Here's my character info:
Name: Anthony Partridge
Gender: Male
Age: 23
Occupation: Resistance Leader
Description: Long, blond hair, tied at the back; bright, blue eyes; fair skin; wears a black trenchcoat at all times; and carries at least four loaded guns with him.
Background: Anthony tried to enter the Monasteries and become a cleric like his uncle but was denied so he opted as a city guard. He was assigned to the Hall of Enforcement and climbed quickly through the ranks becoming an execution guard. He watched hundreds incinerated for sense offense without the slightest twitch. One morning, out of simple tardiness, he forgot to take his dose of Prozium and had to go the whole day without it. Had anyone seen the tears behind the guard's black helmet, he would have been immediately killed.
Anthony was later contacted by The Resistance and welcomed. Before disappearing, he managed to smuggle a large number of weapons and ammunition giving him a good name among the rebels. He was left in charge after the initial leaders sacrificed themselves for John Preston's plot. His first task is to rescue the leaders from the Hall of Enforcement.

I just realized I'm being a bit of a smart-ass. Here's a list of terms for those who haven't watched the movie multiple times. :D After all it did come out in 2002

Monastery - Where Clerics are trained in the art of gun katas.
Cleric (Grammaton Cleric) - The ultimate enforcer of the law in Libria.
Equilibrium - Building that supplies the citizens of Libria with Prozium.
Prozium - Drug used by the citizens of Libria to suppress emotion.
Palace of Justice - Building where the major
Hall of Enforcement - Equivalent of a prison. Sense offenders are incinerated here.
Libria - City (country?) in North America where this "perfect society" is located.
The Resistance - Those who rebel against Libria and the Clerics.
Sense Offence - Crime of "feeling" by stopping the dose of Prozium or owning emotion-creating artefacts (art, literature, music, etc.)
Gun Kata - Series of movements using a gun that statistically will kill as many opponents as possible with a minimum number of shots.
John Preston - Protagonist of the Equilibrium movie.

Balthazar could you add a character background; it doesn't have to be as long as mine, just a summary of his life before the story.

This sounds interesting, i have seen the film but it was ages ago so if i make any mistakes just tell me and i'll edit.

Here's my character,

Name: Keaira Morningstar
Gender: Female
Age: 21
Occupation: Resistance

Description: She has messy blonde hair that reaches just past her shoulders and sticks out in all directions, which she keeps stuffed beneath a black cap. She has almond shaped eyes that are green flecked red. She also has two vertical scars that cut across each eye. As a result she wears black shades to hide them.
Her clothes consist of knee length boots over black pants and loose tops which hide her slender figure and give her the appearance of a teenager which she uses to her advantage. She carries two guns in holsters at her hips, two slim knives tucked into her boots and two further knives bound to her forearms beneath her clothing.
She wears a silver pendant round her neck on a black cord.

Background: Keaira is the daughter of a cleric. Her father was responsible for destruction of all who resist the rules and was a top ranking government agent. For the first eight years of her life Keaira was dosed with Prozium regularly by another on instruction form her father. Her mother, Nathalia, had tried to take her when she was two months old to join the resistance with her but her father had caught her and killed her. As a result there had always been someone keeping a watchful eye on the young Keaira lest her mother's ability to feel somehow have affected her child.
But her father had not thought of searching his child carefully on that night and he had missed the small pendant round the child's throat.

Each night Keaira would lie with her hand gripping the pendant at her throat but she had never had a chance to do anything for every time she begun to feel emotions she was dosed.
Then when she eight years old the woman who normally dosed her never came. To this day Keaira never understood why but she owes her freedom to that act of forgetfulness. That night without her usual doze Keaira was free to feel and she took that opportunity to escape. It was not hard as her father never spent time with her depending instead on others to do it for him.

Keaira wandered the streets for sometime, narrowly avoiding the patrolling guards until she was eventually taken in by a group of resistance fighters. They taught her everything she would need in order to survive. For thirteen years she trained hard not only in armed and unarmed combat but also in the art of stealth and Keaira learned very passage secret and known in Libria.
For she has one task in mind to kill the man responsible for the death of thousands of innocents, the man who killed her mother, her father. And now with the fall of the 'Father' she can finally achieve this.

Hey guys mind if I join? I've seen the movie only about twice but I loved it. I thought it was better than the matrix. forgive me if I get any of the details wrong.

Character Info
Name: Fenix Hades
Gender: Male
Age: 28
Occupation: (Citizen, Cleric, Resistant, Guard, etc...) Grammaton Cleric

Description: Fenix is tall and thin with a slight build. He has short jet black hair which is kept uniformly slicked back against his skull in conformity with Cleric regulations. His eyes are cold and black, devoid of any and all emotion, but those eyes are trained to detect even the subtlest of abnormalities and always seem to be asking "What are you doing?" His face is long with sharp angles, puncuated by thin lips which have never formed a smile. He wears the black Cleric's coat over typical Cleric cloathing, all rather drab and designed to erase as much indivuality as possible.

Background: With the death of Father and Jon Preston's betrayal, Fenix emerged as the commander of the Libria guard and thus, is solely responsible for the city's defense and it's people. If Libria has an ultimate leader in it's crisis, Fenix is it. Fenix is an absolute fanatic who believes wholeheartedly in the utopia created with the use of Prozium. He was born in Libria, under the prozium system and showed promise even as a child when he reported both of his parents for sense offense after they kissed him goodbye one morning. At the age of 6 he watched both of them die in the incinerators. When he was 9 Fenix was accepted into the monastery and proved to be one of Libria's shining stars of true, merciless justice. Fenix sees the uprising of the resistance as a foul plague with the intent to destroy all that was good in the world and he intends to end this rebellion once and for all.

Fenix leads the cities defense from within the most secure building in the city: Equilibrium

I thought it was better than the matrix.

Aye! Of course you can join. And don't worry about details (not that you got anything wrong). Will you be needing a short summary of the story or will you read it?
Jump in the storyline as you best see fit.
