she was an angel, though he could tell not of the usual variety.

Odd how she had one white wing and one black, Ryani had never heard of anything like that except...his face grew ashen and he thought of it no more.

Leaping out into the mid-night air, he flew out to meet Celestin. He stopped, allowing the gentle winds to hold him in mid-air. He looked at her with stern eyes for he could see her clearly now. Tears began to wet his eyes "Why did you not tell me at first...one angel to another....honesty Celestin....honesty..." He looked at her on longer "You must have had your reasons...i apologise for .... come on, lets see if we can rescue anyone i the cell...there may be some willing to come with us." Swooping round, he headed back for the cell.'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,

Celestin's eyes closed as her heart ached to see Ryani's tears. She didn't speak...Her past haunting her...For the past few years...since her first manifestation in a physical form...she had hoped that her mother's purity would overcome her Father's dark heart....

"I once clung to a dream of pure white wings....but the reality...my father's dark heart...was too strong even for my mother's pure love." She murmered as she too followed him, her wings cutting through the air easily.

She flew back through the entrance, and landed beside him. "I did not lie to you Ryani...I did not tell you, true...but I did not lie." She said as she searched out the other prisoners.. Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light

Ryani said nothing She's right...maybe i should...no. Walking over to one of the prisoners chained to the wall, he gripped their manacles and softened the metal near the wall. He gave it a fiece pull and the chains snapped, releasing the prisoner. "You had better get out of here...fast"

Ryani heard a group of Draconians coming towards the cell "I'll hold them off for now...you try and free the other prisoners." Running to the door he a jet of fire into the forthcoming, hissing party, consumig three of them and leaving their ashes on the floor. He continued to do so, so that the draconians could not get near the cell, togive Celestin time to work.

They shouted something in their own intelligable language What are they up to Ryani got his answer...minutes later, a draconian mage rounded the corner, firing a bolt of lightning at him. Gripping the medallion around his neck he whispered "Protect" and then raised his hand, palm towards the oncoming bolt of sizzling energy.....it hit a solid wall of force, its impact creating riples on it. Ryani however felt the blast partially and was forced back a step.

Dropping the wall he fired a ball of flame at the mage but he deflected it. This continued for some time, though not enough as far as Ryani was concerned. He had raised the wall again but the mage had used a rather powerful bolt of red energy and as it hit the wall, it brought Ryani to his knees and the wall fizzled into nothing but air.

Seeing that the wall of magic was down the mage was preparing the release another devasting blast. Ryani's eyes grew red, and as he stood, a strange aura of red with golden sparkling dust surrounded him. The golden moats began to gather between his palms, as they grew, a living inferno appeared. Throwing it towards the group, it incinerated everything living in its path. "That should stall them for now....Celestin we have to get going." He jogge over to the hole and prepared to leap out into the air.'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,

"Angel lady, over here," hissed an elf through the hubbub. "I can't get out of my chains." He pointed down to the manacle on his leg. "If you free me I can probably find my own way out.""Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?"

Celestin heard the elf and spun towards him. She made to reach out to touch the manacle...but an odd hissing warned her off the Draconian at her back. Her wings spread and snapped back in a sharp motion. The Creature fell in a heap, unconcious from the swift blow.

she murmered something softly and touched the manacle...and it faded from sight. "There...." she said, and made to leave the elf to his own devices...when she heard several draconian voices hiss...and saw one point in their direction.

"well looks like you're coming with me!" she cried, and grabbed the elf by the arm...ignoring all protests, and lept from the window, following Ryani. She held on to the elf tightly, her wings spread wide, gliding easily.Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light

OOC: If I may? Could you squeeze one more into this?
Kalia I've worked out something based on a (ground character);)Wolf.

ICC:

The night had been boring ten minutes ago, alone in his living room, wondering what to do.
The crack of an explosion ceased his wondering, brought his eyes to the window.
A sight he only read about was leaping from the prison cells.
Wings of pure white flashing into the darkness as two blades of lightning.
A single pearl wing was obscurred by a jet black one, a black that caught Wolfs eye.
As some would call it black, he would call it abyss.

The never ending emptyness of the void.
That place were a soul can run forever and never tire, yet never reach its distination.
The same place he had run forever, chased by dark creatures bread of fear and horror.
At the same time growing in strength, for with each battle he grows in strength.

The purest blood of a rare species coursed through him, a race bread only in love or lust.
A race that tests and learns the boundaries of gods themselves.
For in every planet their is difference in race.
The joining of these is a hard won or careless choice.

