Your character's bio could look similar to this.

Name: Carrinas the Orc

Race: Noble Orc

Explorer or Native: Explorer

Profession: Sell-sword

Age: 31

Description: Carrinas stands a head or two other most of the humans on board the [i]Siren[/i] and he has often been compared to 'one them old pagan statues you see in ruined temples' in terms of muscle and stature. He has a long head of black hair tied into a single ponytail round the back, green skin, rather rugged features, sharp canines and his ears end in a point round the back. Due to his race, he understands some trappings of civilisation and is thus well accepted into most societies, although a few of more snobbish cultures (such as the elves and certain humans) still regard him as a simple-minded savage from the great wastes of the North.

Weapons and Armour: Light chainmail, hardened leather armour, iron greaves and faucetts and a tweed kilt with a dargon insignia on the front. His weapon of choice is a large broadsword and a handaxe.

Personality: Carrinas's lineage means he is more trusting and approachable than most orcs, yet he is still prone to acts of barbarity and harbours a strong dislike to elves, dwarves and some of the more xenophobic human cultures. He has a warrior's sense of honour and justice, which means he won't attack unless somehow provoked and never turns his blade against innocents. Being a mercenary however does limit this ethic a great deal. If he can help it, Carrinas tries to avoid anything resembling 'females' stuff' such as writing, diplomatic talks, crafting tools (but weapons and armour are fine) and magic.

Motive in the New World: Fame and wealth.

At the moment we have only just set foot on the New World, so immediate objectives are finding a source of fresh water and food, as well as setting up the outpost. Any Natives amongst the players are to try and gleam some information from your new visitors and determin whether they are good or bad news.

Name: Suri Clintha
Race: Human
Explorer or Native: Explorer
Profession: Sell-sword/thief

Appearance: Petite and lithe, Suri is slight of build even for a human. But what she makes up in height, she makes up in speed and dexterity. She has short blonde hair, and her skin is darkly tanned. Her sea-green eyes are bright and quick to spot movement.

Weapons: Rapier(short sword) daggers and throwing knives.

Personality: Suri is determined to prove herself here, knowing that many of the crew dislike her even being aboard the ship. She will volunteer for any excursion just to prove her worth.

Name: Fakir Dragonrin
Race: Human
Explorer or native: Native
Profession: Scout/ Dragonrider

Appearance: Fakir stands about 6'2" with a medium build for his height. His long dark hair is usually caught in a single que with a leather strip. His Dark eyes and dusky skin tone make it easy for him to hide in the shadows when need be.

Weapons: Longbow/ minor earth magics

Personality: Fakir is the only son to his village's shamman. And while he shows promise in following his mother's profession, he doesn't desire it. His one true passion is Mythos, the blue dragon that he rides on patrols.

Race: Dragon
Height: (at Shoulder) 6'
Wingspan: 80'
Length: 40' (nose to tail)
Color: Indigo
Abilities: Can breathe fire after ingesting certain items that Fakir carries in a pouch. A glowing red stone aptly named "firestones" The ammount consumed determins the duration of the ability. Mythos can speak but the tones can be difficult to understand to any who has not been around such a creature.

I might be a bit ahead of time with this character, but I can always change it.

Name: Isaac William Montgomery

Race: Human

Explorer or Native: Explorer

Profession: Master Engineer

Age: 54

Description: Isaac's full head of silvery hair is usually kept under a leather cap. His left eye was torn out in a bizarre engineering experiment, and was later replaced with a mechanical one, allowing him to see long distances and in the dark, and taking up the lower half of his face is a large, silver moustache.

Weapons and Armour: Isaac believes armour is too primitive for him to wear, so he doesn't wear any.

Eleanor d'Artagnan is Isaac's favourite invention: a rifled musket with a scope, mounted on a pivoting stand. He carries it everywhere, even though it is rather cumbersome, as he has grown emotionally attached to "her."

Although he believes they are primitive too, Isaac realises that a rapier is a necessary back up for Eleanor, so carries one at his hip most of the time.

Personality: Isaac is self-centred and arrogant, which has led him into trouble with the authorities on numerous occasions. He tries to avoid hand-to-hand combat, unless drunk and by then, he will already be engaged in a melee, which has usually broken out over a preposterous claim that Isaac has made.

Isaac prefers to stick to himself most of the time, and because of that, he doesn't care about what other people think of him. He also does not believe magic exists (even though he has attended many demonstrations of it), as he is a man of science and technology

Name: Marcello De Laroche

Race: Human (Spanish, Italian, British Mix)

Explorer or Native: Opposing Explorer

Profession: Conquistador Type

Age: 28

Description: Thin, yet heavy chested Marcello is thought to be quite the strapping Noble. His face is tone, and chiseled, and accentuated by a tanned leathery skin and short dark facial hair. His armor is shimmering with silver colors and on the front adorned with the emblem of his home nation across the Waters.

