Setting: General Fantasy (AD&D References)

MY CHAR:
Name: Astaries
Race: crystal/blue hybrid
Age: 120
Sex: Male

Appearance: Ataries is as noted a crystal/blue dragon hybrid, his scales are all crystalline and have a bright blue tint. He stands about 8'9" at his shoulder, his head soaring to nearly 14' from the ground. His length is about 50ft, his wingspan nearly triples that length.

History: Astaries is a rarity as a hybrid never truly accepted by any of the dragon societies... but he has survived and that will gain him a measure of respect by the others. He is now learning to fly and will search out human establishements and test out his magic prowess...

well I hadn't intended this to take a Dragonlance Setting but I suppose it will work.

Appearance: Depends on her mood.

why? please describe.... if she's human why would her appearance change with her mood???

With her parents both a mystery, she has no history as of yet. But she sometimes wonders where her journey may take her.

Please change this some, she Has a history, just not one that she knows...please elaborate.

Well, here it goes:

Appearance: Ursa wears rags, which are mostly dark blue and tan. She gets her food from any place she can. She is not rich, but is rather stained. She rarely bathes and thinks its a waste of time. Sometimes she ties a traveler's bag around her waist, which holds all her conveniences. She carries a pack behind her, which holds all her possessions.

History: Ursa's mother and father are both unimportant in the eyes of Kyrnn. Ursa's mother was a prostitute. Ursa's father is thought to be a knight of Tarsisis who frequented the local prostitutes during his term guarding Sanctuary. Although Ursa's mother thinks she mothered her child, instead, Mina had predicted her fall and through her magic impregnated Ursa's mother. This explains why her mother doesn't feel love for her child, but would rather sell her.

Ursa herself feels different from her mother and often wonders whether or not she is truly from this plane of existence. Nevertheless, she has adopted her mother's customs by sleeping with men (on occassions) and finding money through less than standard means. She is a human, born in sanctuary, the last stronghold against Mina the Necromancer.

Although still young, she is coming to her mother's age when (minas) first experienced her bouts of power.

Additional note: Oh, and I picked Dragonlance for a reason. Although I haven't read it that much...

ooc: sorry for the past post, it was somewhat slow and it was meant to be joking. also, do we have a specific direction or do we just interact normally. you said something about astar being human and people not knowing he is human. may i ask what type of intent you meant in that?

IC: On board a boat, a little girl cried, "daddy! daddy! I just saw a dragon!"

Her father, a towering knight of Tarsisis, laughed.

The little girl watched the dragon's long wingspan flap across the horizon. Gliding, it seemed like a long lowly cloud.

M'kay... ...that's not what I said about Astar... I never said he was human...I meant that he could take human form so no one would know he was a dragon....

And it's Knights of Takhisis not Tarsisis (Tarsis is the name of a town in Dragonlance, located in the western parts of the Plains of Dust...)

AND as I already stated, this doesn't have a strict plot as of yet, perhaps we will eventually but not right now.

M'kay yeah, my fault. i didn't look up where sanction was either. nor did i look up who was guarding it. apparently, there was no human fort there...

anyway, I'll post my next post about the meeting. it'll be a surpise, and i think it'll add to the plot significantly....

WTF???

it was just an idea. you were in the middle of describing all the family relations so I thought why not let astaries be the father of this character. creates intriguing history

you can either accept it or leave it, in either case my character will follow whatever you do

father of what character?? yours? perhaps.... got any ideas?

got any ideas

Well, being father and daughter, rather than unite our bond by being kind and cuddly, we could solidify our hold by enslaving the entire land of Krynn in a wave of death and destruction. I'm sure that Astaries, being the rarity that he is, must have made some enemies. If anyone dares rebel against us, we simply send over a million undead creatures and bring a cataclysmic inferno and lay waste to their land.

I'm sure you've never done a war rpg before, but I have. It's very fun.

... well I don't think that Astares being your chars father is a good idea, as there are no such things as 'half-dragons' in the Dragonlance Settings.... I just don't think it's a good idea.

I'd like to join in if it is not to late.

My character has all of her information here;
http://www.geocities.com/ziptitanmember/index.html

I tend to use her quite a bit, and will be updating the Character Sheet soon enough if it isn't up to your requirements. Do let me know if I am welcome.

Lreth

Yeah... I guess, it's okay with the producer...

I take that back, I'll post as soon as I make sense of what Lreth is doing..