Wolf Kiyee was his birth name, Kiyee from his mother, his fathers name was never known.
A boy with the blood of human and black-dragon.
His mother had been taken by his deception. Coming to her in the form of a man.
Taking advantage of her trust and love.
He left her as she began to show signs of Wolfs coming.

Wolf grew with many men as replacements, none staying long.
He had left home young, only twelve wandering through out the land.
Finding the occasional job, but always leaving soon after.
He had only been living in Neraka for a year now.
And he laughed as he realized nothing like that had happened before.

Following the two with his swirling dark grey eyes, he grabbed his sword and left.
Travelling down back alleys he could hear the flames and see the light.
His heart sped as he closed in, he could smell the burnt flesh, he knew it as draconian.
Stopping around a corner from the battle he brought the spell to mind.

Bringing his hands infront of his chest he connected his middle and index at a point.
Then brought his thumbs together, forming a inverted V.
He focused into his hands willing the fabric of air and light to do his bidding.
As if his eyes left his body he moved freely, seeing more than his own eyes could.
Looking around the corner in time to see a wave of hell fire engulf a number of draconian Baaz.

OOC: Is it Baaz?
Wow I'm going all out.

ICC:
His sometimes dark thoughts made him smile at this show of might.
He noticed the mage getting to his knees, some surving the onslaught of flame.
Wolf saw him gesture a basic lightning spell, intent on destroying these prisoners.
A thought Wolf saw as noble.
" Surely he must know he will die."He thought to himself while floating closer to the mage.

He could see its leather face and its beedy eyes locked in a spells trance.
A stern expression creased Wolf face as his magical sight whatched this Baaz finish.
A bolf of energy formed in slow motion for his eyes. The lightning threads flashing together.
Eventually gathering into a spiking ball off energy.

At that moment a ring sparkled blue in the darkness.
Barely even a thought he had called upon its enchantment.
The claiming as he called it appeared from nothing infront of the ball.
A shade seemingly floating in mid air, dampening the light from his veiw.

Releasing the sight spell he waited for the awkard silence of confusion.
There was a flash of light on the walls around him.
He could hear the ripping as the lightning spliced the air.

But as those battling whatched the lightning seemed to strike water.
Water coloured a shallow black embraced the bolt in its flight.
Swallowing it as it passed through, only steam remained, like a lost cloud it ascended.

OOC: Well that'll do pig that'll do.
lolTis better to have loved and lost.
Then to have never loved at all.

(( wait wait...lemme get out of the cell with you guys. Sorry to back track. Sorry also about the delay I was unable to get on-line ;) I don't know if any of you have seen a kryie before if you did I can change the last part.))

Elician tried to cover her eyes from the fire blasts that the angel was using against the guards but her arms were chained above her. She turned her face in a vain attempt to shield her eyes and tried to sit up from the floor. she used her powerful legs, which ended strangly enough in eagles feet, to push herself up. She had two wings, the color of copper, but both were broken and she winced at the pain. When the fire subsided she smelt the burnt flesh of draconians. The guards...the angel...he's killed them. She turned her gold eyes towards the angel. He and another women were free of their manacles, and there was now a gigantic hole in the wall. She could finally be free. But suddenly the women fell out of the hole. She had tripped on another prisoner. Elician's heart sank as the angel flew after her. 'Their.....leaving' she thought her head once again falling forward.

What seemed like an eternity passed before both suddenly reappeared within the hole. But the women was no longer just a woman she too was a angel. Her wings were both white and black, she was a mass of contradictions but she was beautiful never the less.

Elician head snapped up "Wait!" she managed to whisper, her voice growing stonger with each word, "Wait, take me with you!" They could not see her, they were leaving. She tried to stand but her legs wobbled beneath her.

Panic began to grasp her heart like a vice.

"Please will you help me?" she practically begged, forgetting her pride in her urgency, her voice rising too late. The angels had flown out.
"Oh I bit you, I'm terribly sorry. Your hand must have gotten in the way of my teeth."

OOC: I don't wanna back it up...but I'll do it this way.

As Celestin flew...She faltered as a voice reached her ears Please Will you help me She steadied her wings and pushed to catch up with Ryani. "Take him....I'm Going back!" she cried, and handed Ryani the Elf. Without waiting for him to say anything, Celestin banked sharply and flew back to the tower prison.

She got there, with all her magics ablaze. Three more Draconians fell. She gave them a scornful look and turned to find the owner of that voice. She spotted the Kyrie. She ducked as another Draconian struck at her. She fought him off easily...but more where coming. "I cannot heal you here....there's no time....!" she cried to the Kyrie. She turned and looked around for other survivors. " I can carry only two..." she said. and broke the manacles that held the Kyrie. "I can carry you....then heal you on the way..." She said, holding out her hand.Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light

OOC: Sorry about the spelling in that last post, i couldn't really see the screen...anyway.