Weapons and Armour: Light chain mail, covered by shimmering steel plate armor, steel greaves and faucetts. Carries a rapier at his side and is known to be quite proficient. Furthermore, he holsters a musket pistol.

Personality: Marcello is elegant and charismatic amongst his men. He is known for being of high class culture, yet able to last in the harshest of conditions. Marcello is a man's man, and excels at bravado. Furthermore, Marcello is an extremely intelligent and witty person both in battle and conversation.

Motive in the New World: Fame, wealth, and the expansion of Britainia his technologically advanced home land.

Britainia: Highly cultured, highly advanced civilization. Proud and devout to God, and King, yet still held to the allure of wealth and fame.

Just a quick warning, I shan't be able to make a post from now untill Wednesday. I'm at my grandmother's for Christmas and she doesn't have internet access.

Name: Darlantan (nicknamed Darl)

Race: Half-Elf (Half-Human)

Explorer or Native: Explorer

Profession: Apprentice Mage

Age: 71 (which would translate to the apperance of a 21-year old fullblood human)

Description: Darl is a tall, lithe man. Part of his elven mother's heritage. He stands just over six feet tall and has long, perfect brown hair. He covers his pointed ears with the hair to hide his elven heritage as best he can. His eyes are a dull brown, not very noticable, but they notice many things that most humans' don't. Darl is averse to getting dirty and called a pansy by most everyone, but he just doesn't like the feeling of being dirty.

Weapons and Armour: Darl wears a drab grey robe most of the time with multitudes of pockets sewn on the inside. He usually wears a grey headband to keep his hair down over his ears. He owns a short bow and a quiver of arrows and is quite proficient with them. One can never rely totally on wizardry all the time. Though, aside from a belt knife Darl usually goes unarmed.

Personality: Darl is a man of few words. He has become very reticitent due to being persecuted everywhere he went. He signed aboard the [i]Siren[/i] to find a place where he wouldn't be shunned. Darl can be quite an effiminate man. He despises getting dirty (though he will if need arises) and feels no need for competition. Darl is generally easy to get along with, so long as you don't make fun of his heritage. Darl spent his youth with his mother with the elves. He grew so much faster than his peers, though, he was quickly cast out. The elves refuse to associate with an inferiour being such as him. It was then that he set out to find his father, only to find that he had been killed in a drunken brawl while he was still merely a baby. He then set out to find someone who would accept him for who he was. He had heard that wizards were rather peculiar folke who didn't look at your past as others did. So he apprencticed himself to a country wizard by the name of Huge. Darl learned some magic from Huge before Huge fell ill and died. That was when Darl decided he needed to find some place he could call home. So he turned his attention to the "new world."

Name: Chieftan Scar-Eye the Peacemaker

Race: Lizardfolk


Profession: Shaman and Tribal Leader

Age: 46

Description: Scar-Eye is the chieftan and shaman of the Greenblood tribe of Lizardfolk. He is about 6 and a half feet tall, with deep green skin and a reddish scar across his left eye, which looks like an orb of white.

Weapons and Armor: Scar-Eye wears simple green robes, with the symbol of a green drop of blood on a red background on the chest. He carries a staff with a skeletal Goblin hand holding a Goblin skull. He uses lightning spells in combat.

Personality: Scar-Eye seems simple and quiet-tempered at first. He is revered by his people. He prefers to avoid bloodshed if at all possible, but will fight if it means defending his tribe. However, he seems to have a deep hatred of the nearby Goblin tribe, which made war with the Greenbloods several years ago.

Motive in the New World: Make peace with the explorers and keep his tribe safe.


Name: Sylvia

Race: Human


Profession: Duelist

Age: 27

Description: Sylvia has brown hair in a ponytail and blue eyes. She is 5' 2" and wears a brown and white duelist's outfit. She wears a wide-brimmed hat with a white feather on it.

Weapons and Armor: Sylvia doesn't wear armor, as it interferes with movement. She carries an ornate rapier at all times.

Personality: Sylvia loathes being in one place for a long time with nothing to do. She boarded the Siren out of boredom. She is highly talkative, and entertains herself on the ship by talking to the other crew members and practicing with her rapier.

Motive in the New World: Find something to do.

I'm still here, I've just been ill recently and I've had a lot of coursework at school. I'll try and get a post in asap but I'd be grateful if someone else tried taking the RP somewhere so I have something to work on.

