Well lets see I've been playing RPGs since i was about 8. i started playing D&D at that point. I'm 16 almost 17 now. around 13 or 14 i started playing the star wars RPG. I've been playing two types of games long then role playing games... the first is computer/video games (what can i say i don't have much of a life at three in the morning) and magic the gathering.

I started playing magic the gathering when i was 6, about to turn 7. I've been playing it ever since until about last February when i don't know happened but i suddenly got a life. when i was 10 i started playing War Hammer 40,000, and fantasy four years later. i haven't played them in a long time either even though I've been dieing for a game. I've been playing D&D every summer since i first learned about it. next summer I'm going to be an instructor at the camp i used to go to and i'll be getting paid to play D&D.

since i was 13 I've also been playing MMORPGs. i started with Everquest. I've played EQ, EQ2, Star Wars, Planet Side, World of Warcraft, and Guild Wars (when it was in beta) MMORPGs.

i also have been involved in message board RPing. lately I've had a lot of stuff to do so thats all i have time for. and with that i think i'm going to go do some of my homework.

How jegsar got into roleplaying:
At Camp i heard people talking about it and them i saw a D&D boxed game in a store. so i convinced my mom to get it and I've been playing ever since.

Some helpful hints for new players getting into RPGs:
if your starting out i would and interested in a pencil/paper game i would advise Dungeons and Dragons. for a MMORPG i would advise World of Warcraft or Everquest one.