BIC: Ryani sighed as Celestin flew back to help someone, and because of having an elf shoved into his arms. He watched her sore through the sky, her white wing shining brightly...the other, blacker still than the surrounding night. He waited patiently for her return, and used this time to prepare their next move...should they fly to palanthas and the Temple or to the clerist tower to help in the battles. Or stay in Neraka and see what they can do here..at the heart of Takhisis' armies. Surely they wouldn't expect them to stay and would not search for them here.

Again he sighed No..the Dark Queen would undoutably feel both our presence and act quickly to retake us. 'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,
from fire to ice, and soul's own fruits.
From light to dark, from wind to water,
I claim this spirit and creator's daughter...'

He looked towards the broken shell, now devoid of most prisoners but with no shortage of gaurds. What is taking her?'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,

(( No problem ;) ))

Elician watched as the woman angel reappeared through the door. She sighed with relief, she had for a second given up hope of her escape.

"I will carry you, there's no time to heal your wounds." the angel's shouted

The angel used her powerful magic, magic that Elician was not familiar with. Then again this angel was quite different herself. The manacles clipped off and Elicain slumped to the floor.

"You have to carry me?" Elician whispered her throat dry. She looked towards the angel woman. "I'm nearly as big as you. Are you sure you can? If we can just get outside I will be able to heal myself." Elician sighed "I just need a moment to rest."

"No time to think of these details now," The angel woman spoke as she helped Elician up. They walked over to the opening in the wall, Elician's sharp talons on her feet clicking on the floor. The smell of draconian flesh taking up all the space the had for air, threatening to suffocate them. "Hang on too my back. I will be able to carry you." Elician climbed akwardly on the angel's back one hand holding a wing of pure white, the other holding a wing of deepest black.

"By the way angel of both light and dark," Elician shouted as the plunged out into the open sky "my name is Elician." "Oh I bit you, I'm terribly sorry. Your hand must have gotten in the way of my teeth."

Celestin Smiled as The Kyrie intoduced herself...there was something about her that Celestin liked...Something akin to herself....

"Well Elician...I am Celestin. I can heal you now, I didn't want to stay in there a moment longer. Celestin's hands clasped together as she murmered something soft under her breath. A soft golden light filled the spaces between her clasped hands. The golden light spread through Celestin's arms, and back through her wings...The moment the light touched Elician, the light jumped from Celestin's wings to Elician.

The light was warm and tingled gently. The warmth intensified as it touched a wound...from the smallest bruise...to the Broken wings....

"there...try to fly now." Celestin shouted above the wind.Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light
Guide me in the Darkest Night
Keep me safe from Evil spirit,
send your blessed light to sear it.

"Celestin" Elician said to herself as if committing it to memory. She leaned closer so Celestin could hear her over the wind "I am in your debt tenfold I believe."

"I can heal you now, I didn't want to stay in there a moment longer." A warm glow grew as Celestin's hands came together. She reached for Elician. A inner peace filled Elician, one she hadn't felt in a long time. It seemed to touch her soul, she could feel the strength return to her wings.

Celestin's voice rose to be heard above the wind, "There...try to fly now."
Elician needed no prompting to try out her wings once again. She fairly jumped off Celestin, but made sure her talons did not cut her.

Celestin watched with a grin on her face as Elician then proceeded to do a bunch of flips and dives around her.

Elician's wings still ached but she didn't care, it had been so long since she had used them. The coppers of her wings shown brightly and the yellows of her hair seemed to be a part of the sun's rays themselves.

Her face flushed, Elician flew up to Celestin's side. She took her hand in her's. Her face was very proud, very serious. "I can not thank you enough Celestin. Now were there any others with you?

Celestin nodded, "Yes two others, another angel and an elf.

A grin crossed Elician's face "Shall we fly to them then." She laughed as she pulled forward, the thrill of her freedom overpowering her usually serious demeanor."Oh I bit you, I'm terribly sorry. Your hand must have gotten in the way of my teeth."

OOC:

Or stay in Neraka and see what they can do here..at the heart of Takhisis' armies. Surely they wouldn't expect them to stay and would not search for them here.

Well hello... someone speaks my language =) Amazing coincidence, that's exactly what I was thinking!

By the way, if this is disrupting anything, please inform me and I'll delete this.

IC:

Three forms glided silently over the city of Neraka, moonlight glittering on wings of snow and copper, failing against one of blackness. One form was an ungainly merge of elf and angel, the other two forms graceful, if slightly odd in shape and color.

