The Southern wood, seeming peaceful, lush forest covering several miles of the southern land. In this seeming peacful wood, Elf folk live, those of of wild and those of wood. Living in the same wood are forest with them, are several orcish folk. The forest is home to those of men as well, such as hunters, rangers, and wizards. The forest is filled with ancient temples and shrines dedicated to the woodland spirits. There on the outskirts of the forest is the small village of a Telest. This is where those of men reside. The elves of wood live in the shrines, and those of wild live in the huts of the northern wood.

A large black war-steed darts through the woods,a crouched rider atop it.Long black robes flap in the wind behind it.As tree's limbs touch the strang creature atop the massive dark steed, the wrinkle and die quickly.A multitude of dark weapons seem to cling to this dark creature. The are two that are quite strange.Along the dark figures waist rests several throwing knives, with red dyed mithril blades.A long wooden hilt, engraved with a battle scene, peeks from its robes.Atop the hilt rests a dark onyx with a swirling gray mist within.
As the dark figure rides he passes by the huts of a group of wild elfs, moonlight glimmers off of his drawn dark bladed sword.A wild elf runs out to attempt to stop the dark creature, but his head slides off his shoulder before,a voice pours over his blood drenched lips. One wild elf trails the aim of his spear toward the dark creature, but it does not fly from his hand.Instead with a liquid movement,a knife is thrown from the dark creature. It flies through the throat of the war crying elf,and pins him to a tree. The elf kicks its legs as it bleeds to death.
The dark figure rides back by the now dead elves, and unsheathes the bloody throwing knife from its temporary flesh sheath. One wild elf watches from a tree, and aims his his spear downward. The creature looks up at the now terrified ,and a long split black tounge pours from its shadow covered face.As the creatuyre dismounts its steed, the wild elf jumps from the tree, and begins to run into the deep night woods. The figure draws another throwing knife and throws it at the fleeing elf.A bloody squeal pours through the woods,as elf blood pours upon the moonlight earth.

.......... Venton began to set up camp. He did so by first looking for some wood and brush to
make a hardy fire. After he had the proper kendel, he built the fire amidst the rocks he had
gotten form his saddelbag earlier. He then went and got some water and put it into the boiler,
which he sat on top of the two tallest rocks, as not to crush the fire. Then he removed his
small nife, that he used for everyday chores and work, nothing like his dagger wich rested
comfortably on the ground with his sword, next to his bags, that contained clothing, food,
water, maps, and what ever else he had. He cut up the vegtables and the meat in smaller
peices, then he tossed them into the water and allowed them to boil ((ack that is how you
spell boil, so i guess it would be boiler not bowler, sorry I am so stupid.)). He removed
the spices and sprinkled appropriate ammounts into the stew.
.......... Venton then decided he would make himself comfortable beside the fire, He unbukled
his chest plate and layed it down beside his other belongings. He then preceeded to remove
all of his other armor; shin gaurds, helmet, thighgaurds, gauntlets, gloves, and
everything that
was of bulk and heavy. He removed his bed roll from his bags and spred it out on the grass
nearby. He then grabed his bag and set it at the top of his matt on the ground as a pillow. Lying
down, Venton closed his eyes and enduldged in the calmness of the night, as his muscles stoped
aching and began to rest.
.......... He was an older man, nearly fourty two. He his hair was begining to gray in some
areas, and skin was wrinkled with many years of battle, and life as it is normally. He had a ruggad
but gental look about him, however he was a mighty warrior when need be. He was about 5"11 in
hieght, and a muscular man, He did not feel old at all and considered himself still in his prime.
He new he was young at hert, and still longed for the warm companion ship of a good woman,
that he had seemingly been deprived of his life yet forwth. He wasn't an unsociable person but
never realy stayed in one spot long enough to make friends, and so he turned over to gase at the fire
as his horse drank from the stream and ate grain from the bag itself.

The Wizard wondered aimlessly through the forest. He enjoyed the solitude. It gave him time to think. To think about what he was going to have for dinner or the latest spell he had created.

His golden robes fluttered around him as the wind blew past. Walking up a small hill, he stopped at the top and looked around him. He could see the forest for miles around him. Sitting down on a nearby stump with his staff in his right hand, he starred up at the cloudless sky. "How beautiful the stars are this night." Galafern whispered. Then thinking of what trouble may soon be upon them he sighed heayily.'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,
from fire to ice, and soul's own fruits.
From light to dark, from wind to water,
I claim this spirit and creator's daughter...'

