I like shoes. If it didn't seem silly I'd adopt 'You can NEVER have too many shoes' as a personal motto- because you never can, and men just can't understand that. I get cranky easily.I have mild synasthesia and poor eyesight (but excellent nightvision, hooray for carrots) I appreciate good spelling and grammar, and also a nice Chilean red. Horses running make me cry, but I'm fine with onions (breathe through the mouth, that's the trick). I've been told I make noises 'like a wild beast' when in bed- mainly while I'm sleeping. I only ever cheated once on an exam- I was seven and still regret it. I confirm pretty much every stereotype about redheads, except being bad luck on boats (so far). I want to go to Japan and Borneo.

How nanuk got into roleplaying:
Through Dragonlance. Read and loved the books, went looking for a site back when I and most of the world were internet noobs, and this was the first place I found. So was into PBP Rping, and from that got into table top (RPing hadn't really taken off here yet, some Magic: the gathering, but that was about it). Currently rocking 4E with a warlock so awesome that I am ruined for any other character class ever.

Some helpful hints for new players getting into RPGs:
Watch and learn! See how other people on the site/RL game RP to get an idea of how things are done- and ask questions! If in doubt, always ask questions. And listen to your elders :P
