Our games are laid back, we take turns on who cooks or buys dinner. With 3 guys and 3 gals, it gets interesting because men and women just don't think or play the same. Alot of interparty conflict happens, but no one has died from it........ yet.

How Valar got into roleplaying:
I got into Rpg's by a friend some 30 years ago. He introduced me to a new type game called "Chain mail" designed by an unknown by the name of Gary Gygax. It was a small booklet of rules which later became D&D. Some years later, I was about 24 y/o, a new friend learned that I was a casual gamer and introduced me to RoleMaster. It took a couple of months to really sell me on the new system, but I'll never go back. RoleMaster is truly a superior system.

Some helpful hints for new players getting into RPGs:
I have 3 rules for those that play in my games.... Rule #1: Have fun !!! Rule #2: Do something, even if it's wrong. Don't just sit there and watch. Rule #3: If you do screw-up, see Rule #1. Have fun, it's a game..... and just a game. Yes you should play it as seriously as your GM makes the game, but that's what you're there for in the first place isn't it? To have fun?
