I spent 250+ hours on the first one and never got bored with it. 2 has even more things to dive into . . . *drools* If I went around claiming I was an emperor just because some moistened bint had lobbed a scimitar at me they'd put me away!    Member Since: June 2001  RK: 13 MP: 6,622 | Saturday September 2, 2006 8:17 PM Prince of Persia and the Two Thrones for the PS2 finally fell in price to 20 bucks. It's being shipped as I type. It better be much improved from Warrior Within. As soon as I saw the menu with the combo button moves I knew it wasn't going to measure up to the Sands of Time.The Prince of Persia series has never been about button smashing. Love the Superstar mode, where you play as one player through their career. As a quarterback, I actually find little more satisfying than tossing it to my halfback, only to run out with him and cream the defender that thinks he's going to get him. *shudders with joy at the image of a defender getting flipped over by a weeny little QB*2011 was way more apocalypsey than 2012. |

Vampire is an excellent game but... oh my, this is the Ultimate Buggy Game. Even with all of the unofficial patch installed. Shame Troika is closed down.  "It's not pinin', it's passed on! And every time I play it again, I discover something new about it. (I never bother with walkthroughs so I could not "unlock" its secrets in the first run(s). ) Same with Fallout 2. Member Since: June 2001 RK: 13 MP: 6,622 | Tuesday September 12, 2006 2:04 PM I -was- playing Prince of Persia and the Two thrones. I beat it today. It only took about 3 days. I guess I got my 20 bucks worth. I was highly dissapointed with it though.I hated the double weapon combo attack B.S. People booed at Warrior Within and yet T2T's was more true to that than the Sands of Time. I did like some of the enviroments though. I enjoyed the dark caverens, illuminated by the flickering light of the prince's disease. I liked the shiney marble areas of the upper Tower. The puzzles were incredibly lame. These last two games have taken the PoP franchise in a horribly wrong direction. Thank God the story is over. Maybe a new team will come along in 7 years to put it back on track. I still don't understand it though because they did everything right with the Sands of time and yet they completely ignored its sucsess and decided to model it after the failed sequel of WW. ± Sometimes to become great one must become small ± |

Xenosaga III! So, now I am currently playing that. Just to warn anyone who is going to buy the game, there are serious religious overtones in the third one. No longer are they hinting, they've gone full on DaVinci Code on us. Other than that, great game.Leader of the Amazonian Army, and fighter for the Female Initiative.
