Member Since: April 2002 RK: 15 MP: 9,002 | Monday April 2, 2012 7:11 AM Still powering through The Vampire Diaries books, currently on Book 4, "Dark Reunion". I'm killing a book about a week lately. Once I'm done with this series, I have a backlog of about 20 other books on my Kobo, as well as a backlog of about 15 other different audio books."Kindness in words creates confidence. I really should get away from the screens. :sI feel happy...I feel happy! "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. A good enough start, but the mysterious man we see in glimpses throughout the book is pathetic and the books ends with the wind dropping as inexplicably as it started, without a single word about why, how or what the human race is up to afterwards. Like, as I write this, since it's an audiobook. -grins-"Kindness in words creates confidence. Kindness in thinking creates profoundness. Kindness in giving creates love." Not as good, sadly, but still an unadulterated pleasure to the eye. And not a bad story as such. Yet another 'group of supervillains band together to take down the heroes'.I feel happy...I feel happy! "I contend that we are both atheists. I just believe in one fewer god than you do. Some of the stuff I found in Oxford in November. So far a pulp-ish, Jack Vance-y story. Jack Vance is good, and so far an interesting enough knock-off. I feel happy...I feel happy!
