2011 was way more apocalypsey than 2012.

QUOTED  Yeah, it's a great soundtrack. Superb movie, as well.

Highly agreed on both points.

Finally coming around on the movie?

Listening to Gogol Bordello's newest album, "Super Taranta", as it just arrived from Amazon. The site, not the home of the likes of Kit and Nanuk.

Listening to the Mass Effect OST... while reading a Mass Effect novel... and queuing a Mass Effect Audio book to listen to as I go to sleep... *sigh*

-Love- the Mass Effect OST. Of course, like you, I've got several playthroughs with the game and find myself getting twitchy when I think about waiting for number 2. How are the novels? Haven't tried any of them yet.

"Not dying today", off Tori Amos' latest album. Not her best album, but I think I like it better than the Beekeeper.

They're not as bad as I expected, though tbh any bad feeling I have about them is, I think, coloured by the awful audio book version. Generally quite good and well written for a tie in. Only two chapters in the first one that irritated me, and they both involved the human ambassador interacting with the Citadel Council ('you better wake up and realise humans are here to staaay!').

First one is about Anderson's ill fated Spectre try out with Saren, so that was pretty cool. Second one is set just after the end of the game, and is more about the machinations of Cerberus- though there's more fluff than detail. Definitely worth a read- especially as you'll finish each of them in a couple of hours.

Listening to some Eagles. They played in Dublin last week. I was very sad not to go
