How Shiakuu_Hitome got into roleplaying:
I began roleplaying by semi-LARPing. Sort of. My friend and I, at age nine, created Pokemon OCs, and we used a combination of dictating what was going on and acting things out using bicycles for large monsters to ride on and toys for PokeBalls.

A few years later (we sort of let our Poke-RP die out, though we sometimes pull our characters out, just for shits and giggles), my friend and I, along with a few other of our friends, started roleplaying in the Yu Yu Hakusho world, using similar parameters. We roleplayed at our sleep-away camp, and we all lived far apart from one another, so we started getting involved with Forum-based roleplay (Play by Post, I guess). One thing led to another, and now I'm a co-mod of a Roleplay section of a smaller site.
