How jbazin got into roleplaying:
My babysitter played the old West End Games version of Star Wars. I loved Star Wars, so he invited me to come play with him in his group. I then looked for websites to play at online, which I've done most of my RPG career. I'm a retired administrator at a Star Wars PBP site, and I recently started a new PBP site, which I hope starts to flourish in the near future.
