Not enough to really make you angry and want to break something, but definitely isn't making you happy. Annoyance is the hubby watching football. When he's watching that, he hears absolutely nothing. If there weren't commercials, he wouldn't even think to go check on the food until the smoke alarm went off, assuming he'd hear that.  |

My baby shower is scheduled for the day after Christmas and I won't be taking a bus home for the holidays like I had planned. My mom will be the one hosting my baby shower while I'm stuck six hours away on a military base who's roads are probably going to go BLACK tonight. What fun... At least we managed to go shopping yesterday, so if we get snowed in, at least will have plenty of food. |

If it's really bad, you might have to crawl out a window because the door won't budge. WE laugh ourselves silly looking at places like like England or New York which get an inch and fall apart.Though, truth to tell, every damn year we have the newspapers telling us of 'chaos' on the roads here after first snow, all because the roads aren't plowed yet and there are always some idiots who don't put on winter tires until they've driven off the road at least once. That happened the last winter I was there, actually - giant drift covered half the house so I had to climb out a window and dig a tunnel to the door. Annoyance is people not being careful while cleaning... my sister was spraying furniture polish on chairs, got some on the floor, and neglected to clean it up. This was extremely unwise, because she forgot a few important things: 1) Wood floors 2) Everyone wearing socks on wood floors 3) Everyone in our family is extremely uncoordinated 4) One of these uncoordinated people is a pregnant lady who really does not need to risk a concussion walking down the hall 5) One of the other uncoordinated people is a holiday alcoholic who has a hard enough standing upright anytime in late December without the floors being sabotaged Ass bruising, faceplants, and spilling my drink resulted.
