I remember the Wheelers used to creep me out as a kid, though. And the whole climax with the Nome King and the nomes reaching out of the walls to grab at Dorothy and company. Still, wonderful stuff. 2011 was way more apocalypsey than 2012. |

I especially remember that corridor with the spare heads... Excellent though. And Tik Tok! I loved him and his little moustache. Am watching 'Rough Aunties', a documentary by Kim Longinotto about a group called Bobbi Bear working in Durban, in South Africa. It's a group of women, white and zulu, working to help abused and raped kids. It's brilliant and utterly, utterly heartbreaking. Have spent most of it crying. It's an unbearable thing, to watch children who have eyes permanently full of tears, but who are so quiet. These women are just... awe inspiring. Their strength, and the ferocity of their commitment to protecting these children is just staggering. "Just imagine the headlines 'Howard Moon, Colon, Explorer'. Got a ring to that don't it?" "Colon Explorer?" "You know what I'm saying." |

YAY!!!!) And I have come to really like him. He's a bit more violent than he's been before. A bit more acerbic and put-downish, but quite good. Much better than Davison. I'm not sure if I think he's better than McCoy, but it's close enough that I have to think about it. We'll see when I start on McCoy. Member Since: October 2000 RK: 14 MP: 7,187 | Friday August 6, 2010 12:01 PM just finished the multipart "Trial of a Time Lord". So long Colin Baker. I disliked him when I was younger, but now I wish he had been given more seasons and a grander send-off than his regeneration in "Time and the Rani".Guess I will have to rustle up the Sixth Doctor novels. Only problem is, I can never really tell which Doctor is which just by reading the books. I feel happy...I feel happy! "I contend that we are both atheists. Now to go back and watch the episodes I skipped the first time around because I had seen them in the last 10 years. that should keep me occupied a while longer. Have also seen "The Fifth Element" again. Lovely film. Chris Tucker must have had a blast playing Ruby Rhod. I feel happy...I feel happy! "I contend that we are both atheists.