Dekir Di'Nar glanced up and smiled. Must be my lucky night. He forced himself to re-focus, uttering a silent mental command, finishing a spell...

A half-second later, he felt the shockwave as one of the city's barracks burst suddenly into flames. Dekir pulled himself just over the peak of the roof upon which he was crouched and watched the inferno go up a few blocks away. The pyre was reflected in the eyes of the other men gathered around him, sparkled until it burned and they all had to look away.

He could almost hear the draconian screams.

"Well, Tuln, it's been great working with you." The brown-haired sorceror clasped his compatriot warmly by the hand, staring into the resistance leader's one good eye.

"You've been a great help to us, Dekir. I only wish that the Guild hadn't recalled you so soon. If you'd been able to stay a little while longer..." The older man turned his glance back to the blaze.

"I'll try to get back soon. For now, my friend, good luck to you. Paladine's blessing, on all of you."

Slipping a small, silver ring onto his finger, Dekir shrugged a leather backpack onto his shoulders, grabbed his well-worn staff, and, casting a last glance around at his compatriots, sprung straight off of the rooftop like a loosed arrow.

In the near distance, he spotted the flash of wings and accelerated slightly. He had always loved flying. Looks like a great place to start my homecoming.Sylvan- "A warrior without a heart is not a true warrior."

OOC: Its not disrupting anthing..at least i don't think it will.

BIC: Ryani glided through the night sky with a naturla grace, he swooped and banked as though at home in the sky...he supposed he kind of was. The elf appeared thankful and was content, seemingly, to allow Ryani to carry him. He didn't mind, the elf's extra weight was barely noticable.

"Tell me sir elf...what is your name? I suppose more importantly where do you wish to go...is there anywhere were you need to be..or do you intend to stay with this small party for the now? Celestin laughed at the Kyrie's enthusiasim. She too quickly followed her...Celestin's wings slicing the air easily.

They soon found Ryani and the elf. "Well Ryani...what now?" she asked, her wings sweeping gently to keep her aloft. "And what about him?" she asked pointing to the Elf.Oh, Moons of Mercy, Moons of Light

The wind whistled over Dekir's shoulders as he turned around and flew backwards to watch for persuit from the city. You could never know what to expect in Nekara's airspace, especially with all of the dragons around, but it was also a great excuse to watch the his handiwork glow redly in the distant darkness. Minions had, undoubteadly, already surrounded the fire and were trying to put it out, but it would be a long time before the foul inhabitants of the city felt safe again.

And that's just when Tuln will strike again... he may be old, but he's brilliant and no mistake. I wish I could have stayed with him, but there are other places I need to be just now.

Glancing over his shoulder, he saw that he had nearly caught up to the figures ahead of him. He couldn't tell just what they were at this distance... they might have been a trio of angels, but the shapes were all wrong. One seemed to have something protruding from its chest, another, which was zipping and diving, didn't seem to be quite the right shape. The third looked normal enough, but seemed to be pressing along steadily with only one wing; there was no sign of the other.

Hmm... flying in the dark, only the slightest idea of where I'm headed, and three unidentified beings of unknown motives up ahead. Sounds about right for the start of a trip.

Dekir pressed a little harder to catch up.Weep, o ye people of the world,

Elician gave a perfect bow in the air towards the other angel. She had not seen any angels before. But she felt paladine's hand upon this one, yet she also saw immense sorrow in his eyes. Just as she felt the inner turmoil of Celestin. It was not her place to pry into their secrets though and so she said nothing. If one wanted his story heard then that one would tell it, so she always believed......Still she was quite curious.

"My name is Elician, I thank you immensely for setting me free." her face darkened as she spoke on, "The draconians have kept me prisoner for many months now it seems." She paused for a moment her eyes vacant as if seeing another time, another place.

"They....I....I can not talk about what happened to me there," she gave a great shudder "but I can pledge that I shall aide you in anyway I can. I am far from my home land, but I would not mind wrecking a little destruction on our little friends some more!" She pointed down towards the flaming jail. All three noticed another fire had sprung up in a different part of town. All three looked puzzeled, none of them had done that.

She turned back towards the others. I know Celestin," she nodded towards her, Celestin giving a nod in return, "but I have yet to know your names."

"My name is Ryani" the angel said as he smiled, "and this is Kron." Kron gave a sarcastic nod of his head. He wasn't in a very dignified position, hanging from an angel above neraka. Elician supressed a smile.

"Well what shall it be?""Oh I bit you, I'm terribly sorry. Your hand must have gotten in the way of my teeth."

