This is old world Warhammer. I am a huge fan of the 40K series, but maybe i will most likely participate.

Ha ha! Watch, mods, as I take your welcome post from you!

Hi Mablung, welcome to the RPG Consortium! (even though we've already met. Damn high elves, grumble grumble).

Before you jump into an RP, you should head over to the RP Interest forum and create a thread there. This creates awareness, which lets you gather more members, and also tells you whether or not your RP willl get enough interest for you to get started.
This looks like a fun thread, especially since you worked professionally with this stuff. Note to self: Join!

Hope you enjoy the forums; good to have you here, man.

Character info to be like this, i'll use mine a example:
race: High Elf
profession: Shadow warrior
name: Cyranthir Sorthai
eye colour: purple
hair colour: blonde
distingushing features: scar across his lower leg
weapon: Longow and hand weapon (later in rp better weapons available, have to update)
armour type: light armour (leather)
lore used: (magic users only) (normal fanatasy rules apply)
Personality: Like all shadow warriors Cyranthir hates dark elves and chaos and is considered by all other types of high elves although they all know other than the white lions no other group is more devoted to the Phoenix king. Cyranthir is seen as shaowy and seclusive, very few can get him to open up and explain what troubles his mind.
Background: (pretty hard for mine as its his birth that makes him a shadow warrior, but for humans etc exoplain why he is what he is)

race: Wood Elf (more or less)
profession: Vagabond, formerly Wardancer
name: Lólindir
eye colour: Blue
hair colour: Dark
distingushing features: Short hair; cold, piercing gaze
weapon: Two fine Athel Loren daggers and a Bretonnian crossbow
armour type: None
lore used: None
Personality: Cynical and cold, but sometimes quick-witted. Though he's quite disciplined, Lolindir can be rash, and shows absolutely no loyalty to those above him. This may've been the main factor in him becoming a drifter.
Background: Lolindir spent years as a fighter of Athel Loren, insane enough to rush an enemy rather than shoot him. When the land fell peaceful, he left.
Travelling the lands as a mercenary and hired knife, he gained a passion for travel, gradually losing his touch with the forest. He still looks more natural in the woods than anywhere else, but wouldn't be taken on first impression as a High, Wood or Dark elf; simply an intriguing neutral type.

Let's face it. Elves are just awesome.

will follow when I think of it

I don't mean to bring it down or anything but could you just be a normal saurus, i would prefer to have only core, special or rare choice professions, rather than hero and lord, (otherwise i would of been a elven archmage with the book of hoeth) sorry, you can still keep everything else

Alright he will instead be a Saurus champion with the marks of Sotek and Quetzl.

race: Mortal Chaos (looks human)
profession: Former sorcerer of Tzeentch
name: Jegsar Naga
eye colour: Ice Blue
hair colour: Dark Red
distinguishing features: Long hair; Eyes that seem to almost glow, and a commanding voice that is almost unmistakable
weapon: One jet black longsword.
armour type: Light leather armor that badly damaged and seems to almost be apart of him instead of something that he wears. he also has a black clock over him.
lore used: Lore of Tzeentch
Personality: Hard thinker; Only says what is required of him and stays fairly silent. always seem so to be scheming
Background: Jegsar's beginning is almost completely shrouded in darkness even to himself. The first thing he remembers is when he was around 5 years old. His entire childhood was spent with the daemons of chaos in other realms and planes of existence. when he turned 16 he was sent to the mortal realm in the northern lands of chaos. It was there that he learned how to survive on his own without the need of any help. He was able to bring together chaos marauders and survive by killing endlessly. When he turned 18 he was suddenly taken off this realm and brought back to the realms of chaos. Then he learn the truth, the chaos gods new this child was something special. He had powers as a child that other mortals could only dream about. He quickly learned from the gods that oder cannot exist without chaos and chaos cannot exist without order. It was this lesson that angered the gods. They banished him back to the mortal realm and striped him from the majority of his powers. Ever since he has been on a quest to gain his lost powers back, and to keep the balance of the universe together. He still retains some of his powers but he is only a shadow of his former self.

Note: Jegsar has no special powers in the game other then those grated by the lore of Tzeentch. He would be considered a chaotic neutral character in D&D terms.
Can he join this thread?

hmm, yes on one condition, if he does regain his powers, he'll not be as powerful as say teclis or Nagash or Kroak, this being a technical impossibilty, with one being immortal, the other being dead, and the other being of the race of aenarion, plus, he'll have to have a weakness as well, e.g arrogance or something

I don't really want him to regain his powers because if he did he wouldn't have a quest against evil anymore. he would only want to make sure that good nor evil ever won the eternal war. Also the only way for him to regain his powers is if the gods of chaos gave them back considering he couldn't actually harm the gods themselves it's unlikely that he will regain his powers.

If he were to i would say he would be equal to a really pissed off daemon prince of Tzeentch that had been fused with Be'lakor, the Dark Master. As far as actual powers in warhammer terms he would gain something like the entire lore of Tzeentch, maybe the dark lore (I think that is what it's called. it's the lore Be'lakor uses.) also some supernatural protection of some sort. However all of this is not set in stone and is unlikely to happen. I don't think it should unless there is a point in the campaign where we the heroes become a major role in whatever is happening in the rest of the world.
