I can't envy you the bands, but I can envy you the fact that you get to watch three bands you like.

have a good time.

I demand some good Lich stories of this little escapade of yours when you come back. I hope you've had a good time. I'm too old for concerts :/

Exodus:

Blew me away... channel youthful energy into my old bones and enabled me to thrash like I was 17 again. However, I am not... but I'm not as tore up as I thought I would be. My throat and feet are killing me right now. I scored a nice new concert shirt: Bonded by Blood on the front with tour dates in the back and the title of 25 Years of Blood. Plus, I got it autographed by all the band members... sweet!

The coolest thing, i guess there was some old fart like me there as well, but he had brought his three shitheels kids. So at the end, the singer got the security to bring them all up, and the two guitarists and bassist gave them their instruments, while holding down a chord for them, and let the kids strum away while the drummer pounded out some tempo... the crowd went nuts for them. It was totally cool, I never seen kids with a bigger smile on their face.

Testament:

Like single malt scotch whisky... gets better with age. It was like 1985 again, at the Omni in Oakland. Total old school set, playing the songs off their debut album. Them, much like Exodus was unfamiliar with the majority of the crowd as they were mostly dumbfuck teenagers with shit taste in metal. They threw down some education. Again I was deluded to my actual age and I locked horns with the young bucks... some of which solicited me to hoist them up for some crowd surfing. Got me a bad ass retro-esque tour shirt from them as well.

Megadeth:

Dave Mustaine is offically a Metal God... watching him blaze those solo's live was like watching De Vinci paint the Sistine Chapel. They busted out with Set the World Afire and Wake Dead, then in light of Rust in Peace celebrating it's 20th aniversery, played the album live from start to finish. Before hand, he had those who weren't alive when that album was released cheer, and like 80 percent of the audience responded. Age had finally caught up with me again... lol. AFter that, they did some new material, then closed the set with mother-fuckin' Peace Sells.

In summery, fucking off the hook. One of the best metal shows I've seen in twenty years of such activities.

I want to set that blood sucking leech lawyer on fire for garnishing my wages. FUCKER!

QUOTED  watching him blaze those solo's live was like watching De Vinci paint the Sistine Chapel.

Michaelangelo painted the chapel, DaVinci painted the Mona Lisa....Oi.
