I'm 25 years old at the time of this writing. I naturalized citizen of U.S. of A. English is of course my second language, so there...be patient with me...I'm slow sometimes. :)

Nah, if seriously...I was always fascinated by the ability of writers to make a story. I tried myself at doing something similar and it worked, nothing grand or amazing...and I myself wasn't very satisfied. However my friends oddly enough found my stories pretty funny. So I did that for a bit...more to entertain my friends, then myself really...

Then I came across roleplaying and thought that it's an interesting concept. You write something and nearly instantly get a reply back. It was interesting, I think of it as acting in theatre and perhaps even writing a book together with 5-10 people all at the same time.

As a player it's fun, but as GM...well that's completely different story. You never know what the player will choose and if you came in prepared with the ready tale to tell them...they always choose the wrong turn..and screw you over with that. But it's all good, makes it even more rewarding and fun for both players and GMs

Some helpful hints for new players getting into RPGs:
Don't be nervous, we've all been there. Most of the players/GMs I've ever met are the nicest bunch in the world, so if you have a question simply ask. If you have trouble posting aka writers block write something and someone will back play from that. Who knows that someone may help you out and get that darn "block" out.