"That sounds perfect too me." Elician began "I would be glad to aid the knights in what ever way I can." Elician paused and turned her head to the side just as a bird would. It was a old habit she had when she was thinking. Her great wings beat slowly in the sun. "That is if they will accept my aid. I do not know how they will feel about my kind or even my magic." "That sounds great to me, but could we turn a little east? I have something I need to pick up."

With a flutter of wings, the companions turned quickly in the air, banking sharply to find the source of the sudden and unexpected voice. When they found it, however, they were astonished... there was a man gliding along unconcernedly in midair, apparently unaided by any means. The wind whipped at his leather traveling clothes, tugged at his backback, and ruffled his dark brown hair. He held a stout wooden staff covered with delecate silver traceries that cought the moonlight. He was grinning from ear to ear.

Ryani, beating his powerful wings, came to hover nearby, calling "Who are you, and what do you mean, "that sounds great"? Are you bound for Palanthas?"

The human clapped a gloved hand to his forehead in surprise "Oh, how uncivil of me, I didn't even introduce myself... call me Dekir. And yes, I am bound for my home city of Palanthas, and would welcome the company of such as youselves. I have some gear cached on the ground nearby, however, and need to retrieve it before I go any further. OOC: um..I thought it was night??

Celestin stared at the newcomer with mild curiosity, but also a great ammount of misstrust. She didn't like being surprized, and this man almost found out the hard way what it ment to sneak up on her. Her wings beat strong against the night wind.

"If we're to head to Palanthas we had better do it under the cover of night....The Dragons will be searching for us...if they aren't already."
She said, glancing over her shoulder, watching the cursed city closely. "As a matter of fact...you three go on...I'll make sure we aren't followed." she murmered, and folded her wings. Celestin dived, opening her wings at the right moment to land safely on her feet.

There...to her right... "damn" she muttered...the Draconians where searching for them...and there...far above...one single Black dragon...a very bored one at that.

Murmereing softly, Celestin touched the arch of her white wing. Color drifted through the white...inky black... She didn't like this...but if she where to converse with the dragon...she had to temporaily change her wing. Rising up on two black wings, she met the Dragon.

"Mighty Wyrm...I ask you...what are you doing this night?" she asked sharply. The Black Glared at her, glanced at her wings then spoke. "None of your buisness Dark feathered one...." It hissed.

Celestin narrowed her eyes. "the Majesty's business is my business!" she snapped, folding her arms. "You look like you couldn't find a ogre in the condition you're in...nearly sleeping on the wing...pathetic!" she sneered.

The Dragon snapped it's jaws. "Watch it feathered one! I wouldn't mind Foul for dinner!!" Celestin laughed, and summoned an odd looking staff. Made of pitch black steel. Top held an intricately carved Disk, with a single Blood red gem dangling from the tip. "tsk tsk...becareful what you say Wyrm...you don't seem to know who you're dealing with.

The Black narrowed his Red eyes on the Staff, then it's eyes widened. "forgive me Dark Angel..." it stammered. "I did not know!"

Celestin smiled... "thats better...now..go back to your den...I will handle the search." She said. The dragon merely nodded...and headed back to Neraka. "There...thats better...now for the Dracs. she Dived, and landed before a large Sivak. It regarded her for a moment, then it too locked it's eyes on the staff. "Dark Angel!?" It sputtered. "wh-what are you doing here?"

celestin Smirked. "I am here to tell you to break of the search for now...You'll never find them under the cover of the night. wait till it is light...then search for them...the Prisoners are wounded, they won't get far. The Sivak nodded once, then shouted out to the rest, who stopped and looked at Celestin once then followed the Sivaks command, and marched back to the city.

"I can handle myself Draconian...go.." she snapped. The Sivak narrowed his eyes only breifly before turning to go. Celestin smiled and flew up high above them....allowing them to see her for short periods, as she slowly climbed higher...allowing the night to shadow her.

Nearly in tears from the laughter...she flew back to the rest of the group. Her wings both still black...

Dekir concentrated, re-activating a spell that he had kept shielded and inert that caused a magical beacon to emit from his cache. He knew that it was likely that any Nerakan mages nearby would also be likely to sense the pulse if he left it on for too long. He pointed with his staff, it's scrollwork catching the moonlight.

Dekir had floated quietly down, carefully avoiding tree branches as he decended so as not to alert any nearby enemies. "I might be able to help with some of that...." The flying man's form drifted into the elf's restricted line of sight, and he patted his backpack. "I don't have much with me, but I did pack some extra in case of mishap. We'll sort it out when we land." The man looked from one winged form to another.
