QUOTED  ALL of season one of Game of Thrones. Had to catch up before season 2.

Tyrion is literally the best casting ever. EVER.

Watched Repo! The Genetic Opera to get myself all psyched up for these people making a new horror musical. Still adore this movie; it's gory, it's funny, it's creepy, and the music is SO catchy.

QUOTED  Watched the new The Muppets movie. I'm a muppet fan, and I was skeptical at first but the new movie is hilarious.

One of the best movies of the year, easily.

Seriously love Tyrion. I'm also pretty fond of Arya, and am pretty happy with the girl they cast as her.

I've been lobbying the local musical theater troop to do the full 3 act version of this. I want to play Grave-robber.

At the moment, I am watching Iron Man from the Ultimate Edition BluRay (the case is a little Iron Man helmet!)

More Firefly and Young Justice. This is the first YJ episode that seemed to be little more than filler. The animation and direction seemed annoying and not as good as the rest of the series. Not a bad episode as such, just a bit disappointing compared to the rest. We shall hope it picks up again next week.

Young Justice has definitely picked up again. Maybe a bit too easy resloution to the problem, but it does make sense.

Started working on our DVD backlog again, with Bunraku. A very stylized story of revenge and melee combat in a no-firearms world.
I suspect it was originally a manga.

Just finished Death Valley finally. I'm so sad this show got canceled - the first decent show MTV has had since Beavis & Butthead ended, and they leave off on a cliffhanger, as things are getting good.

Great blend of humor and horror. I heard they're shopping around for a new medium, so hopefully someone's smart enough to pick up this gem.

Recently it has been MI4: Ghost Protocol, followed up by Fright Night, the new one. I found both very entertaining.

Ghost protocol was actually pretty decent, something I rarely say about spy thriller/action movies. I don't like Tom Cruise, but it was a very well done movie in all respects. Don't think I'll bother picking it up on dvd, or even bother watching if it came on TV, but it kept me entertained all the way through at the theater.

I've been watching Coen brothers movies when Shana's been sleeping. Developing a taste for their style.

Anyone you can describe as chipper is to be avoided. You never know when they'll crack. Eventually, they're gonna start gnawing on the nearest thing they can, whether it's a hood ornament or wristwatch, wrist still attached; a moment when that uniform they've made for themselves breaks down and they fall to pieces, right out of it. Give me the life-haters any day. They'll play you straight. -Oobie
