Damn yo-yo temperature.
A couple of days ago it was a few degrees above freezing. Now it's down to -15 again. And it's been like that ever since New Years.

We've been having the same thing going on here. We've already surpassed our usual snowfall for the year, think we've had around 50" so far. But, you wouldn't know that by looking outside because it's all been melted. We go from single digit temps to the 40s every other week or so. Right now it's in the mid 20s outside, but by the weekend it's supposed to be almost 40. We were at 50 this last weekend. 50 in January is not normal. It wreaking havoc on our roads too. The freeze/thaw is creating huge potholes.
6 1/2 weeks til Spring.

Judging by the posts, the little engine that could, never did.
I'm in the same boat down here DD. Right now it should be bitterly cold and frosty with daytime highs in the low 30's...... I keep waiting for that wicked bitch to throw a sucker punch that lays us out.

You know it is going to happen when we have to drive to Reno next weekend!

It's a damn good thing we were not planning on taking your truck! You know we have to take my car silly, especially if Lich goes.

Winter? What is this mythical season called winter? You mean that brief spit of snow around Christmas? Was that winter? Fucked if I know. Daytime highs are supposed to be climbing up into the 60's over here this week. Chew on THOSE sour grapes.

I have two words for you and your 60* weather Sisq, and they rhyme with yuck fou.

A week ago it was nearing -20. Now it's been hovering around 0 or +1 the last couple of days. Rain two days ago. Snow last night. Polished, wet ice everywhere.

I wish the weather would make up its mind if it wanted to be warm or cold. If it just hovered around freezing until spring sets in, we could turn off the oil heating. Save some money that way, just using wood when we have guests.