OOC: I'm gonna keep on using my character.

Richard looked up at the night sky from his valiant steed. It was a starry night. His horse neighed and he thundered on into the night. Richard found a small alcove in the side of a hill and stopped his horse. He decided to set up camp. He put up a lean-to from sticks and some branches. Built a fire pit, gathered some wood. Then he used his magic to set it ablaze. Richard was a warrior/mage/woodsman. He had a massive bastard sword Deemed 'Bringer of Death' that could invoke powerful elements of magic. Richard had an odd sort of rare magic...... He could also invoke the dead.

Richard held up his hands and the ground started to rumble. What looked like white worms emerged from the ground. After a few seconds two skeletal hands emerged. Next arms and head. Then the torso and legs. A being from beyond had just returned from the grave. Richard looked into the empty black pits of the skulls eye sockets. After a few more minutes five whole skeletons stood before him.

"Watch over me while i rest." Richard said. He could invoke impossible numbers of skeletons in no time at all......"Splatter?I have never in my life splattered!" Fizban said to Tasslehoff.

Walking down the hill, Galafern was consumed in thought. He noticed not the traveller sleeping by a fire, nor the skeleton creature that he bumped into. Looking up, in annoyance, expecting to see some rock or tree, his eyes met two black soul-less pits. Startled, Galafern jumped bac a few steps. Looking past the skeleton, he then saw the man lying on the ground, he couldn't tell if he was breathing.

His eyes narrowed. "Enjoy your meal did you." The skeleton simply starred at him. "Well, i know not where you came from, however i will send you back to the Abyss myself." Raising his staff, a white light shone from the opal jem which sat atop it. The skeleton, feeling threatend charged the Wizard. Pointing a finger, Galafern threw the dead creature against the wall of rock. Suddenly, he heard the traveller stir softly. "He's alive!?"

Eying the skeleton as it rose from the ground, he looked back at the sleeping figure, a great power emmnated from him. Galafern began to wonder. However the skeleton thought nothing and once again ran a the Wizard. Pointing his staff, the skeleton stilled, as though bound by chains.

Nudging the resting traveller with his left foot, "Excuse me sir...em...is this thing yours."

OOC: I don't know if you were sleeping or not.'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,
from fire to ice, and soul's own fruits.
From light to dark, from wind to water,

Kronathalas watched all of this from the trees. He was familiar with the surrounding areas and was comfortable in the forest. After all he was an elf. The former herbalist turned theif eyed the two in front of him, knowing the skeleton carried nothing of value. If only the second hadn't come upon him when he was just about to strike. The elf shifted and continued to peer at the travelers."Are you trying to make me look stupid in front of the other guests?"

OOC: We'll just assume i was asleep.

Richard looked up at the figure." Yes that would be mine. I summoned him and the other four over there in the trees."he said pointing towards the shadowy trees."Although i have to warn you. We are not alone."Richard went on indicating a tree in the distance. "I've sensed the elf in there for awhile."

Richard casually walked a bit closer to the tree. He then threw his hand forward sending a blast of dense air into the tree. A small figure tubled out and landed lightly on its feet."Why hello there.......""Splatter?I have never in my life splattered!" Fizban said to Tasslehoff.

Galafern watched the elf fall out the trees. Something odd about him. " Oh well..em...sorry about that. I saw you lying on the ground and assumed that the skeleton had killed you. But you can obviously take care of yourself." Thinking about the ball of air he had hurled into the trees. "And you said that you had summoned that creature, are you a summoner or a wizard perhaps."

Galafern released the skeleton who stayed where he was under the travellers command, however kept its soul less pits on him. He sat down on a small boulder.'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,
from fire to ice, and soul's own fruits.

Kron studied Galefern intently. Magicusers. He hated magicusers. Oh, they weren't the worst thing in the world but they really made life tough. Of course, you could always slip a dagger inbetween their ribs when their concentration was elsewhere. "Is there anything to eat in your camp," asked the elf. "I live on the outskirts of these woods. I come here to enjoy the solitude, it allows me to be alone with my thoughts and stare at the stars." A shadowed look overcame his face and his voice dropped to a mere whisper. "Plus there is a danger in these woods. I have felt it growing for sometime now and i scout the forest nightly incase any sign of it can be seen."

Looking to the elf "Why so interested? Are you a stranger to the woods? If so i hope you come with good intentions for this wood has ways of weeding out those wishing to cause harm and if not the wood then i take up the task"'From earth to sky, from leaves to roots,
