He is gone, but his dog is found dead, and signs point to him leaping into the lake. People seem to throw themselves into the lake under an evil spell, and local legends tell of a foul ghost haunting the place. A decent enough pseudo-horror mystery story, proving that Norwegian filmmakers could make decent stuff before Max Manus and Død Snø. Still, the 'science' was bullshit. I feel happy...I feel happy! How can I forget getting ushered in the theater with my parents, waiting for what seemed for ever for the movie to start. As soon as the previews ended my father said, "welp, that's the end. How did you like the movie?" I was soooo pissed off. Ah, memories. He's just like Mr. Rogers 90% of the time but every once in awhile he'll be an absolute dick with a joke. ± Sometimes to become great one must become small ± |
