Member Since: July 2003 RK: 13 MP: 6,289 | Thursday October 8, 2009 1:52 PM RAGE is getting in trouble at work for something I didn't do.I work the front desk at a residence hall, and one of our responsibilities is "renting out" the key to the kitchen. All students can use it, but they're expected to not be douchenozzles and keep it clean. I got in trouble because someone I rented the key out to apparently kind of trashed it. Makes sense, except that checking the state of the kitchen is the responsibility of the person who is on duty when the key gets returned - and they still had it out when I got off work. But, no. I get the e-mail of bitchery. Though it did lead to a rather amusing conversation with the Hall Coordinator... HC: Well, it's your responsibility to make sure the kitchen is cleaned. Me: ... even when I'm off work? HC: Don't you care about the state of your dorm's facilities? Me: When I'm off work? Not really. HC: That's not a very positive attitude for a (hall's name) resident. Me: Since I don't live here, I don't really give a shit. They better remove the strike from my record, or I will be most put out. I don't know who's pissing me off more here, the staff who don't understand work shifts or the dumbasses that don't know how to clean up after themselves.
