However I am pumped about the PS3 and phsyched to here that not only is their trhe new Metal Gear on their, which looks amazing, but a new installment to the Horro Silent Hill Series. WIth the new graphics of that system, I can only imagine the creepy stuff they can add into it now."They that can give up essential liberty to purchase a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty or safety." -Benjamin Franklin "Nor would I, were I given the full rights of an Englishman. But to call me one without those rights is like calling an ox a bull. He's thankful for the honor, but he'd much rather have restored what's rightfully his."- Ben Franklin in 1776 |

I'd wager to say that so far it's my favourite of all of them. *goes back to hunting beasties in FF12* If I went around claiming I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me they'd put me away! Though it would be funner if my damn bassist would stop screwing up the songs! Next week, Smackdown vs. Raw 2007. *shudder* The thought of half-naked men beating the hell out of each other really shouldn't be that appealling... But, oh it is. 2011 was way more apocalypsey than 2012. |

Member Since: June 2001 RK: 13 MP: 6,622 | Saturday February 10, 2007 1:54 PM I just bought SimCity 4. I've been a long time fan of the game. Sadly, I think less is more and find that I still get more enjoyment out of the 2000 version. In a way I can appriciate the detail they put into all the factors you've got to deal with but it's only added to making it feel less like a game and more like actual work. As well I feel like I'm fighting the system when I'm trying to build. But I'm most fustrated by the fact that I need to constantly pop in a CD and here my buzz saw drive constantly go off to play it. I'll play an 8 bit game like "Conquest" over and over again because it's fast to load, fast to close and doesn't require a lot of time commitment. I like to bound back and forth from playing to surfing the net which just can't be done with Simcity 4. It requires too much attention and even the toggling between browser to game screen takes an idle 10 seconds of time.
