This exotic creature lives on all three inhabited planets of the system. It looks like a giant jellyfish with hundreds of tentacles. That is the reason for it's name. Incredibly, it only weights between 25 and 50 kilograms and it can float in the air. It averages in size between 5 to 10 meters.

This creature is a translucent white color, but it can change colors at will and often does when in contact with others of it's kind. The Ice Jelly changes colors by emitting a natural cold light. This light can be seen from far away, and it's appearrance is accompanied by sounds that are similar to notes emited by a tubular pipe organ. Researchers believe that this is the natural way of communicating for this creature. Watching this creature at night is a sight to behold.
