How ANuhunar got into roleplaying:
I had many fiends who RPed regularly. I was adverse to joining at first. Then, I received a few commissions to draw characters. I sat in on a few games to get a feel for the character's personality. I got to see the fun and shenanigans, and I agreed to play, but only if the game was star wars based. Two weeks later, I started gaming.
So far, I've only played Star Wars rpg on the Lenharrow system. I have not tried D&D yet.

Some helpful hints for new players getting into RPGs:
Dont be nervous about limitations and don't be afraid to ask your Gm questions.
