Anyone else excited for this one?

Trailer #1

Summary, from IMDB:

In the year 2019, a plague has transformed most every human into vampires. Faced with a dwindling blood supply, the fractured dominant race plots their survival; meanwhile, a researcher works with a covert band of vamps on a way to save humankind.

I've been keeping an eye out since a guy I know in the horror circuit caught it at a film festival and was raving up a storm - kind of sounds like a spiritual successor to I Am Legend. After the trailer came out, I was sold.
Loved the Spierig brothers' first movie, "Undead", love Ethan Hawke, and this looks like a nice kick in the pants to the vampire genre. They're not supposed to spend their time moping about highschool, people!

It was cool, I don't think it's really a kick in the pants to anything, leans more towards being satirical than horror-like. Although I do think it does justice to the vampire genre, and it's a fun movie to watch, and I'd watch it again. It lingers on being a little disturbing, which I enjoy when it comes to horror movies because I think it should make you question what people do in a movie, and whether there would be a better way. There should always be an element about a horror movie that just sits in a creepy way with people when they're done watching it, and I think this movie does that a bit.
