During a broadcast that night, they kept showing a countdown to the end, and at halftime they asked him his opinion of all the hype. His response: "People are stupid, Ernie."Which is to say, I imagine that means people that got themselves worried probably don't remember much about their respective infancies. 2011 was way more apocalypsey than 2012. |