Teutonicknught: We'll generally be exploring the land for anything useful, many sailors may think that there is gold or other valaubles buried somwhere and may want to start mining. Now would be a good time just to interact with the characters.

Murlo_Hugger: Both characters are fine, Murloc. You can start playing as soon as you like. (Edit) oops, yoi already have. nevermind, I'll get a post in as soon as my health improves.

Hey, can I add another character? I just had a great idea for a villain. Here it is:

Name: Arnar

Race: Human


Profession: Con-Artist

Age: 32

Description: Arnar is a small, rat-like man. He has blond hair and blue eyes. Other than that, he has no distinguishing features.

Weapons and Armor: Arnar wears plain leather armor. He has daggers concealed all over his body, none of them visible.

Personality: Arnar is greedy beyond belief. He would sell his own mother to make a quick buck, and has actually done just that on several occasions. He is the ringleader of his own personal group of bandits, pirates, and con-artists. He came to the new world stowed away on the Siren, followed by the ship known as the Lucky, which he had swindled a famous pirate captain out of. Backed by his crew, Arnar plans to steal the Siren right out from under the nose of the explorers.

TeutonicKnight, for some reason you keep calling Carrinas, Caridas. Is there some sort of reason for this (a nickname for example) or is it just a typo?

Struggling with her own identity her abilities are limited. she can heal most things but struggles with her self confidence as to why she was given the ability.

Feeling the need to let of steam she became half decent at shooting a bow and arrow. Confused and angry as to why she was left from the herd at an early age to be stuck amongst the chaos of her old world. Thats why she left to come here. would there be a consequence for her leaving without a word of warning to anyone else?

I see you didn't notice my earlier post, so I'll repeat myself. I don't really enjoy playing Scar-Eye that much, so I was wondering if I could replace him after the battle with Arnar. I'll post the character now, so you can approve it if you want:

Name: Deeks

Race: Kobold


Occupation: Pirate

Age: 27

Weapon: Cutlass

Description: Deeks has dark brown skin and yellow eyes. He wears a simple piratey-looking outfit, with his cutlass hanging from a belt.

Personality: Deeks is loyal to those he considers his friends. He is extremely outgoing, but is perfectly willing to fight, especially if it involves shiny things. He signed onto the ship Graymist several years ago to acquire more of said shiny things. He was recently kicked off the ship with nothing but a lifeboat, some supplies, and the only crew member that he doesn't like.

Motive in the New World: Meet new people and find more of the aforementioned shiny things.

I've got a question. Since Darl was bitten by a vampyre, will he be turning into a vampyre himself? Vampyre bites [i]can[/i] do that, but don't always. So, I guess Murloc, would the vampyre have been trying to turn Darl or not?

I actually originally said that it bit Draco, but somebody apparently missed that. As for turning into a vampire, you have to decide.

Well, Draco wasn't even on the ship at the time, so that would have been quite a feat in and of itself to sink its fangs into a person hundreds (or thousands) of feet away, and on the other side of a wooden wall.

And, methinks it would add an interesting twist to things if Darl did, in fact, become a vampyre himself. So I'll run with that.

(and while I did notice, I'm in no position to say anything about it)

Actually, there hasn't been ANY changes since you left. Personally, I think it's only dying(You haven't been gone that long), but if you're done, there's not much hope for it.

Name: Swiftwind

Race: Shifter


Profession: Scout, Tracker

Age: 23

Description: Swiftwind is not exactly someone that just blends into a crowd. His features are noticeably more towards the feral side. He has a layer of short but thick hair that covers his body like a fine fur, his eyes are red and wolf like and give off an eerie glow at night and his teeth are more fang like then regular humans. His hands also seem to have a quality that makes them resemble claws which of course makes others nervous. Typically he dresses in simple clothing, leather breeches, a simply vest, some tribal adornments. He keeps his dark colored hair cut short to keep out of his eyes and most noticeably goes everywhere barefoot.

Weapons and Armor: Doesnt wear armor as he says it bogs him down too much. Carries with him at all times a long bow and a quiver filled with arrows. Along with this he also carries with him a long bladed machete and hunting knife which he is fairly skilled with if things come to fighting while out in wild.

Personality: Swiftwind is always the outsider in any setting. His lineage makes it hard to earn people's trust so frankly he has stopped trying. He lets his reputation speak for itself as far as work is concerned and can usually be found in a room sitting back and observing those around him. He is smart yet silent, when traveling he can usually be found high along a ship's rigging enjoying nature for what it is.

Motive in the New World: To find what has yet to be found.
