How Amy_McGregor got into roleplaying:
My bigbrothers then current girlfriend was tabletop roleplaying at a local RP association and she old me about it and I thought that it sounded very funny and I asked her to take me there. My first character was a gay elf named Lerion.

Some helpful hints for new players getting into RPGs:
Just have fun and try to vary your character and the system you are playing. Listen and learn and.... *looses track of what I was saying*
