A little about Airiana (the character)...

Born a Silver/Red. My mother tried to kill me and all of my siblings, she succeeded in killing all but me. The Silvers taught me what they thought I needed to know in the world to survive and gave me several spell books. I journeyed to my father; he and the Reds attempted to kill me, calling me an abomination. Since then, I wandered Krynn, helping fellow Dragons and going on any adventure I could. I also tried my best to help any creature in need. I traveled sometimes with my Dearest friend, Furanthas, who gave me the Heart-Emerald. My life ended trying to prevent Takhisis from re-entering the world, but my legacy lives on... through my mate Matthiass, my daughter Calista, and my grandchildren Taet, Lieke, and Gonowit.

How Airiana got into roleplaying:
I RPGed in a Redwall-themed RPG for a while (probably about two years or so, though I can't remember completely), and this Dragonlance RPG since about December 1999. Oh yeah, and just a note: I've done tabletop only a few sessions, and have never done live-action. Mainly I just do text-based (and of course then there's RPG video games, especially MMOs... and that goes on for a while).

Some helpful hints for new players getting into RPGs:
Just do your best and don't get offended if someone gives you advice--they're generally trying to help, not piss you off!
