A sizable SFF section, which seems to come from one or two people, considering the age and imprints of the books. A new load of Heinlein and Asimov, van Vogt and a smattering of other authors thrown in. I buy half a dozen or so, come home and find out that I've already got three of them. One in the exact same printing.I never used to make mistakes like that. I feel happy...I feel happy! "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. The various parts of the Belgariad and Mallorean in multiple copies (mostly, this was due to grab bags, but some were because I lost the book...to find them later.) Multiple copies of Number of the Beast, two copies of the original Krondor series, four copies of I, Robot.[[Edited by Silveran on Friday May 11, 2012 4:17 AM]] Death before Dishonor -- Nothing before Coffee Nihil curo de ista tua stulta superstitione |

Then I thought about it, saw they were just running around and not ruining everything and decided that telling them to bugger off would just be a dickish move. Then I felt really old. Member Since: October 2000 RK: 14 MP: 7,187 | Friday August 10, 2012 4:15 PM I think I should move this to Member's Lounge if I continue to post non-bookish topics, but here goes. The other day my gf starts playing around with my hair, then looks intently at the top and says "I think you're thinning". Before this I had kind of laughed at people who feel their manhood or youth or both threatened by the loss of hair, but right then I though "No! Not me!" Granted, a few hours later I had calmed down and decided that if it at some point got too thin I just cut it all off rather than try to keep wispy hair in an attempt to cling to it (and no comb-overs or toupees or shit *shudder*). But just that moment of disbelief and pseudi-panic made me feel really old. I feel happy...I feel happy! "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. When you understand why you dismiss all the other possible gods, you will understand why I dismiss yours." - Stephen Roberts |

I've been taking care of myself since I was eighteen, work almost full time, run a small art business, -and- am still in college. If I spoke spanish I might even start yelling at the neighbor kids to get off my lawn. Everywhere I go I repeat: I do not belong here.
